Sweet Escape: Being Unplugged

I still can’t say enough about the joys of being “disconnected” or “unplugged” at times from the computer. It is a beautiful thing! Here are some shots I took of my son last weekend on the Willamette River. Bliss!

You are so right!! I just came back from Toronto with my daughter and I turned my cell phone off and made sure I wasn’t near any computer. Besides crossing the border, it was great fun to be alone with my nineteen year old, visiting our past together and away from everything. I came back totally recharged. Blessings, Karen

Lovely pictures! How nice it is to walk away from the computer, especially as spring begins to unfold. Enjoy, and congrats on the Washington Post feature!

How fun!!! Ducks are a joy to watch. They just go on like you aren’t even there.

Your son is just so cute. Give that sweet little boy a HUG from me and Doogs.

So sweet! I love ducks. My parents have a pair that have been coming to their place every spring for the last 10 years.

Yup, I agree. It’s good to be “unplugged” for a few days at a time. We’re going to Grand Cayman in a few weeks and I’m looking forward to no phone, computer, NO KIDS!! Just hubs and me. Oh, we so need a trip to relax together.

    Blessings,

    Sher
