Oh, I love, love, love those bathrooms! Any one of them can come on by and be my bathroom any time – ha,ha!
And your celebration week sounds fabulously exciting!!
Just wanted you to know that I just gave you an award and tagged you for a meme (not that you have any spare time for that) on my blog! And that was before I knew about all of this loveliness! :)
Well, and here I thought I am done decorating my bathroom! There is so much inspiration in your post that I am itching to start all over again! :)
Perfect timing! I’m in the midst of reworking my horrendously dated bathroom and love the inspiration!!
Lovely, lovely bathrooms. Thanks for gleaning these gems. I love it that there are different styles, from the posh appeal to the vintage/distressed.
Love the post!
I love these bathrooms, especially the This Old House one! Great collection of photos!
I specially love the forth picture. It’s always difficult to find a place to set all the bathroom things if there’s no space, and that’s a perfect way to solve the problem! Thanks a lot!
Ooooh, I love bathrooms. They are all so beautiful, and MUCH bigger than mine :(
I have a fern outside on the porch that I will attempt to bring in the bathroom for the winter- I see one in your pictures – and it looks good :) I hope mine will do as well!!
Beautiful! I especially liked the one with the horizontally striped walls.
Oh my. Oh my, oh my, oh my. Maybe it’s time to paint my bathroom.
Pretty, pretty bathrooms. I love the blue one!
These are all wonderful. Not all to my taste – but wonderful.
The first one just sings to me. I would love to live the rest of my life in a house just like the one that includes that bathroom. I can just tell.
Thanks for bringing these little jewels to us!
Beautiful bathrooms…makes me really wish my current one wasn’t so beyond sucky! lol
Beautiful bathrooms! I love seeing the beautiful pics you come up with. I mentioned your upcoming celebration week on my blog today. :)
Sherrie
OH how perfect the timing on this feature as I’m agonizing over paint chips and choices right now for my master bath. I love the seaglass colors, so spa like and soothing! Thanks for much inspiration! XOXO
Hi :) I thought I’d say ‘hi’! I’ve visited your blog several times but just became a subscriber to your blog the other day. I love all the content you have here! Looking forward to all the fall nesting stuff you’ll be having. :) Have a great week.
Wow, a lot has happened in such a short time. I have been traveling for awhile and haven’t been able to keep up on all my favorite blogs- {meaning yours} Loved all the wedding pictures and story- Beautiful. Glad things turned out lovely. The Candy bar, fantastic!
I love fall- so looking forward to your fall kick off! You are one busy women. I will be switching out the old address for your new one- hopefully today :}
Have a great day-
my bathroom was completely gutted on the weekend, it’s been rebuilt as we speak. hopefully it will be just as nice as those when it’s complete.
I’m glad you did this post, and posted such a variety of styles! I am going to completely remodel my bathrooms in the next year, and love to see lots of ideas. My favorite style is the gold and white one from cottage living? Loved it!
oh i love all of these!
you didn’t need to include mine in with these! puh-lease!
they are so beautiful.
i love all the first ones the most.
hope you had a good weekend.
it was surprisingly quiet here.
those are always good.
These are very lovely – and oh so clean! Also, would love your input about where you live and what you love about it – check it out over at Please Sir!
Oh….see, now I wish I could get past the “everything is on a shelf so it must be fine” stage. We’ve been in this house for 4 months, and it’s going to take a long time to get everything picture ready! Gorgeous bathrooms.
I have to do some updating myself so this was great inspiration for me. Glad you are enjoying them photos too! Happy day everyone!
Oh what I would do for a big bathroom, just to have a roll top bath in there and space!!! Love the ones that are white and simple :-)
btw I have updated your link with new address :-)
I’m so glad I came across your website. I’m planning a bathroom makeover in the next month, now I have some beautiful ideas, thanks to you!
I’m in the process of giving my family room a mini makeover. I have photos posted on my blog.
Your new subscriber,
Teri
Naturally, I love the yellow one…so lovely and restrained. Now is that an artful cover up in the second photograph? The little stool with a couple of towels to distract from the pipe under the sink? Maybe!
Vee, you eagle eye you! Yes, that is a CREATIVE CONCEALMENT! Clever clever.
Welcome and thank you to new subscribers and thank you from the bottom of my heart to those of you who are re-linking with my new blog address.
xox
I like the frist picture, how fun, and to have a huge bathroom that would be the best!
i am new to your blog, and i just love it! it is exactly my style, and i find it so “inspiring.” :) i am excited about visiting often, and i have already linked you on to my blog.
Just catching up on posts. Love the wedding details, looks like everything turned out great! In case you didn’t know, on Sept. 6th in Cannon Beach residents on Presedential Street are opening up their homes for a cottage tour! I can’t wait to peak inside those beautiful homes! Thanks for the bathroom posts, I’m saving them in my “I love file.”
Melissa,
Your site is lovely! I can’t wait to finish my projects to I can spend more time reading your articles! My blog url is http://www.sidsavers.wordpress.com
Thank you again for all of the bathroom ideas. I can’t wait to get started! Well, really I can’t wait to be done!
Have a great day!
Teri
Thanks for showing those fabulously awesome bathrooms. Very inspiring. I love most of them and now officially hate my own. ;)
Wonderful pics – I especially love those with beadboard! I have you on my blog as one of my favorites and I check everyday as beautiful things are so uplifting! Thanks for sharing with us!
What fabulous bathrooms. My favourite would have to be the second one from This Old House, casey sills. The photos of that one look so relaxing and peaceful
Alison
I agree, these are all lovely, but I like Meg Duerksen’s A new old inspiring bathroom best too! Awesome spaces.
oh, all of them are just lovely *sigh*. our bathroom is a disaster :( .
anyway, i wanted to say congrat’s on the new big girl’s address not complain about our bathroom *lol* !
Love these bathrooms! I wish I could just sink into one of those tubs…
Updated my reader! :)
hi friends! thank you all for your super nice comments today. i’m always so happy to see you here and get to know who likes the same loveliness that i do. :-) hope you are all having a great day!
Oh I love them all..especially the top one!! I have had a thing with black, white and green lately!! :)
Love these bathrooms. My guest bath is the same green as in the first photo. So cheery.
Also, I think this post was a sign. I just painted my kitchen a great dark brown and wanted to add bead board in the bay window area where the table is. I also wanted to do it higher than the normal chair rail. These pictures just sealed the deal! Can’t wait to do it now:)
NOW, we’re talking SERIOUS beauty pauses. i want one. just can’t decide which one, other than for sure a claw footed one.
Meg’s bathroom is incredible!! Our “big” bathroom is only about 4″x9″ and it’s impossible to make it look lush with the kids’ leftover toothpaste in the sink =) Blessings… Polly
I knew you would have some great inspiration for me! We are in desperate need of a master bathroom makeover. I love your blog!
My dear friend!
Pretty bathrooms make me smile on the inside! Thanks for making me happy. You always have a special way of doing that!
I updated your new address on my blog. You are so wonderful that I would hate for people to not be able to find you!
Love you, dear one!
Debbie
These bathrooms are so gorgeous, and there are so many ideas here. I browsed back one post to see your news. I changed my google reader to reflect your new address, I hit the button and ta dah, it’s done. I will also change the link on my blog too. I can’t wait to see your fall posts. Karen
Thank you for loving me anyway, even tho I don’t have a blog. I’ve shared your site with many and everyone always thanks me profusely!! My home is my sanctuary and my joy to care for and love. With your site updated so frequently, who needs shelter magazines any more?? I appreciate your insight and information as I’m always doing something to my fluff and feather my nest.
Warmest wishes,
Annie
Hi, it’s me. #47. While my heart will always belong to Candice Olsen’s bathroom designs, you have picked DIVINE baths. They are specTACular. Good job!
Ilove all the bathrooms! I know mine sure needs
some help with a remodel!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much for posting that first picture! The one painted green. I am in love with it! My heart skipped a beat when I saw it! :-)

Thank you for all the beautiful photos and wonderful inspiration. I have now realized that I need to start paying more attention to Cottage Living, as I love each and every one of their photos you showcased!
Hi Melissa! I’m so sorry i haven’t been here much lately! Summer is just so busy! I know I’ve missed so much so hopefully I’ll get all caught up.
I love these bathrooms, but especially the one from This Old House. It reminds me a lot of the look I was going for (but didn’t quite get) when we remodeled one of our bathrooms. That one is beautiful!
Hey beautiful lady -your wedding well your daughters – looks lovely – I especially love the sweets !! MWAH to you:-)
Just beautiful, I have really enjoyed this post!
Melissa, I wrote about your fall submissions on my post today, and directed people to your post. Have a lovely day. Karen
I love beautiful and easy to care bathroom. The look is important but I am concerned by the clean- up too.
Nowadays the shower and the bath are big and spacious the are also separated and the shower has big, big glass-door.
I don’t live in a magazine ( though, I love to look at them to be inspired) so I prefer simple, clean, luminous bathroom.
Thank you for the great pictures
Beautiful baths Melissa. They make my very small, but newly re-done bath look tiny, but I love the classic cottage appeal of mine ( or will when just a couple more things get done).
Janet
Hi Melissa! Wowzers, these bathrooms are all so fabulous and so luxurious in their own ways. We are right smack-dab in the middle of updating two baths upstairs. Now I just need to find some fixtures, a nice mirrow (or two) and do the beadboard. I wanted it all done yesterday! haha.
Have a lovely weekend!
xo
Becky
I could see me and a glass of wine in almost any of them! Such spa-like retreats.
Time to get a subscrip to Coastal Living. These are great!
