Little Window Shoppe:
A Sweet Bloggy Giveaway

One of the things I love most about blogging is the great community of women I have met. I have had the honor of connecting and working with amazing people in blogland. With all the struggles in today’s economy, there is no better time to bond together and support each other in any way we can. That is where blogging becomes real life, and I love that.

We all bring different things to the blog community (even YOU as a reader!). Whether your share your ideas & experiences, your talents,  products, services or do what you can to support and encourage others, I want to thank you all for the role you play in making blogland what it is.

We are in this together, and I am honored to work along side of you all in this great community.

One of the wonderful people I have met recently is Emily from Little Window Shoppe and Emily June Designs. Look at how adorable her family is!

If you haven’t seen her sites, I hope you’ll check them out. Little Window Shoppe just makes me smile when I look at it. Such a sweet place, full of inspiring ideas and shops to swoon over.

In addition to her creativity and the way she supports others through her blog, Emily is a blog designer! As long as we are all in the Spring decorating mood, how many of you are wishing you could do a little blog makeover too? Well, have I got a treat for you!

Emily is offering one lucky The Inspired Room reader a Simple Blog Design in today’s giveaway!

That is a sweet giveaway.

Here’s what the giveaway includes (depending on what the winner wants):

A Simple Blog Design
Emily can work with Wordpress or Blogger, 2 or 3 column design (1 sidebar vs. 2 sidebars), horizontal navigation bar (optional), matching sidebar, titles and design, background design, header design, favicon, post divider and blog button.

If your blog is looking a little stale or if you are ready to take the leap into having your own blog (come on, it is fun!), this might be your lucky day!

Leave a comment here on this post about why you need a blog makeover or a brand new blog design.
A winner will be chosen at random on Sunday night and will be announced next week!

See Emily’s great portfolio here and start dreaming of your own blog makeover!
And be sure to introduce yourself when you visit her blog!

Good luck everyone! And thank you Emily for this great giveaway!

I work as a caregiver for my elderly grandmother with dementia, my blog is my means for relaxation, I would love, love, love a makeover. I’m also currently a seller on etsy, and I am not able to market my shop on my current blog on wordpress. I am not permitted to enter javascript which does not allow me to promote my business. During these hard economic times, a blog makeover could be the answer to my prayers. Please help! Thank you!

I have been a fan of this site for quite some time…you could say I have been “inspired” to create my own blog. This just might be the perfect opportunity to begin what would likely be a wonderful and rewarding experience. What a great give away! Thank you for your FABULOUS blog!

  5. Emily says:

I managed to find a cute blog background with a blinkie for free. It is nice but I would like something that reflects my personality a little better. I started blogging for my family & friends almost a year ago because we moved from Portland Or. to Dallas Tx. It was a huge move away from all our family & friends and so to be able to still let everyone feel like a part of our lives I have turned to blogging for “A Place To Share”! :) I have also started viewing other blogs that I am now following and have been so inspired by them. So I would like to make my blog be something I could easily post for family and friends but I would also like to have something that I could post for the creative side of me which is all about decorating cost efficiently (as my hubby likes to put it)! So we will see… I hope to be in that place soon! Thanks so much to all you bloggers for the inspiration you give!

I would jump for joy to have a blog makeover – especially with such great talent at the design helm as Emily Jane. I’ve had my eye on her work for awhile now- love love LOVE her designs. I started blogging without a clue on how to design it – how to take pictures, do a header and my blog is so very boring. I have so much I want to write, to share, to do on my blog -and a fresh design would help people come AND STAY. If you build it they will come!! Please, please pick me!! Thank you for such a fun contest.

  29. Cristina says:

I’ve recently decided to join the blogging world. I have this idea that I know God has put on my heart to share with women. Especially those who are wives and mothers. It has to do with the Proverbs 31 women.
Being a married mom of 4 boys ages 9,7,5 and 18months plus a fifth boy on the way makes blogging among other hobbies difficult. I’ve become overwhelmed with dressing up my blog. I would love to have some one help me launch my blog!
If I can help just one person by inspiring them, encouraging them or up lifting them I would be so happy. I know this blog as well as many others keep me on cloud 9! I just want to spread the joy.

So thank you to all you fantastic bloggers! You’ve all inspired this stay at home mom of four plus 1 to carve out time to inspire others through blogging.
    BLESS YOU ALL!!!

  34. Michelle says:

I just started blogging and I’m feeling stifled by the layouts offered by the blogging site I’m using. The one I chose is just barely “okay”, but definitely not what I would choose given a better array of choices. I just feel pigeonholed and stymied by the layout as it is. I’m also such a newbie to this process and am trying to educate myself to use the “bells and whistles” available.

Emily June has the most amazing variety of appealing, crisp, clean and workable blog layouts I’ve seen. What a wonderful thing to make this giveaway available to a lucky one of us! Crossed fingers and toes, crossed fingers and toes!

    Blessings!

    Michelle

i’ve been blogging for more than 4 years… BUT, over at the much forgotten xanga site. i am ready to move to blogger or another domain, and would love a snappy, snazzy look to make the leap.

my husband just left two days ago with the marine corps for one year… one of my goals was to work on my blog, it’s look and it’s content while he’s gone. this would be perfect timing to give me a jumpstart into a new place for my musings!

I am in desperate need of blog design help… as intelligent as I think I am, not that I’m a super-brain or anything, but I am NOT dumb, for the life of me, I can’t figure this graphic design thing out! I’ve bought books, I’ve read articles, I’ve spent hours on the blog websites trying to manipulate things… I’m hopeless! It has stinted me to the point that I’m not blogging. I know that is terrible, and a really rotten excuse, but my creativity is just stifled by it. Not to mention, I’m depressed because this is one thing I can’t grasp.
