I would LOVE that craft room. I wonder if I can fake it in a dark, unfinished basement?

Sooo in love with the office with the blue cabinets!! I’d live in there, my family would never see me. I’d have to have a refrigerator in there! Thanks for sharing these awesome rooms!

Oh me oh my. I love the photo with the dog. I’d love to do that at my house. My hubby and I raise hunting dogs and we have oodles of work boots. I’d love to have them on display like that!

Ditto on the dog thing! Although we amass many more shoes than that…I definitely need shoe bins. I’d love to see people’s creative ideas for storing shoes in a mud room. I try to be organized but it’s always a mess – I’m just glad the boys take their shoes off (putting them ON the shelves may be asking too much ). Thx for the inspiration! Hope you have fully reoovered from the house saga. xoxo Lizabeth http://www.sparkbark.com

I need 1 more room in my house. I would love a craft room, so I could leave my sewing machine out, a place to wrap a gift with my stash of paper right there, a room I could close the door on and leave it a “project in progress” and not have to put everything away.
That blue cabinet room above would do just fine!

It really does inspire you to try harder with your little rooms, surely it can’t be too much effort!!! (I say wishing…)

It’ll be a while before I get around to doing much work to my house, since my kids are young. (My goal is to at least get some color on my walls this summer though.)

You provide so many great ideas for future incorporation though. Love, love, love the blue cabinet room. Yours is truly one of my favorite brain-vacation blogs. :)

I have a pretty office. Now if I could just keep it organized so you could see the desktops!! ha! Maybe I need to add a giant bulletin board. That’s pretty cool.

Is it telling that I want the dog in the second picture more than anything else? Hehe. Hubby and I don’t have the space for one, but as soon as we do…

On another note, I absolutely love the desk and the space in the third picture. I would so love to have windows like that! And those cabinets are amazing!

Yes, I could also handle any of those rooms. Oddly enough, I thought that the first room with the hanging whatever was holding drying laundry. Silly me!

I had to laugh at the one pair of shoes in the cubby box…o.k…that would never happen in my house with three kids! And the white boxes…NOT…LOL! There would be finger prints everywhere! I love your ideas. They always keep me inspired!

Ha, well at least it looks like they have little mats or rugs under the boots! I hate a white pantry in my old house that looked a lot like that and I had to use placements under all the cans to keep the shelves from getting all dinged up. A little extra work if you want that look, but it sure is cute in the picture anyways!! Thanks for stopping by!

Ohhhh, I recently had the pleasure of touring the Southern Living Idea House featured in picture 3. The one showing a home office with the bank of windows and the lovely blue cabinets. That room was my husband’s favorite and it defines a dreamy multi-tasking space. It’s also a laundry room and has a lovely built in blue hutch with a large white porcelain sink for potting plants, washing paint brushes, etc. I think that room was designed with a blogger in mind. The house is located in the mountains of north Georgia. What a beautiful room and a fun tour. Thank you for these lovely pictures!
