I am finally getting my art room painted (paint has been purchased since early fall). It is a very soft yellow called "Provence Cream." As we stand now, (since it is being painted over deep burgundy) it is going to take at least four more coats. Yes, we bought the paint with KILZ mixed into it, on the recommendation of the fellow at Home Depot. He assured us it would do the job in two coats. No dice. I am just glad it is getting done, and I will soon be able to move out of the corner of my dining room. Elbow room, elbow room, got to, got to get me some elbow room...

Blessings,
Christi

Hi Melissa,

That is THE most beautiful buttery yellow. I'm thinking about a quote from "Mrs Blandings builds a dream house" but it won't come to me....I'm sure you'll think of it though. As always....inspirational! Meredith xo.
