LOL. Yes you are.
One word of advice…keep up with where you primed. I’ve lived here 11 years and recently found a door jam with only primer! Have fun

You remind me so much of me!!! LOL I did the exact same thing when I owned my own townhouse. LOL Once I get started with paint I get so excited that I can’t stop. I am very happy for you. So what colors did you pick for the door and the cabinet? Can’t wait to hear more.

Oh, you are so committed now! Love it!
I especially love that all of that work to be completed is at your home,
not mine. But then you’ll have the benefit of the beautiful results.

Ha! Looking good!! Show us the laters when you get the mantel and door done, what a great start!! Janell
Step awaaaaay from the primer. Right after you are done priming everything in site. :) In the meantime, feel free to come paint my baseboards (which are primed) installed with our new flooring… 7 MONTHS AGO. *sigh*
I agree with Amy, we’re the wrong crowd to ask for help. My sister is only half joking (or maybe not at all) when she says the square footage on my home is shrinking from all the coats of paint. By her estimation we have lived here 11 years and each room has been at least 3 colours.

Oh noooo! How fun! Don’t be like me tho and get too far ahead of yourself. I have three projects done to the point of requiring caulk and primer and paint. Hoping I can do some tag-team finishing and get them all done at once!
Have fun, Melissa!

I’ve currently got skirting boards in my house that have only been primed. Since I’ve moved in I haven’t had a chance to paint them yet :( . It gets much harder when you have to move furniture.

can’t wait to see all the finished projects…you’ve been busy!
Too funny. I do the same thing with paint… hate to waste it, so I go around and find furniture to paint. Just primed our dining room yesterday…used that new Eco Friendly Primer…thought it worked great. Which one do you use?
Are you talking to me? Me who woke up in the living room? Yes me who decided to put down a floor yesterday and now need to paint it. Yes No I can’t help you……………. Its a race to the finish……………..<3 <3
I’ll take any leftover energy. I am told it is the launch that is hard then you get to moving it’s a breeze . I am trying to launch myself into several paint jobs. So far it hasn’t worked.

I can prime with the best of them, it’s the cut in work I don’t love. From primer to end result of color, that is the best. Prime away!

You’re so funny. I got out a can of white paint yesterday to paint ONE thing and started wiping white paint on everything!
That is hilarious! I did that to my house a month ago. My husband just grins.
Feels good though- you know you are halfway there to a beautiful new look!
New to your site, but I’m already in love. Can’t wait to browse around this afternoon!

Oh Melissa!
Please tell me we get to see the ‘Before’ & ‘After’ photos of the cabinet you started above in the second photo {pant, pant}…
can you tell I luuuuuuvvv projects too?!;)
How did you get up the nerve to START painting that beautiful wood piece? My DH would be having a coronary right now if he saw that!ROFL (~NOT about the coronary)
I have a pine piece right now that is nearly screaming at me for paint… can’t ‘settle’ on a color (aqua, metallic bronze, black)…so I haven’t chose one yet!ACK!!! (trying to kick myself)
