My husband and I are in love with this house. It is up on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle. It is just like a big old beautiful family house that you wish was passed down through the generations to you. And it would be nice if an inheritance came with it that covers all the maintenance, yard work and upkeep. As long as we’re dreaming.
It was really hard to take photos of it because of the privacy hedge and trees. I just wish I had been brave enough to sneak over the barriers and show you how awesome it was! But you can probably guess that it was amazing.
I really wondered what was in that room with the gorgeous big window. Look at how amazing their roof is too!
This is the street out in front of that house. You can see why Drive Bys can be challenging. You can’t always just “Drive By” a house like this. To really show off these lovelies you’d have to pole vault yourself over the shrubs and hope nobody notices the commotion.
The trees are really huge and hide the whole right side of the house.
The front entry area was really cool but it was impossible to photograph. Guess they probably like it that way.

Gotta say….you take a Sunday drive to a whole new high!!!
Blessings!
After our fellowship meal at church, everyone will likely come to our place to hang out! I think we may do a bonfire…
A bonfire!!?? Oh that sounds so fun, a perfect fallish thing to do!!
I love driving around looking at houses this time of the year. You can roll down the windows and take it all in . Great house…thanks for the tour!
WOW! That is gorgeous! I wanna move in!
I’ve only been to the Queen Anne area a few times, and I was younger so didn’t enjoy the real beauty of it. I grew up not far from Seattle, in North Bend.
I will be opening the windows and letting the sweet breeze blow in…aaaahhhhh. I love fall. : )
Love the pictures and of course I completely understand the dream. but however did you get close enough for those pictures? I don’t think I have the courage for that, but I’m glad you did. Thanks for sharing.

Your “wish house” is spectacular! You must keep your “eyes open” as hopefully, someday, it will be on a house tour and you can take us all along. Now, I’m wishing………..franki
What a beautiful house! I just love all those architectural details! I wish I could see the inside of the room with that gorgeous arched window! I bet it looks amazing!
I love that greyish-green paint color. Great P.I.-style photos.
I love this house. I used to live a few blocks away (in an apartment) and would run by everyday. When my husband and I got married we bought a house in Kirkland. I love that I live in a family friendly neighborhood now, but sometimes miss my old neighborhood.
What a lovely home!! I love Tudors. We had the privilege of living in one (much smaller than this on) and we loved all of the nooks and crannies and arches. Thanks for sharing!
I just baked the best Pumpkin bread!
Beautiful house—yep, I’d love to inherit a place like that too! :-)

our daughter used to live in an apt in queen anne. . . .what a lovely area to drive around! did you stop by, I think, it’s kelly park with the fantastic view?!
So beautiful!!! I love Seattle — I am just north and grew up in the beautiful old neighborhood’s in Vancouver. Miss those gorgeous homes!!!
What a beautiful house~ if Seattle is anything like Vancouver, BC,which I think it is, then there are several more such houses around that area. I love it, too bad it doesn’t belong to one of my relatives!
Hugs, Cindy
PS – please forgive the mis-typing that landed an apostrophe where it shouldn’t be.
Just beautiful!!! I love driving around looking at house and imagining what the inside looks like.
Such a lovely house!! And all that greenery so manicured to perfection…you can just imagine that the inside is as nice as the outside!!
You got me giggling with your comment about pole vaulting over the shrubbery to get a better view…what a visual!! *giggle*
What a beautiful house! If it were mine, I think I would want to have the trees trimmed away from the house so that you could better see what a gorgeous home I lived in. Just dreaming…. Thanks for sharing the great photos and joy of autumn!
What a great and beautiful house!!! xx
I love the roof…I always want to knock on the door of houses such as this one and ask for a private tour…too nosy or just too much imagination…probably a bit of both. Thanks for sharing!
This Fall afternoon I am at my lovely recently CLEANED home, with fall spicy candles lit, and steaming vegetables and baking cornbread… waiting on my husband and sweet girls to get home… also looking forward to tonight’s finale of Mad Men. Loving every second of my Fall night…
What a beautiful home. After admiring all those luscious details, I remind myself how much cleaning they demand!
We attended the Annual Cranberry Festival today — crafts, antiques, food, music and lots of people.

My youngest daughter ‘s wedding was last night. Everything turned out amazing. Today has been pretty laid back with hubby and me. Upset because I overslept and missed church.
Oh, that’s gorgeous! I grew up in an older home–my parents still live there and it’s about 110 years old. I love, love, love older homes but living in one is just a dream for me unless I can afford to bring it to its full potential! :) ~K
