Good Eggs

A couple of weeks ago I did a guest post over at Victoria’s blog, Decorating with Whimsy. Being the dear she is, sent generously sent me the most delightful box of goodies as a thank you! I was opening the darling gifts and in the box was this egg…isn’t it beautiful? I LOVE it! was thrilled to set it in one of my nests! It is the most beautiful addition to my egg collection! Thank you Victoria!

Speaking of features, I also want to thank Tonya from About.com Budget Decorating for featuring The Inspired Room as Budget Decorating Blog of the Week! SO NICE! I was thrilled she found my blog and wrote such a glowing feature, I promise I didn’t nominate myself, lol! Not that it wouldn’t be a good idea, and she does offer that option if you’d like to be featured!

Thank you also to Apartment Therapy’s Re-Nest for featuring my blue table a few weeks ago in their article “Painted Pieces: Making Old Loves Work in New Spaces!”

Thank you also to the wonderful people who have emailed me about donating things to our church, THANK YOU and BIG HUGS to each of you for your generosity and care. So grateful.

So many “Good Eggs” in blogland, don’t you think?

Oh, speaking of EGGS, need a last minute Easter brunch recipe? I posted it on facebook a couple of days ago but if you missed it, here is an old post where I shared our favorite egg dish, we are making it again this year!

Have a blessed Easter, everyone!

Now that is the fanciest, most beautiful egg I’ve ever seen! Looks right at home in that nest, too. Have a blessed and wonderful Easter weekend, Melissa.

What a happy looking pretty egg; brought a smile to my face. I love pattern and painted eggs too. I like the idea of using a nest for displying them. Mine from Eastern Europe are all in a candle vase base this year. Usually I put them in a silver chafing dish but just never got it polished. Yours looks so fun and freash! Happy Easter!
