Pretty rooms! Especially love the first one. A window seat in the kitchen is on my “to do” list… someday…
Painting my master bathroom a soft shade of green/gray and feeling the summer upon us.
I love these inspiring photos…made me smile this morning! I will try and post some tips about my Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Class I attended…:) I know you have been interested in that paint…There are more ways to use it! Yay!!!
Whoa! That chandelier is spectacular… Love it all!
Spectacular! We are getting ready to do our own summer cottage remodel next month and I am pretty much giddy with anticipation!!
Love these pictures … I have a thing for seaside looking homes.
I love the green and white curtains in the first picture. Beautiful! I am going out to find some fabric like that for my kitchen curtains. I may just have to do that window seat in my kitchen as well! Thank you for the inspiration.
Really like the pics…inspiration for my cottage redos :)
What great inspiration! I love the first photo. The green and soft aqua are beautiful together. I love them with the crisp white and contrasting dark floor.
You always find the best pictures to share. Thanks!
Ahhhhhhh!!!!! franki
Soft aqua and green–tranquil colors, for all year long. I have these hues in our bedroom, mixed with soft gray, and a pop of raspberry. Thank you for such beautiful images on a Monday morning.
Those are such cheery rooms. I needed that infusion of sunshine and sea this dreary June-gloom morning in So. Cal.

Love them all too…especially the first one.
Window seats are so dreamy – hope to have one someday. Such pretty images!
I love the lime green curtains in the first picture.
It is so beautiful in Chicago today, I don’t even feel the need to be at a beach cottage . . . but looking is fun.
Fondly,
Glenda
I LOVE LOVE LOVE those green curtains! I have been looking for a fabric just like that! If anyone has any idea what it is, let me know!
i am in love with the curtains in that first photo…
Hi there,
Just beautiful! Love ALL the photos. I enjoy visiting your blog. Love blogs that feature homes and decorating! Have a wonderful day. xoxo Kim
Hi Melissa! I just stumbled onto your blog while doing an internet search for an upcoming kitchen remodel. An hour later I am still perusing your delightful posts! We very recently moved to Portland due to my husbands job transfer and will close on an old farmhouse in three weeks. I’d be grateful for recommendations for a contractor as well as stores we should be aware of in the area! I tried to e-mail you but for some reason the link wouldn’t work for me. Feel free to e-mail me if you have a minute to respond. Thank you!
Random, that is my aunt’s house on Nantucket! She will be thrilled to know that I stumbled upon it here — it really is gorgeous on the inside and SO cheery. Thanks for posting!
I love the first photo and the last one. They are definitely my colors lately!
I dream of a cottage by the sea too! These photos have me daydreaming right now.
I have had 2 deep red couches over my 39 years of marriage. I have one now,in fact. And 2 ofmy upholstered chairs are in rust and another in deep sage green. My very lightly tinted ,walls are light and airy with a picture window draped with ivory sheers and side panels with all the colours of my furniture in a pattern of red poppies, sage green vines,,yellows and rust. I need to get a new area rug, Not sure what neutral color would anchor this large living room. Any ideas ladies? I have little grandchildren, just so you know.
My walls are a very pale yellow tint. And my floors are a darker oak wood flooring.
