Adorable sheep pillows! via Design Sponge sold at Kin Ship Press on Etsy

A better night’s sleep and less counting sheep means I am more cheerful the next day, move more efficiently through my to do list and have more clarity in my thinking! I’d say sleep is pretty important for busy moms and dream chasers, wouldn’t you?

Sweet Dreams, Sleep Well {Tempur-Pedic Giveaway Contest!!}

Last week I was able to make one of my daughter’s dreams come true by presenting her with a Tempur-Pedic bed.

So often my job provides us what we need and more and I couldn’t be more grateful or feel more blessed.

I was offered a Tempur-Pedic bed as a part of this promotion and when I called my girl Courtney to let her know I’d be giving this mattress to her to replace her broken bed, she practically jumped through the phone to tell me getting a Tempur-Pedic bed was her life long dream {second only to seeing a whale leap out of the water.}

Who knew a Tempur-Pedic was her dream?! Not me! That girl cracks me up. She is always a ray of sunshine. She has willingly and without complaint given up every entire weekend of her three years of college to travel an hour from Seattle to help out with church and other needs, so she is truly deserving of a special gift like this.

But she is not the only one who is loving this new bed!

Sweet Dreams, Sleep Well {Tempur-Pedic Giveaway Contest!!}

Wow, it’s been so long since I got a good night’s sleep, I am not sure what I’d do! Probably get a lot more done during the day and not wake up so stiff :) Count me in, please!

  2. Ellen

With a better night’s sleep, I would definitely figure out how my family (my husband, my 4-mo-old, and I) are going to do some service this summer. We’ve been dying to find a project! And then we’d actually do it :)

  3. Neena

Our bed is over 10 years old. I imagine a better nights sleep would make me more patient with my children and more motivated to relax and enjoy the simple blessings in our life.

  4. Amber Reed

I work with disadvantaged youth every day, and although I try not to, sometimes how much sleep I get is reflected in our activities for the day. I work hard not be grumpy, but warn them if I haven’t had a lot of sleep :) The hordes of kids who call me “Miss Amber” would be forever grateful.

  5. Beth

With a better night’s sleep, my joints would feel less stiff so I would … walk more, swim more, bike more, garden more, and not even mind vacuuming the stairs! Thanks for an amazing giveaway!

  6. DeDe Vest

According to research experts, if I would get a better night’s sleep, I could lose weight easier. I need a new mattress for my diet! A tempur-pedic would be perfect!

  7. Monie

I have slept all night, and I have slept pain-free, since sleeping on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. It is really hard to put into words how life-changing a mattress can be. The only negative I can think of is that I don’t travel anymore, because I don’t want to leave my Tempur-Pedic! I’d love my guests to have the same luxurious sleep…and my guest room happens to have a queen size bed!

  8. Claudia

I’ve been dreaming of a Tempur-Pedic since I was lucky enough to sleep on one when I was working out of town for an extended period of time. Tempur-Pedic had donated a number of their mattresses to the theater company. I was smitten. I have the creaky and achy bones of a woman in her late 50’s – especially a bad lower back. With the Tempur-Pedic, I slept like a baby and had no morning aches and pains. Alas, our mattress at home isn’t a Tempur-Pedic and money is tight.

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I’d stop walking around, hunched over, complaining about my gosh-darned aching back. My dreams would be about a trip to Europe, or a new car, or world peace, instead of relief for my creaky body. Just think what I could accomplish!

  9. Allison mee

With a good night’s sleep I would have all the energy I need to finish projects around our house. My husband and I just bought our first home, a little brick cottage originally built in 1945. Right now we sleep in the full size bed I’ve had since college! We would love the new bed!

  10. Sally

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I would BOUNCE out of bed at 5:30 on the dot instead of hitting the snooze button 1, 2, maybe 3 times. Don’t judge. Remember, I’m the one that’s not getting a good night’s sleep… YET. =)

  11. Tracy Rizzo

I would maybe not be tired at 2:00 every day! And I could have a mattress without a broken spring sticking out of it! LOL

  12. fitzwoman

    Not feel tired every afternoon!

  13. yby5

Ah…to get a better night’s sleep would making waking in the morining more enjoyable and feeling ready for the day ahead with my three young girls. Seven years ago I had a double mascectomy and ever since sleeping on my right side has been uncomrfotable. Probably our 13 year old mattress doesn’t help to create a well rested comfortable night.
Last year we looked at a Tempur-Pedic…I can already attest to the comfort having checked them out in the store. But to actually sleep on one every night…that would be heaven! Thanks for the opportunity:)

  14. Amy Walker

    Oh, I too dream of a Tempur-Pedic!
If I slept on one I would do alot more dreaming instead of being awake! I would sleep through the night, I just know it! My mattress is killing my back, my shoulders, my hips. I would climb a 14,000 footer, I would walk 5 miles a day, I would be able to lift heavy things and be able to quit complaining to my husband that my body hurts. He would love you for that. I would cook more and garden and take long trips sitting in the car without having to get out and walk because my body hurts. I would wake up singing “Oh what a beautiful mornin!”
For now, I will just dream about a Tempur-Pedic bed, (of course while I am awake, laying on my lumpy, mean mattress during the night.)
Oh, bed judges… please pick me…Blessings!

  15. sarah

with a better night’s sleep, it would be easier to tackle the day that starts at 6:00 when my little guy calls “mommy, mommy” from his room. oh the joys of toddler hood. so that’s what i’d do….be up and ready to go. :)

  16. Karen White

A better night’s sleep would help me enjoy life even more! thanks for the opportunity, GREAT giveaway, k

  17. Julie

I am answering this question for my parents because if I won this, I’d definitely give the mattress to them. They’ve dreamed of getting a Tempur-Pedic, but just haven’t had the extra money to do that. Because he’s in an ongoing struggle with terminal cancer each day, I think a better night’s sleep would give my dad a little more quality of life. And I’d love to be able to see him get that. Thanks for this opportunity!

  18. Janet

A good night’s sleep would do wonders for me. Obviously, it would prevent that achy groggy start to my day and give me more patience. But it’s also been proven it would improve my memory and creativity. With more focus, I could have more fun, and get through the day not wondering where it went at the end of it, but know I had been successful and could look forward to the next night’s good sleep. Thanks for the chance at an absolutely awesome giveaway.

  19. June

I was blessed to be able to sleep on a Tempur-Pedic mattress when I was recovering from surgery–twice! It really made a difference in my recovery! We’ve been planning to invest in a new mattress since, but our money keeps getting diverted into other “needs”. You know how it is, everything and everyone else gets taken care of first. A good night’s sleep is so important-when you wake up, you feel that you can move mountains! I don’t need to move any mountains, I would just love to be able to live my life without pain and exhaustion, to take care of who and what needs to be taken care of! I really appreciate the opportunity to win! :-)

  20. Elle

I would face the day refreshed and rarin’ to go! It’s a struggle to get up many mornings because I go to bed too late. Burning the candle at both ends is not good. Thank you for this giveaway!

  21. Francine

Actually, I don’t sleep very well. But with a better nights sleep, I would possibly become a better caregiver for my husband, who had a stroke and suffered brain damage over 13 years ago! Also it would help with taking care of my mom’s needs too. I moved her to a assisted living place a year ago, but it’s still alot of work for me! And it would keep me refreshed when I watch my two tot grandkids two days a week! They are VERY active!!

  22. Eileen Cooper

Oh a better night’s sleep, what could I do? I sleep with a man who has sleep apnea, our bed caves in in the middle, he is in the middle with his elbow in my head. I have horrid back and neck problems and waking up stiff and sore every morning just does not make me very ambitious. To be able to sleep on something that didn’t cave in might make me more able to function and be a little more pleasant to my grandchildren who I watch as a full time job. I also paint and create, so sleeping would enable that process better too…………………ah dreaming of a better night’s sleep!

  23. Abigail

I would find the 4:00 a.m. alarm clock much less intimidating – and hopefully I wouldn’t have to go to the chiropractor as often. It would go a long way in keeping my husband from herniating another disc (missed 2 months of work from that this winter), and I wouldn’t feel like I’m trying to sleep on a mountainside when I lay beside him (he weighs a lot more than I do). ;)

We have been dreaming of a new mattress and bed for a long time but can’t afford one until we pay off the rest of our 6-figure school debt…so this would be truly amazing!

  24. Mary

Wow, with a better nights sleep I would probably be able to standup straight in the morning, ready to take on another day of working in the garden. Those heavy bags of soil and mulch don’t move themselves. Thanks for the opportunity to have chance on this wonderful giveaway.

  25. Vivian

I just had back surgery last September and have not been able to sleep in bed without hurting so I would be happy to get out of bed not hurting. I would be a happy person again.

  26. susie

What a fabulous giveaway!!!! A good night’s sleep always makes for a better day….more energy, better mood and I wake up with this feeling of I can conquer all on my to do list.

  27. Angela Bailey

I have had such a difficult time finding a bed that can give me a good night sleep. Since I have very painful migraines when I have any type of night with a lack of sleep, I would love to be able to get a really good night sleep to help alleviate at least a few of these terrible migraines. My kids would be forever grateful since the migraines make me a little grumpy no matter how much I try not to let it happen :)

  28. Kim

With a better nights sleep, hmmm! Be more refreshed in the morning and be able to get a jump on the day. Always so many plans but when you start off sleepy hard to get very far!

  29. Robin Gossman

I sleep in a queen size bed with my 6 ft, 225 lb husband and two medium size dogs. One moves, we all move! Enough said?

  30. Mary S

Having just woke up from an awful night sleep and a sore back, I would give almost anything. If I had a good night sleep and no back pain I would go take my 4 children on a bike ride to the tennis courts and play some tennis!

  31. SueAnn

I would quit walking around like a zombie!! I could get so much more done!! Instead of feeling like I need a nap several times a day!! What a wonderful giveaway!!
    Hugs
    SueAnn

  32. Brenda J

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? Everything! I’m a horrible sleeper. I’d have more energy to chase after my toddler and to exercise. I wouldn’t need that third cup of coffee in the morning (I’ll WANT it but I wouldn’t NEED it).

  33. Carolyn

A good night’s sleep? I’d be so grateful for one! I have interstitial cystitis, which keeps me up at night and added to that I’ve had shingles for the past 6 months and I can’t lay on my side because of the pain. I’d love a comfy, softer bed so I could sleep well again! With a better night’s sleep I’d be ready to face whatever the day throws at me, be it at work or at home. A better night’s sleep would give me time…time to work around the house, spend time with my grown children and maybe, just maybe, I’d have the energy to volunteer again!

  34. Ali Solano

I work as a school psychologist for the Delaware Autism Program, and spend my days working with kids ages 2 to 21 who have rather significant disabilities. I’m sure a better night’s sleep would help me be better at my job! There are always so many things I want to do to help these kids, and unfortunately there’s usually not enough time in the day – but hopefully a better night’s sleep would allow me to work faster and more efficiently, letting me get more done!

  35. Stephanie L

Ooooh, sleep! I’d continue my daily battle to save the world, then rest my arthritic joins to get up and do it again the next day and the next. Oh, and adorn it with pretty bed linens, because who wouldn’t love that? :)

  36. Vicky

I can’t imagine winning such a wonderful gift but a good night’s sleep on a that mattress on these almost 67 year old bones would be very nice indeed! And add to that an adjustable frame- well, oh my goodness! I have COPD and need to be elevated to rest. What a great give-away!

  37. Kathleen K

My husband and I don’t remember how old our mattress is–10, 11 years? I rarely sleep through the night because I awaken, needing to shift positions. With a full night of restful sleep? Oh my. I could probably go for a run first thing without spending 10-15 minutes trying to loosen stiffened joints. I could garden until the heat drove me inside. I’d have more energy to spend time with the kids, rather than directing them from the couch where I’m taking a 15 minute rest. And that is what I think if on the spur of the moment. With a good night’s sleep, I could come up with a more thoughtful response.

  38. Jeannie

Wow! What an amazing giveaway. This would be a dream come true for sure. With a better nights sleep I could rely on less coffee to energize me (a lot less coffee)! In turn I would drink more water and my whole body would be thanking you…inside and out! Although, it would not help with my four little ones roaming in in the night. I’m sure we would all appreciate a comfy nights sleep on a Temper-Pedic!

  39. Crystal

With a good night’s sleep I would be nicer to my husband. More present with my 5 month old. More attentive at work. More creative in my blogging. I would smile more.

  40. Whitney

I would push snooze a WHOLE LOT less in the morning. It drives my husband CRAZY! It might even save our marriage. Just kidding…it’s not THAT bad, but I really want this bed! :)

  41. Franki Parde

Finally, getting the children off and “started” on their lives, etc….it would do “wonders” for “our lives” to have a genuine “Temper-Pedic” mattress to enjoy retirement. What a blissful dream!! franki [email protected]

  42. Cynthia Smith

My bed is worn out! I know exactly what I would do with better sleep — rescue more dachshunds or more precisely, help the dachshund rescue that I volunteer with save more dachshunds. Do you even know how much dachshunds love to sleep in the big bed?! I can’t imagine how willing my pack would be to help me try out our new bed. A Temper-Pedic good night’s sleep — a rescuer and a dachshund’s dream come true!

Sitting on a plane, neck pain, headache, tired body. I would kill for good sleep right now. I have the pillow, now I need the mattress.

  45. Lisa

I would have more overnight guests! A queen bed would be in my guest bedroom and I’m sure my out of town family and friends wouldn’t mind the 3 hour drive once they tried the Tempur-Pedic! I might even have to steal a night or two as my own house guest :)

  46. Lisa

I would give it to my sister! She is a pastor’s wife, she is 52 years old, and she just went back to college to become a nurse ! I’m soooo proud of her! She has a bad back and shoulder from lifting and assisting people while working as a nurses’ aid. She does not have an easy life; her middle son is disabled. Yet she has a heart of gold and always has a smile and a kind word for everyone.

  47. MG Atwood

Sitting on a plane, neck pain, headache, tired body. I would kill for good sleep. I have the pillow, now I need the mattress.

  48. maryc

Fantastic prize! With a better night’s sleep maybe I could do all the things that just don’t happen during the day because I have spent the whole night tossing and turning.

  49. Lisa

Could you please modify my comment above? I did not write the former one from someone named Lisa. I only wrote the last one. Maybe you could change my name to Lisa Mary, or Lisa M. , to make the distinction? Just a thought. Thanks!!!

  50. Lyn

get more done! without feeling as though I need a nap!

  51. Debi

I am writing this for my son, Danny. A better nights sleep would help him tremendously. Danny is a U.S. Marine and completed his second tour in Afghanistan. He will be Honorably Discharged from the marines sometime in the next 30 days. He doesn’t sleep well for several reasons and lives with constant pain, because of injuries he sustained during his both of his tours. He was a dog handler for an IED dog on his first tour, and sustained injuries from some IED’s exploding. He walks with a limp from shrapnel going through his knee. He also has other things wrong with him that will also have to be taken care of with surgery after he is out of the marines, but needless to say he lives with constant pain. You would not know this from watching him, talking to him, or knowing him. You see Danny is very modest, and just tells you he was doing his job, and he came back alive, and with all of his body in one piece. He is our hero.

A Temper-Simplicity bed woud mean he could sleep for more then 2 hours a night. It would alleviate the pressure and stress that normal matresses cause on his back, knees, shoulders, hands, and neck. Before he came home in December, the one thing that he said he wanted to buy with his combat pay was a Temperpedic mattress. Unfortunately, this was not able to happen because he had to pay to have his truck fixed, and there was not enough left to buy the mattress. He has slept on the ground in poppy fields with his dog Buck, he has slept on cots, he has served his country well. He asks for nothing in return, so as his mom I am asking for something for him. I am asking for this so that he may be able to get a good nights sleep. He believed in December that this mattress would help him and could not afford to buy one. He has given up on that dream. So on his behalf, i am asking that this returning veteran has his dream come true.

Semper Fi! I was going to enter the contest, but after reading Debi’s post…she gets my vote!

  52. Jillian {Her Split Ends}

With a better night’s sleep…i would wake up in time to exercise before work…get more done during the day…and overall just feel great!!

    Yeah for Temperpedic!!

Whatwould I do with a good night sleep…….everything!!! I feel so much better physically and mentally when I am able to get a good night’s rest, and I can honestly say, that it has been a couple of years since I have been able to do that.

  54. Heidi

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I think the question should be, “what wouldn’t I do with a better’s night sleep.?”

I run in the morning, so the alarm goes off anywhere betweeen 4:15am and 5:00am. It’s TOUGH getting up that early in the morning. It’s dark outside, it’s cold outside of the blankets, and there’s cute puppies and a husband soundly sleeping away. But, I have to get up and run. With a better night’s sleep I’ll be able to sleep soundly and be refreshed in the morning. I’ll be charged to go running. Right now, it’s a battle to get up and get out the door. Getting out of bed is the first step and that’s the step I’m missing more often than I want to admit.

  55. Valerie J.

Granted I just came back from the ER because of dizziness and nausea due to lack of sleep, the possibilities with a good night of sleep seem endless to me. With a better night’sleep, I’d probably take over the world at this point ot maybe just keep up with my 3 monkeys currently jumping on the couch. Nah, I’d definitely take over the world!

  56. Julie R

If I could get a good nights sleep I think I could do so much more with my day. I would have more energy and be more able to keep up with my boys..

  57. JoanO

I would seek to make other people’s day more pleasant. When I get a good night’s sleep there is no limit to my patience and empathy for others. I can smile in traffic, treat coworkers thoughtfully and take the time to thank and connect with others. A restful night’s sleep is restorative to the soul.

  58. Hallie

I would breeze through my day of work, community obligations and then housework like a knife through soft butter! :) Thanks for the chance to win such a great giveaway!

  59. Danielle

With a better night’s sleep, I would be able to bounce out of bed and be ready to exercise early in the morning! What an awesome giveaway!! Thank you.

  60. Kari

What would you do with a better night’s sleep? Maybe I should go ask my husband, who’s still in bed- at 9:41 am! :) I have three children, two in school, one I am still homeschooling. I’m a pastor’s wife, a mom, a housekeeper, a chauffer, a cook, a seamstress (and all that comes with momhood) and a part time photographer. By the time early evening rolls around, I am always exhausted. I’d love to fall into bed at night and sleep well, but we have a 10 year old mattress. Hubby and I both often can’t sleep well or wake up with backaches. I imagine we’d both look forward to waking up and embracing the day with the rest we’ve gotten. :) Although, now that I think of it, I think we might just look forward all day to getting back into bed. :)

  61. Pam

If I had a good night sleep I could CONQUER THE WORLD. Sleep is one of the most important things in my life. When I get the best sleep I am in the best mood! Makes life so much easier to handle every day experiences.

  62. Josanne

Oh man, I would just love the fact that I slept!!!! I’m an insomniac with a whiplash injury… I think just to wake up feeling refreshed and rested in the morning will help get through long days singing lol – that’s what I would do with a good night sleep

  63. mel

To be perfectly honest, I sleep like a log wherever I am. I wake up refreshed and ready to go at it (well, at least after the first cup of coffee)!

My husband used to be the same, until back surgery, bursitis, and degenerative arthritis limped into the picture. We used to volunteer at the local animal shelter together on the weekends and after work, but he’s constantly tired from not being able to sleep at night and can’t stand having to walk around so much… he’s still volunteering to coach Little League, but even that’s taking it’s toll. Facing surgery right now for his back again, we looked at getting a new bed but it’s a little out of our price range with having to pay for the hospital (and as everyone’s said, it’s hard to heal when you can’t sleep well), which is why I jumped at the chance to enter!

Of course, given the proper opportunity and a good night’s rest, we’d probably conquer the world / build more dog houses / walk more dogs / coach more kids… it’s amazing what a good night’s sleep will do!

  64. Rebecca Cash

What would I do for a better night’s sleep??? oh so many things! I would start my day by exercising! I would be refreshed and ready for my commute and long work day, to arrive home and prepare supper and clean the kitchen! A good nights sleep is only something I ‘dream’ about now!
    awesome contest!

  65. Jerene

    I’d go to bed earlier.

  66. Kim G

What would I do with a better night’s sleep?

When my son was born two years ago, I developed chronic insomnia. The insomnia has caused permanent anxiety, burning skin, panic attacks, and chronic depression. If I had a better night’s sleep, I would take my two kids to the park instead of putting them in front of the TV while I cry on the couch. I would have them help me cook a healthy meal for their daddy instead of ordering take out many times a week. I would make my husband a very happy man because I’d be “in the mood” more often. I would have friends again because I’d have the energy to make them and go out with them. I would be a happier wife, a better mother, and perhaps I’d find that “eternal optimist” that has been buried deep inside me for the past two years.

  67. Angela

What would I do with a better nights sleep….well, I’d most likely be more patient, more fun and ever look better! See, I really need to win! :)

  68. Kelly Palmer

It has been so long since I have had a really good nights sleep that I am not sure what I would do. Hopefully I would be in a better mood in the morning and be more productive throughout the day :)

  69. emily/thesearethedays

With a better night’s sleep, my husband and I would wake up earlier, with less stiffness, and eager to face the day!

  70. Michelle

Hopefully I’d be a better me! More energy to keep up with my kids, my house and my every-growing to-do list. This mattress would be a dream!

  71. Kellie

My youngest children are 2 and 4. I don’t think I have experienced a good night of sleep in 5 years.

  72. ali

What I would do with a good nights sleep. I would wake with a smile on my face and no need to snooze the alarm clock. Just being able to do this would be wonderful!

  73. Molly

What would I do for a better nights sleep? That is kind of like asking “what would you do for a klondike bar?” I don’t like ice cream (“what” I know, but it’s true) so asking “what would I do for a better nights sleep” is perfect for me. Answer: Almost anything, with in reason, I think, maybe.
In all truth, sleep in so important and at this point, we are sleeping on a mattress that needs to be replaced, desperately. I could only imagine what it would be like to wake up and not have our backs ache, to be happy and joyful at our 5:30am wake up call from our 3 year old, to be able to not say “I did’t sleep well, we need a new Temper-Simplicity Mattress…. I think it just might change our lives. So yes, I think I would do almost anything in the world of total silliness. :-)

  74. Tammi D

With a good night’s sleep, I just might be able to complete the dozen projects I have started and start some new one’s!

  75. Sallie

What could be better than a Tempur-Pedic mattress? Only one with an adjustable base! A base that allows for slight elevation at the head to ease GERD symptoms and reduce snoring! What would I do with a better night’s sleep? Wake up refreshed and completely rested, without pain or tingling limbs, grateful for a new day, feeling full of energy. And when I could finally tear myself away from my Tempur-Pedic bedded bliss, I would tackle the world with vigor and hope!

With a better night’s sleep, I would go from mommy to MOTHER! I would find myself waking without any alarm clock to sunlight streaming through my window and the birds chirping a lovely springtime melody. This would cause me to float out of bed (in my long flowy white night gown rustling in the breeze) and head to the bathroom where, when I look in the mirror, the face of an angel looks back – no make up needed here – a good night’s sleep has given me a natural radiant glow. The rest of the day would magically fall into place – breakfast cooked, dishes done, kids dressed and playing nicely with each other, house cleaned – all with a Michael Buble soundtrack playing in the background. When my husband arrives home from work, I kiss him on the cheek and lead him to the dining room where dinner is out on the table, kids are waiting patiently, and we enjoy a lovely family meal followed by songs a camp fire in the backyard – where we roast s’mores and talk of fond family memories. Then we hug goodnight and tell each other how much we love each other and turn in for another good night’s sleep….if I had a good night’s sleep!

  77. Geriann

What wouldn’t I do with a good nights sleep. I recently started running (never did it before) and at the beginning all the creaks and pains that go with it. I am doing fine- it is just my back lately. I don’t know why. I can’t get comfortable at night and wake up in the middle of the night at least 3 times with pain in my back. I am by no means a back sleeper- but that is the only way that I get comfortable unfortunately. With a good nights sleep- I might start to feel better and keep forging ahead on my running expedition. Sometimes it is so hard but I just keep moving.

  78. Maureen

For a better night sleep I would be able to function during the day. I am always at a loss of sleep. I have a hard time sleeping and then when I do fall asleep I am asleep for just a few hours (an hour or two) then I go and watch tv or knit or something). I would be able to function and be a nicer person and probably not be so emotionally tearing.

  79. Edwina

Oh my, more than once I have told my husband that if I slept well, I’d be a force to be reckoned with! LOL Thanks for offering this amazingly generous giveaway!

  80. Karen Mary

I have an inkling that I would be a changed woman! Not too long ago my husband and I stayed in a hotel with a wonderful bed and bedding. I was amazed at how well I slept and how great I felt the next day! I don’t think I ever really believed the mattress would make much of a difference. (My hubby and I are sleeping on a mattress that was a hand-me-down (from my parents) 21 years ago!) A new mattress is on our wish list, but getting our 4 kids through college and continual repairs on our 1890s home come first!

  81. Danielle M.

Oh goodness…I almost do not even know where to start! First, be excited to not have aches and pains from sleeping on an old bed. Second, go get my books and magazines and camp out for the day in my new favorite place!

  82. Lori R.

Oh my. A better night’s sleep. First of all I would hope that my back pains would go away and then I could accomplish so much more. Right now I have gardening awaiting me as well as a piece of furniture that I’m re-purposing.

  83. Lisa

What would I do with a better night’s sleep?

    REVEL * CELEBRATE * DANCE * DREAM * SMILE

I might finally be able to approach a day with a normal amount of energy and enthusiasm! We bought a new bed less than 5 years ago, but it’s still not doing the job. Between joint issues and allergies, among other things, finding the right balance of support and comfort can be so tricky. I am known to sneak away to my parents’ bedroom when I visit and lie down on their Tempur-Pedic mattress for a little ahhhhhh moment. The Ergo Adjustable Base sounds like just the ticket for better breathing and back relief! What a joy it would be to erase “insomniac” from my list of traits :)

What a wonderful giveaway!! Thanks Melissa and Tempur-Pedic!

  84. Sarah K

I would love a better night’s sleep. 7 months pregnant and tossing and turning all night! I would save up my energy for when the baby comes :)

  85. kristin

I would actually get up when the alarm goes off and get some exercise instead of hitting snooze 4 times!

  86. Katie

What would I do with a better night’s sleep?

I’d find the energy to accomplish my dream. The next four years of my life will be filled to the brim with exams, clinicals, research, volunteer work, and a part time job as I strive to become a Nurse Practitioner and Certified Midwife. Falling asleep and staying asleep for the few hours I have will mean that I can tackle every day with all the excitement and determination that pursuing a dream deserves.

  87. Linda G

Everything is better with a good night’s sleep! Our family just finished a visit to my in-laws’ home. Nice home, had everything we needed, but it wasn’t our bed. The mattress seemed to sink to one side before we even got on it. We could barely sleep, and it showed the next day. We woke up still tired and short with the people we love.
When we got home last night, my husband laid the baby on her crib and he said her whole body relaxed, as if to say “THIS is my home and my bed.”

  88. Lisa

What would I do with a better night’s sleep?
Not looking for sympathy just stating the fact of our life. We have a disabled adult son who still lives with us and has severe seizures. We have a monitor on every night in our bedroom to be able to hear him if he needs us. I sleep very little and pretty lightly. But my greatest rest comes from the Sunday Sabbath afternoon naps I try to take. I can “imagine” myself releasing life’s tensions on a comfy bed, rejuvenated to carry on!

  89. whitney

so exciting! what an amazing giveaway!

I would get up early, make myself a delicious breakfast, and eat it BEFORE I got to work instead of at my desk :)

  90. twelve30

I’d be better prepared to deal with the effects of fibromyalgia – sleep is really hard for me. Thanks for the giveaway.

  91. Lisa

If I had a better night’s sleep I would get more work done and have more energy to exercise!

  92. Zan

I would awake to a husband in less pain because he could sleep! I would also awake more energized so I can be a better caretaker for my parents! Actually I might give it to them.

  93. VICKIE M.

Wow, where do I start. What couldn’t I do with more sleep is the question. My husband and I are in need of a new mattress. We both wake up with the same look on our faces. We can’t sleep, our backs are so sore. We did check out the Tempru-pedic at one of our local furniture stores and they are awesome! But the big price tag made us sad. This mattress is going to be our next big purchase, once we save. Or maybe we will WIN! How great would that be. I would to win this for my husband, he is a hard worker and makes it possible for me to stay home with out 4 children. Thank you and good luck to everyone.

  94. Julie

With a better nights sleep I would be a nicer person. Not waking up on a saggy mattress would be a dream!

  95. Melissa Lynch

I could be a better wife, mother, daughter and faithful servant.

  96. Jennifer Morris

With a better night’s sleep my husband would have more days without back pain!! What a wonderful thing that would be!!!

  97. Linda

    with a better night sleep I would be healthy(er), happy(er) and wise(er)!

  98. Heidi Muller

With a better night’s sleep, I’ll bounce out of bed, drink less coffee, give bigger hugs, smile every couple minutes, make time for exercise, and be sure to be in bed by 10 so that I can do it all again.

  99. MommaHen

What would I do with a better nights sleep? I would actually enjoy the remaining 5 months of my pregnancy . This being my third pregnancy , I know all about the importance of comfort and a good nights sleep. It’s almost impossible to get either on my generic , stiff as a board, hand-me-down mattress. Winning this bed would be a “dream come true!”

  100. Lauren

I suffer from chronic migraines and I spend a lot of time often in my bed. Most mornings I wake up with a migraine and I know it is partially because I wasn’t able to sleep well. I would love to be able to sleep soundly and comfortably every night. I am willing to try anything to get rid of migraines and a good night of sleep would certainly be something to assist in that.

  101. Kristi Dvorak

My mattress has permanent “indentations” from where my husband and I lay in the bed…I toss and turn most nights and sometimes my back hurts…with a better night’s sleep I would hope that I would not require as many hours sleep as I do now to get me through the day, allowing me to conquer all I need to do in a day with a bright mind and rested body.

  102. Karen DeSantis

If I got a better night sleep, I would be in much less pain and I would be able to cope with my day in a much better way. My family and I would all greatly appreciate that.

  103. Traci Niese

What would I do with a better night’s sleep?
I’d wake up, then wake my hubby up (wink, wink), and have a fabulous day!!

Thanks for the chance to win Tempur-Pedic!

  104. Megan P

Oh my! I would conquer the world after a good night’s sleep! So much can be after sleeping well all night long!

  105. Jamie P

With a better night’s sleep I could keep up with my brood!
I would be much happier and not so rude!
As a mommy of four with kids under six
An uncomfortable bed and sleep just don’t mix!
I could get up with the baby then come right back to bed
And not toss and turn…just lay down my head!
When the twins start to cry and have a bad dream
Things wont be as bad as they seem!
Its been 7 years since sleep was good!
I know with your help I can sleep like I should!
Thank you for helping my dreams to come true!
With a Serta bed provided by you! :-)

  106. Cheryl

What would I do with a better night’s sleep?
As a nurse who works 12 hour shifts, sleep and rest are two of the most important things I can do for myself that is also a gift to my patients. I leave the house, many mornings before the sun comes up, hit the floor running….and it is on, non-stop, for 12 hours. When I get home at the end of my shift I look forward to a good meal, and a good nights sleep.
About 8 years ago, we purchased what we thought was top of the line box springs and mattress. Well, we were fooled. It is one of those “no flip” mattresses that are suppsose to last longer, needless to say, we need a new bed and have needed one for about a year now. I have looked into a tempur pedic bed, but right now it is more than our budget will allow.
This contest is an answer to my prayers….hoping to hear from you soon! :)
Never underestemate a good nights sleep!!! Sweet Dreams!!!
    Always,
    Cheryl~~~~~

  107. Deanna

Our mattress is old…we bought it new and since then have used the money we would spend on a new bed to give to missionaries, help folks out, raise our kids, buy a family business (women’s accessories!)…If I had a good nights sleep I would wake up rest and be able to hit the floor running each and everyday! Right now I hit the floor creaking until I get all stretched out! ha ha!

  108. Rachel B

With a better night’s sleep, I would be in less pain which would allow me to do more with my children. That would be such a blessing :)

  109. Jen

When I think of what I would do with a better night’s sleep, the possibilities are endless. I haven’t had a good night’s sleep since we got rid of my beloved Temperpedic mattress during my divorce. (We couldn’t agree on who would get to keep it!!) Now being a single mom, I have to fit everything into a small period of time, with work, children, keeping the house, and taking care of myself. So after some careful deliberation, I have decided what I would do if I had a better night’s sleep.

I would once again be able to get up at 4:40am in the morning to catch my 5:30am Hot Yoga class. (With my inability to sleep as of late, I absolutely can not get out of bed that early). There are no words that can describe the feeling I have when I finish my workout by 7am! With a good night’s sleep, AND my yoga workout out of the way, I can go into work stress free and ready to take on the day. I will have an enormous amount of energy to get me through until 5pm. I can go home and cook dinner guilt free, because I know I have done not only 1 good thing for myself, but TWO good things for myself! (Sleep and taking care of my body). After a good night’s sleep AND a hot yoga session, my mind is clearer, freeing up valuable brain space to interact with my children at dinner time. I won’t be falling asleep in my plate of food, and my children’s faces horrified at the site of zombie mom. Now that I don’t have to worry about getting a workout in after the kids go to sleep, I can start whittling away my ever growing To Do list. And once I chip off some of those To Dos… I can look forward to climbing into my amazingly comfortable bed, ready for yet another good night’s sleep!

I would be forever grateful if I won this bed! This would definitely be a dream come true for me too!

  110. Nikki Merritt

I would not feel so stiff in the mornings every.single.day if I could get a good night’s sleep. I also bet I’d be a calmer, happier mom and wife if I could just get some rest.

  111. Leigh

What would I do with a better night’s sleep?
With a better night’s sleep, I would wake up with a rested body and mind. With a better night’s sleep I would open my eyes and focus on the day ahead, what new creations I could make, how great of a dinner I would whip up that night, and how energized and in love with the world I felt. The world would be mine for the taking with a better night’s sleep!

…but maybe, I would be SO comfortable and cozy that I would turn my better night’s sleep into the need for breakfast in bed, a movie in bed, working from bed, and well… a better night’s sleep could be good either way! :)

  112. Erin

With a better night’s sleep, I would be better equipped to handle my full-time job as a toddler teacher, play for hours with my babies (the oldest isn’t even 16 months yet), be available to my family and friends, and make a bigger impact at church! All without an aching back, but with a huge smile!

  113. Sharon Goemaere

With a better night’s sleep I would enjoy improved health as I would awaken with more energy to exercise. The adjustable feature on this bed would allow me to elevate my legs which I have to do for a condition I have that is genetic.Winning this bed would be a dream come true for I have wanted an adjustable bed for husband I for years now. Thanks for the chance to win.~Sharon

  114. Brittny Cosentino

A tempur-pedic! My husband was literally just telling me we need to get one. I am a night owl, & my husband is the early bird. We can’t find time to where we both want to get up & do something. I stay up late, usually surfing the web, while he snores and snoozes beside me. He wants to wake up bright and early (7am! I couldn’t imagine!! :D ) on his days off & and take our daughters to the park or go fishing in the lake. One thing he doesn’t know is (gotta keep it a secret…) our daughters wake up late as well. Hehe. I am a stay at home mom, so fortunately I am able to stay up late and wake up late, so I guess I’ve “trained” my daughters to sleep late. Even though they both go to sleep at 8pm they wake up at 9am right along with me. Back to the question though, with a tempur-pedic, I would love to go to sleep early and enjoy sleep more. Wake up refreshed and able to spend my days fishing with my family rather than dragging along during the day. I would think the tempur-pedic would help me get a fish into the “Trident” sooner or later…. :)

  115. LeaAnn Schulz

With a much better night’s sleep I might actually be more productive during the day.

  116. Cathy

Oh my gosh, if I/we had one of these, we’d have a much better DAY!!!! My husband really wants one of these, and as long as it doesn’t look like a hospital bed, I’m for it ….we are NOT that old yet!!!

  117. Kristen

With a better night’s sleep, I would be a better mom! Working FT and raising a family is tough enough. Not being able to sleep soundly when the opportunity for sleep is there, makes being my best impossible.

  118. Stephanie

I would appreciate my waking day more. :)

  119. Linda

I think I could do so much if I could just get a good night’s sleep! I very rarely get a full 8 hours of sleep – maybe 4 times in the last 5 years. I finally have my personal life together, now I just need some sleep!

Thank you for offering this contest – good luck to everyone :)

  120. Joani

A good nights sleep……I forgot what that was like…..but, I could plant more in my garden & not be too tired to take care of it. The fruits of my labor would be shared with my family & neighbors. The world is waiting!

  121. Yvonne Higgins

I tweaked my back about a month ago and now in the course of EVERY night I sleep in 2 different beds and in a recliner or 2 trying to just get comfortable. With a new bed and a good night sleep. I might actually be able to keep up with a 2 year old and a 4 year old that I care for during the day. I could be a better Nana.

  122. Thomas

I would hope that a good nights sleep would help me get off my class 2 narcotic’s that I hate taking due to pain in my back, neck lags and arms. I’m not sleeping but about an hour at a time. Please help me with this. I hate taking Morphine everyday!

  123. Stef

Probably never get out of bed!

  124. GinaE

I am with your daughter, a new mattress is my front and center dream right now! I have a terminally ill family member right now, so sleep isn’t something I’ve had much of for several weeks. I could never afford one of these, so many, many thanks for the chance to win!!!!!!!!!!!!

  125. Jasmine

If I had a great night sleep, I would be much more patient with our 3 kids. And have more energy to chase them around!

  126. Amber McMullin

A better night’s sleep, you ask? What I wouldn’t give to have a better nights sleep. This momma of two kiddos under 2, needs some sleep! Maybe then, my hubby will stop referring to me as ‘Grumpy Mcgrumperston’ or was it ‘The Walking Dead’? Either way, a better nights sleep would help me be a better wife, mom, sister, and friend. An all around more productive version of me and not a lump on the couch, because of night after night of sleeping on an uncomfortable bed. More importantly my coffee pot and I can stop being on a first name basis and start seeing other people. It’s the little things, really.

  127. Mary Samson

Oh my gosh. We are 60 years old and have slept on a water bed since we were 18! I can’t begin to imagine what might happen around here with a good night’s sleep on a tempur pedic. Perhaps the tile backsplash would finally get installed after three years of my putting it off because it kills my back. Then I think the bathroom would get finished after 3 years of the wallpaper being off. We were doing a remodel and just flat ran out of energy. Oh the difference a tempur pedic would make. My sister has one and I have slept on it twice. I’ve been trying to convince the hubby how much sweeter and nicer I am when I get up, but I fear an ambush like this might be the only way to prove it to him. Then maybe he’d be able to rebuild the side porch that caved in a year ago! The excitement is unbearable……..hahahaha.

  128. Virginia

I’d probably sleep a lot better and not need as many hours in bed. I’d hopefully get up earlier and start running again ;)

  129. Lindsay

I’m sure I would be more pleasant and productive. And my back would thank me.

  130. Tammy

I would push aside my selfish desire to keep it for myself but would give it to my elderly dad who lives alone and whose health is declining. We want to help him to be as independent as possible and to be as comfortable as possible.

  131. Susan H.

With my osteoporosis a good night’s sleep would certainly help me feel more like doing more activities during the day. Bet it would help my dear husband sleep better too.

  132. Melissa

Oh my, with a better nights sleep, I could wake up rested and ready to face the world with more energy and less complaints about neck and or back pain. I believe I could accomplish much more throughout the day without feeling tired from not getting enough rest. A better nights sleep would be a dream…

  133. Idania De Jesus

A better night’s sleep would mean a new me in the morning! I am a mother of two and a part-time student. I suffer from what is called Sacroiliitis. It’s a joint that’s connected to the hip that was damaged during a fall several years ago. Since then I’m in constant pain whether I’m sitting, standing, sleeping, you name it. The bed I currently have (a brand that was expensive but turned out to be just a really expensive air mattress) does not help my condition. I often wake up with lower back pain (also caused by my condition) and spend my days in pain sometimes so much I can hardly walk. I’m not a pill popper so I often just deal with the pain. The only thing that helps is sitting in a reclined position (as in a recliner) to alleviate the pressure, but with two kids that’s hard to do. Having a bed I could position to alleviate any pressure on my hip would really be a dream come true. With one income it’s really hard to invest in such a thing because our budget is tight. Anyway, this really would be a dream come true so that I could for a change have sweet dreams! Thanks.

  134. Meredith

I would finally have enough energy to really play with my 2 1/2 year old in the morning while our 10 week old naps.

  135. maryann garland

If I had a new bed…especially this bed, I would have less aches and pains in my scoliosis back and neck. I might not be so distracted with pain and be able to focus on caring for my mother and my family. As an added bonus, I hear that sleep is good for your creativity! Our bed is about 15 years old and what do they say about how often you should get a new bed? I think it is time for me to win this bed!

  136. Megan K

Our bed causes us to sink into the middle and we get squished! We’d both feel caught up on sleep and feel overall less tired every day and evening if we got a good night’s sleep.

  137. Amanda Kurz

I would cry tears of thankfulness and be sooooo comfortable after my back surgery on May 31st! I will have a 3 month recovery and having a good nights rest is what’s going to help heal up my body faster so I can get back to my mom duties to my sweet and patient 6 year old daughter.

  138. Rebecca rodrigues

First my husband and I have been trying to save for a mattress for ten years, sadly we’ve been together for 12 and the mattress we hAve been sleeping on was mine in high school. Every year when we think we have enough saved up we buy something else that needs to be replaced, for example this year was a couch( ours literally broke) last year it was nursery furniture. our mattress is caving in and I still flip it! I sleep on the edge because that where it’s most firm, instead of cuddling with my hubby!
So what would I do with a better nights sleep??
Everything! Starting with getting up earlier( I would want to go to bed earlier also :) Take a walk, plan my day, no coffee needed, finish my to do list and best part spend time with my family when they get home from school and work, instead of dragging around because I’m so tired!

  139. Bobbye McCartha

I have CRPS, Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome from a fall in 2009 resulting in metal in left foot and hand and nerve damage to hand. My husband and I bought a “generic’ version of it because we couldn’t afford the Real thing. After sleeping on one on a recent trip; I realized how much less pain I was in upon awakening and was able to get up instead of lying there forever like I do at home because I’m in so much pain. My life could go back to being somewhat normal!

  140. Rachel Jernas

I’ve never been a good sleeper but it got REALLY bad when our 3 year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer. We spent MANY nights in the hospital having chemo and other drugs being pumped into her body. Those pumps would act up and have problems and then start beeping at all hours. Then the nurses would have to do their rounds. Besides all the noises and interruptions, hospital chairs are VERY uncomfortable to sleep on. When we would come home she was often on medication that would require me to be up in the middle of the night to give to her thru her central line (an “IV” that was semi-permanently placed in her chest) which then interrupted my sleep at home. Let alone the times that she would wake up to vomit b/c of the chemo.

Our daughter is cancer free now and is 6 years old and finishing kindergarten. But I still don’t sleep good. I know that I haven’t caught up on all of the sleep that I have missed. I’ve learned to “manage” on poor sleep.

To answer the question “what would I do with a good nights sleep?”….I honestly don’t know. It has been so long. I am sure that I would have more energy to get things done. I am sure that I will be less cranky with my family. It would be nice that my husband would get to benefit from this as well. He didn’t sleep good during that time as well.

    Thanks

  141. Lea Fry

Sleep is so important to all of us. I have a mild form of sleep apnea and cannot tolerate a bi-pap machine. Restful sleep is hard to come by for me. On top of the sleep problem, my husband snores and tosses and turns a lot. Our mattress was bought years ago from one of those cheap “put it on layaway” furniture stores. It is creaky and uncomfortable. I think a good night’s sleep every night would add years and smiles to our lives.

  142. Cecil Caperton

I would love to have a decent night’s sleep, and a Tempurpedic sounds like a great way to get it. A night without back aches would be fabulous.

  143. William

    From The Tempur-pedic-est- By Shakespear.
    “We are such stuff
As dreams are made on; and our little life
    Is rounded with a sleep.”

For what I could accomplish with a better
    nights sleep?
Not be it the actual endeavor but
The attitude with which it is complete.

For I be-eth a coach of league that is Little
I could cheer the entire games length
Frustrations omitted. As the players are 5 if not younger,
And require leadership that is well rested.

A better night sleep would afford me to wake
With a brighter disposition to prepare the breakfast I make
Growing boys, three, shall not start their day
With a full of grump father.

Whistling tunes would escape my lips
In the office, wage earners would produce
Finer commissions along with the moods.
    Brightening income for months.

Doing with a better nights sleep
Would last into the next eve.
Where I could write to my heart’s desire.
Stories created from the previous nights dreams.

The smile on my face, transferring to others
Passing it along, like a sought after disease.
    Reaching pandemic proportions.
    My good night’s sleep
Affecting the world one face at a time.

  144. Kate G

If I had a good nights sleep I would become a morning person!

  145. Rose

Oh, with a new mattress I’d enjoy the full night’s sleep I’ve been getting lately now that the baby’s sleeping through the night! That is, on nights when the toddler doesn’t get up…
I’d really appreciate it more for my husband’s sake — he never seems to sleep well and our cheapo mattress that is older than our marriage may be part of the reason. There are us-shaped craters in each side because we lost some of the supporting pieces when we moved the first time, and it got a little moldy in his bachelor basement apartment back in the day. A TempurPedic would be a fantastic upgrade!

  146. Crystal H

With a better night’s sleep, I’d feel like I could conquer the world!

From A-Z, a better night’s sleep would help me:
    Awake refreshed
    Be more “in the moment”
    Confront challenges with charm
    Dive into the details
    Exude effervescence
    Finally finish that project
    Greet interruptions with grace
    Handle the unexpected
    Increase my effectiveness
    Just go with it
    Keep up with the kids
    Launch through the laundry
Make the most of every moment
    Nail down the dinner menu
    Organize my thoughts
    Persevere through projects
    Quiet my spirit
    Restore and recharge
    Stop and smell the flowers
    Tackle the to-do list
    Upgrade my outlook
    View the possibilities
    Work in some “me time”
    X out back pain
    Yield better results
Zzzzzzzz peacefully (and look forward to doing it all again tomorrow!!)

  147. Christie

I would give this bed to my parents!! They have always had the worst luck in mattresses and have always wanted a Tempur-pedic mattress, but have never been able to afford one. My dad is scheduled to have hip replacement surgery this fall and this bed would be amazing for his recovery!! I would sleep better at night knowing that they were enjoying such an amazing bed!!! Hope I win!!! YAY!

  148. ellen fondell

i would keep growing this baby in my belly and be eternally thankful for more energy to waddle through the day.

  149. Heidi

With a better night’s sleep I’d be able to stay up later, get more done, be less cranky, drink less coffee, work out more, and with a bigger, more comfortable bed I’d be able to say goodbye to the turf wars my partner and I have in our current double bed that we share.

  150. Pam

Bake a pie, hike a trail, kiss my dog and roll down a grassy hill!

  151. Janice H

Hmm, after reading the prior post from Rachel I can’t think of anything nicer than that she receives this mattress! I vote that she gets it (not sure my vote counts but she deserves it in my mind!).

    Jan

  152. Wanda Saurer

What would I do with a good night’s sleep? Enjoy life much more than I am now. At present, it takes me a long time to fall asleep because of the aches and pains of arthritis. Staying asleep is also a challenge because of strange dreams. My friend and her husband just bought a Tempurpedic bed and are thrilled with the quality of sleep they are getting. I would love to have the same experience every night.

  153. Mischell Johnson

Good nights sleep, hmm. What would I do? I suppose a good nights sleep deserves. After kissing my husband good morning, having a good breakfast. a little workout. Then save the world with little random acts of kindness. In between all those random acts of Kindness, working would be a good idea. Upon arriving home, I would prepare two meals one for my family and one for a family in need of a meal. Deliver a home cooked meal then eat my meal with my family. Write or call my mother. Get in bed, say my prayers, read a good book and kiss my husband, Good Night. Knowing that being blessed means you can bless others.

  154. Amanda

With a better night’s sleep, I’d take my hyperactive puppy on a morning walk before work.

  155. Leanne

What would you do with a better night’s sleep?

    I’d snuggle a little closer… sleep in a little longer…
    laugh a little louder… walk a little farther…
    run a little faster… speak a little softer…
    mother more gently… work a little harder…
be a bit more patient… less likely to give up…
    have more motivation… gain a little luck…
    feel a little younger… lose a little weight…
look a little better… not staying up so late…
    be a kinder person… smile a little more…
yawn a little less… surpass what used to be my best…
    volenteer more often… be a better neighbor…
take a few more chances if the odds were in my favor…
    ache a little less… play a little more…
do the things I dreamed of… procrastinate no more…
    love a little deeper… stand a little taller…
have more more of me to give… because that’s what sleep is for.

  156. Kara

What would I do with a good nights sleep? If I got a good nights sleep, I’d stop complaining to my husband every time we get into bed about the quality of our mattress! Some nights we fall asleep with me giving him reasons why we need a good new mattress and him refuting them with good natured teasing.
Me: If we had a new mattress, I’d be so cheery in the morning.
Him: A new mattress is going to turn you into a morning person who will jump out of bed to make me coffee and not glare at me when I start singing??
Me: Ummmmmm…….. I think I would glare less and I could manage the coffee if you skipped the singing.

  157. Ashley Rodriguez

With a better nights sleep I would be SOOO many things:
    1. A more patient Mommy to my precious 5 & 2 year old (Hey I might even be able to give up that Xanax! I kid, I kid ;) )
    2. I would most definitely get into nursing school because I certainly wouldn’t be falling asleep in microbiology anymore and would get that A I so desperately need!
    3. A better wife because we could finally get rid of the pillowtop matress my husband hates with every fiber of his being and swears I am the reason we bought it.

Please, Pleeease, PHULEASE consider ME…I NEED A GOODNIGHT SLEEP!!!!
    THANK YOU!
    Ashley

  158. Amy

With a better nights sleep I would organize all the closets in my house and still have time for a walk around the block!

  159. Nancy L.

Oh wow! To get a good night’s sleep… I would have energy to be a more joyful mom/wife/employee/housekeeper. Can’t remember the last time I had a really good night’s sleep.

  160. Gina

What would I do with a good nights sleep? Get up energized and ready to face the day!! Wouldn’t it be fabulous?! =D

  161. Lizabeth

I would make every attempt to repeat the experience!!!

  162. Myra Weare

My sweet little girl is leaving her crib soon,
With this magic mattress, I think she would stay put in her room!
And She’d be safe and secure, in candyland I’m sure.
This bed would last long, til she’s all done with school,
She’ll wake so pretty and refreshed, that all the boys would drool!
We’d all sleep well, for a long night’s spell,
And grateful you’ll see, for a sleepy mommy I be!

  163. Michelle

With a better night’s sleep, surely I would be able to conquer the world!! Or atleast to finally have the energy to start those pre-work morning walks I keep saying that I am going to do!!

    Have a great day!!
    Michelle

  164. Donna

Be a much better mother, wife and co worker with a better night’s sleep. :)

  165. Steph Halvorsen

A better nights sleep would allow me to be a more functioning mom to my 4 bio and 2 foster kiddos. Most days i’m zombie like going through my days because i’m so exhausted! We desperately need a new mattress as I wake up most mornings with back pain and toss and turn through out the night. I have lots of kiddos to keep up with, a new mattress would make that task just a little easier!

  166. laura abbott

With a better nights sleep I am sure my energy level would be up and I would also feel better physically!

    Thanks
    Laura

  167. Terri

With a better nights sleep I would rise earlier, have more energy during my workout at the gym, and be a happier and more enthusiastic mom and wife!

  168. nancye6

With a better nights sleep I would able to face the day more alert. For the last 5 months, we’ve been up 8 times a night dealing with a sick, aging dog. We don’t complain because she’s the sick one but it does wear us down. A good mattress would allow one of us to sleep better and not disturb the other person. Thank you for this offer.

  169. angela r j

With a better night’s sleep, maybe I can make it through more than five books with my kids (in the middle of the day mind you) before nodding off…. We’ve been looking at getting a new mattress, so this would be wonderful!

  170. PLAMEN GEORGIEV

I would be so full with energy I would be seeding arround myself doing the things I have to be doing!

  171. Carolyn

With a better night’s sleep I would be better able to be who God wants me to be and do what He wants me to do!

  172. mrs. limestone

I need a new bed so this would be lovely.

What would I do with a good nights sleep? enjoy it of course!

  173. Nancy

A full night’s sleep in comfort? After that I bet I could:
    Articulate a complete sentence
    Beautify my yard
    Clean the whole house
    Dance all night
    Foster friendships
    Golf 18 holes
    Hold down 2 jobs
    Invest in the future
    Joke with friends
    Keep up with the Joneses
    Listen better
    Make a gourmet dinner
    Navigate through traffic
Offer to help those in need
    Paint a masterpiece
    Quilt
    Rearrange all my furniture
    Sew a new dress
    Travel the world
    Use my creativity
    Visualize my dreams
    X-ercise
Yodel a tune after getting some much needed
    Zzzzz’s!

  174. Amy

    I would conquer the world.

  175. Tammy Demoreuille

What would you do with a better night’s sleep?

I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Restless Leg Syndrome and Chronic Clinical Depression…and a long list of other health related problems. Getting a good night’s sleep would mean the world to me. The health problems listed above all form a vicious cycle that is very hard to break. Lack of sleep is a key issue to stopping the cycle. Recently I was recuperating from surgery in the hospital and noticed that my Fibro pain was less in the mornings when I got up after sleeping in a similar bed to the Tempur Adjustable bed. Even with the nurses coming and going off and on during the night, I felt much more rested…and I do not believe this was from the minimal pain meds I was on. I’ve been on and off of similar pain meds at home and have not had the same result. Getting a good night’s sleep, and it being in an adjustable bed, would mean getting some of my life back. In 2005, I was putting in field fencing and carrying shingles up on my roof for repair. In 2012, I spend an average of 2 to 3 days in bed due to pain and/or fatigue. On a “good day” I can make it through the grocery store and home, but that’s it. It’s extremely frustrating and has been hard to accept given my previous active lifestyle. Because I can no longer work outside of the home, we are living on just my husband’s income. It’s enough to make ends meet (Thank you, God!) but there’s no extra for a bed like this. I’m sure that there are people out there that have much worse conditions and who need this bed far more than I do, but I’d like to throw my name in the hat.

  176. Carol Adams

I’d feel a lot better!! I have lupus and frequently aches make me sleepless! Thank you!!

  177. Jodi O

With a better night’s sleep I could be a better person to my family and the community. Have more energy to face the challenges that life throws my way. Make every moment count.

  178. Rebecca

With a good night’s sleep…I would wake up rested and feeling great instead of tossing and turning all night and waking up grumpy and sore and bleary-eyed. Then, because I was so well-rested and cheery, I’d go get my three sleepy babies (5, 3, 11 mo) from their beds, bring them to my bed, and my husband and I would watch them slowly wake up in our comfy bed and then have a great morningtime snuggle and tickle fight! What else?

  179. Michelle

What would I do with a good night’s sleep, you ask? Well I surely wouldn’t be counting sheep. Or even making a peep. I would be fast asleep with my feet in the air certainly without a care on whether or not I will fair with the brisk morning air when it awakes me.

  180. Leannej

A good nights sleep would mean that I could play more with my children and not be so ornery. It would mean going to the chiropractor less for my aching back. Tempurpedic has always been a dream of mine too! Some day…

  181. Robin McGlinchey

With a better night’s sleep…I would simply be a better version of me!

  182. Brenna Marie

What would I do with a better nights sleep… Wake up with a smile instead of a groan from my achy back, No more tossing and turning all night and the squeak of the mattress spring would not wake me up!

Overall – better sleep = happier Mom & more productive during the day,

    (Thanks for the giveaway!)

  183. Donna McBroom-Theriot

Get up feeling rested and make my hubby an oreo malt for breakfast! lol

  184. Jennifer Davis

If I had a great nights sleep my back would be in much better condition to take care of my daughter who is disabled. I have to lift her everywhere and it’s really wearing me down. :(

  185. Dynelle

    warm,cozy bedding. firm pillow.

  186. Andrea

I am a hairdresser, so with a better night’s sleep, I could for once feel rested, I could spring out of the bed to make my baby boy’s days livelier, I could be in a wonderful mood for my deserving husband (and maybe it would help his snoring :)) With a temper-pedic, i could finally know what it feels like to be completely RESTED and have a fulfilled day because of it!!

  187. Sarah Jane

With a better night’s sleep, I am sure I would do all kinds of inspirational and kind things. But first, I would quit competing with my husband for the sagging center area of our queen size mattress also known as “the valley.” There is only room for one in “the valley,” and the winner takes all. The loser has to hang on for dear life to the edge of the bed for the rest of the night. The only consolation is knowing that the “valley” sleeper will need a big push to get out of bed in the morning. I believe a well rested marriage equals a lasting marriage!

  188. Mimi

Have more energy to get up at 3:30 a.m. to get ready to go downtown to New York City’s flower district to buy the freshest, best quality flowers for my deserving customers.

  189. Courtney

With a better nights sleep, I would study and do ALL of my homework ( I’m a returning full time adult student), clean my home more, be less drowsy in the morning (so in turn, drink less coffee), and be able to spend more cheerful times with my son and husband since I won’t be so crabby and tired with all of my new found sleep!

  190. leah

I would be more productive and actually spend some time on those parts of life that need some refining.

  191. Gwynn

With a good night’s sleep, I could stay awake when working – much of which is driving. :-0
My husband has a weird sleep schedule, and he frequently wakes me up when he comes to bed at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m.; then I can’t get back to sleep. We still sleep in the full-size bed I had before we were married.
The adjust-ability would be terrific for dealing with my chronic sinus infections…
What an awesome blessing it would be!

  192. Arlene Selser

What would I do with a good nights sleep?…………………..awake refreshed and ready to conquer the day with a more optimistic attitude.

  193. Kelly Reber

With a good nights sleep I could…. compete in triathlons, fix global warming, cure cancer… what couldn’t I do?? Just kidding… I would be a lot less grumpy and need a lot less coffee to wake me up in the morning!!

  194. Aimee

With a good night’s sleep… I could wake up refreshed, possibly have time for a healthy breakfast and a workout before I leave for work. I could also give my snooze button a little relief from being slapped a half-dozen times each morning!

  195. sangeetha

I may actually get up and workout! what a treat!

  196. Susanne

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I would share it with my beloved who was born with Cebral Palsy. Although he would never admit it, his middle aged body is feeling the fact that he has lived a more physically challenging life than most. With the use of predominantly his left hand, he has maintainned his current and very manual job for 29 years. Up until only the last 4 years he as worked two jobs for 20 some odd years. He plays basketball 2-3 times a week with his one good hand. He never, or rarely asks for help and complains less than I do. His courage is inspiring, but I know that he is feeling the effects as the years pass. I hear the yelps of pain, I see the stiffness in his shoulders and back. I know that time is wearing on him and he is responding as gracfully as possible. However, it’s time that he gets a little pampering. This is one way he would actually accept it….by winning it. Thank you for listening.

  197. Robyn

I would be in heaven, probably bounding out of the bed in the morning to make my hubs coffee!

  198. Lorna

    I would get less migraines.

  199. Kim Larson

What a wonderful giveaway! With a better night’s sleep, I would be able to give my four special needs children more smiles, more high fives, more encouraging words, more “from scratch” meals and more games of backyard tag! Thanks from the bottom of my heart for considering me for this gracious giveaway!
    Thanks and sweet dreams!
    Kim

  200. cindy r.

With a better night’s sleep, I could tackle the day with more spring in my step! Especially on the days I am blessed to watch my 3 year old nephew.

  201. Erin Young

more sleep? better sleep? i can’t even imagine! omg – i would just drink less coffee and get more done…YES!

  202. Emily

Sleep is my favorite thing, following food! I’d give anything for a better night’s sleep … my husband travels for work all the time and I just know he’d love to come home to a Tempur-Pedic! With a better night’s sleep, both he and I would smile a few more times every day!

  203. Linda Nelson

With a better night’s sleep I would be a better me.

  204. Evelyn Newbrough

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I am going to be 60 years old this year. I have arthritis and a disorder that causes muscle pain and inflamation. I have dreamed about a Tempur-Pedic bed for a long time because quality sleep is very important to my health. Getting a good night’s sleep means a better outlook every morning and makes it a whole lot easier to face the rest of my day with optimism. Being as well rested as possible makes it easier to find the joy in all the little things and it gives me the ability to do some of the little things I enjoy doing with my family. Who knows? After a good night’s sleep on a Tempur-Pedic mattress I might finally be able to leap tall buildings, and fight for justice and the American way!

  205. Karen Joy Huber

Well…I do love sleeping! To sleep well would mean more smiles, more random acts of kindness, more time to play with my granddaughter, more enjoyment of my awake time. Who knows what kind of Ripples that could lead to? Ah, the thought of it makes me want to day dream…..

  206. Janet Murdock

Oh to have a good nights sleep! A rested me would finish my work day earlier and have more time for family and friends, especially grand kids, gardening, walking and enjoying life in general =) What an amazing giveaway!!

  207. Melinda T

Ooh, Tempur Pedic beds are what dreams are made of! Getting a good night sleep on a Tempur Pedic bed sounds divine! I’d love to replace our “current” YEARS-OLD mattress and get the quality sleep that I so need and deserve! Hey, I’m a busy mom! ;) And this busy mom needs to recharge and renew her body and mind so she’s refreshed and ready to tackle life! Bring it on, old mattress, Tempur Pedic’s on my side!

FYI…This message has been pre-approved by my husband & our 2 girls! A happy mom, is a happy family! And no more of hearing my husband asking me which side of the bed I woke up on…because from here on out, its all good, so good!

  208. alison

with a better night’s sleep, i might actually get to work on time! way too often am i hitting snooze and sleeping in and then having to rush my morning routine, which also includes walking the dog since i live in a downtown apartment. .

  209. Mary Hall

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? You mean aside from not waking up feeling like I’d been washed up on a deserted beach? You mean aside from hobbling around like an ancient rune? Hmmm…I might just wake up and hop out of bed, refreshed and ready to take on the day!

  210. silva

An better nights sleep would surely provide my husband and kids with a decent breakfast. I know they would love that as much as I would:)

  211. Marla L.

With a better nights sleep I may actually want to get out of bed when the alarm goes off, but then again, with a nice mattress I may want to stay in bed longer!

  212. Heidi Witzel

With a better nights sleep, I would wake up in the morning and bounce out of bed instead of rolling out as I groan and creak. I would wake up revitalized and ready to play tennis at the ungodly hour of 7am! I would want to snuggle into bed at an earlier hour instead of putting off going to bed and falling asleep on the couch, if I knew a better nights sleep awaited me. Oh to look forward to a better nights sleep!

  213. Anne Drager

Man, oh man do I want this bed. I am worried that my entry won’t be creative enough. Why? Because I am too tired to think much less create. I am currently in Colombia with my husband adopting our second son. The mattress where we are staying is awful. New baby + bad sleep = grumpy mama and papa. I would LOVE to know that a wonderful, soft, quality mattress would be waiting at home upon our return. Do dreams come true? I wouldn’t know; I am too tired to remember mine.

  214. Laura

Hmmmm…..finish painting bedroom #2, move child #2 to bedroom #2, paint bedroom #1, move child #3 to bedroom #1 with child #1, move computer to bedroom #3, paint master bedroom, re-organize family room….& yes, this is really my to-do list:)!

  215. Cindy Hill

I’ve heard people don’t need as much sleep when they get older, and I don’t know about that, but I sure don’t get as much sleep, or the quality of sleep, that I did when I was a few decades younger. A better night’s sleep would help me to manage my health issues, finish planting and caring for my garden, and be a happier and more productive person. I doubt my family would even recognize me!

  216. Ginny Worsley

I love this blog and have never entered a giveaway. I am entering this one for my husband of almost 11 years. He has been wanting a new mattress. He says he would sleep better. What more could I ask for. Thanks for doing this!

  217. Trisha

I would conquer the world!!! Okay maybe my laundry, cleaning, go for a run, and give lots of snuggle time to my three children. Who I would have to kick out of my bed every night (cuz they all sleep sideways:) ) .

  218. ana frazee

    wake with a smile!!!!!

  219. Betty

I am 55 and have taught kindergarten for 34 years. I definitely need a good night’s sleep to fuel my energy for my next day of school with 20 five-year olds!

  220. erica

wake up, do a few somersaults (which I’ve never been able to do), put on my superhero cape, and go out and save the day!

  221. Michelle

Oh the ideas I could come up with for original children’s clothing if my mind was rested and clear from a great nights sleep!!!

  222. Rhonda Chittenden

    I would jump for joy!!!!!

  223. Darla H.

I would be in heaven! I just had disc surgery on my neck and a new mattress would be such a blessing! Crossing my fingers!

  224. Katie

    1. I would actually get up and take my puppy for a walk at 5am when she starts licking my face (currently I stumble downstairs put food in her bowl and let her outside)
    2. I would spend more time making myself look presentable in the morning either for work or for clinicals (currently I put on scrubs, brush my teeth, put my hair in a ponytail and run out the door).
    3. I would eat my breakfast at the kitchen counter (currently I eat it as I am speeding to work).
    4. I would not drink so many Rooster Boosters (they are delicious though), soda and iced tea while studying and taking tests.
    5. Most importantly I would be a more patient, compassionate, caring nurse, nurse practitioner student, wife, mom of a puppy, daughter, sister, cousin, friend (even at 6:30am when I just get to work).

  225. Barbara

I would wake up brighter, less achy and sore! I think I would function better at work but it’s hard to be sure without actually sleeping on a new and different mattress :). My mattress is getting old…

  226. Vicki Cluxton

What a great give-away! I’m running on empty these days, my mom is end stage Alzheimer’s. I toss and turn at night, most nights unable to get a good night’s sleep. A good night of rest would invigorate me for the day ahead!

  227. Denise Z

Thanks for the chance to win! I’m diabetic and when I don’t sleep well, my blood sugar gets out-of-whack. With a good night’s sleep, I’d not only wake up feeling better but also healthier!

  228. Jamie

    Originality?….Creativity?….here it goes!

    A better night’s sleep, a tempur-pedic for my bed,
I might start to love sleep & tackle my busy days ahead.
As a current working mom, and wishing for another baby,
If my husband woke with more energy..he might just say maybe?!
A bed is not just for sleep..for our family anyway,
It’s our favorite place to read stories & dream of summer games to play!
It would be a dream to win this bed & wake always feeling refreshed…
But if not we will continue counting sheep…and feeling always blessed!

  229. Kathy

Oh my goodness, with better sleep I would wake up more refreshed and function with less coffee! Thanks for the chance to win.

  230. maria & Cameron who loves Jack!

I would smile all day…and I would let people know why!!

  231. Jessi

Oh. My. With a better night’s sleep I would be so much less grumpy to my poor kids!! THEY need that bed!! :)

  232. Christy W

With a better nights sleep, I would be able to express all of the sunshine I carry in my heart. I would be less likely to scowl and growl. I would probably only say sweet, loving, positive things to my husband, friends, and co-workers. I’m almost certain that after a few nights of better beauty sleep, I would be able to give up wearing cosmetics, thereby saving time and money. With all of the energy I’d get from a better nights sleep, and all of the extra time I’d have in my day from not applying makeup, I’m betting I’d be able to exercise regularly. So, to make a long story (comment) short, with a better night’s sleep, I’d become more sweet-natured, attractive, and healthy. And, then I’d be ready to be in one the cool Temper-Pedic commercials. :)

  233. Cindy Malchi

A dream come true! This is truly a generous giveaway!
Temper-pedic keeps the orthopedic doctor away!
This would surely make my day!
This is all I got to say!
    xoxo GiGi

  234. Diane

Hopefully, I’d be nicer to my husband in the morning. Oh, and more creative.

  235. Katina

I think everyone that has posted deserves to win! :) If we all had a better night’s sleep we would all be better people to our friends, families, co-workers and strangers. I know I would play more with my 2.5 year old sweety :) Good luck to all. Lots of great posts.

  236. Ellen Fisk

Sleep is very important to my busy lifestyle; as retirees I’m not sure we’ll ever get to replace our old dippy mattress. I’m sure there are others who are working and need a great new mattress worse than I do, but they must go with Tempur-Pedic to ever realize that they have a new mattress!!!!! I hear they can’t be beat! If I could sleep on one of those, I’d probably think I was on Cloud Nine! With that kind of sleep I would be able to read my much loved books and Bible without falling asleep during the day; that would definitely enhance my personal growth making me a wiser person, a better wife, caregiver, grandparent and servant to my community. Ah, how fulfilling that would be!

  237. Whitney R

Better night sleep= one rested, replenished, energetic, blessed happy momma!
I have always wanted a Tempur-Pedic, your daughter’s life long dream is mine as well. :)

  238. Lavolily

I would be able to get up earlier – I just know there’s a morning person in me just waiting to get up early!

  239. Annette H

Sweeter dreams for me and my hubby, even if the kids crawl in with us!

  240. Liz

I would wake up a better me…Not the girl who wakes up each morning, hanging on to the side of her bed because the she is trying not to roll into the middle of the mattress that has gave way after 20 or so years. Help me! I can’t imagine what it would be like not to have to sleep on the edge, literally. My husband and I will be going on 30 years in 2013, this would be the greatest anniversary present ever!!!
In those 30 years we have purchased 1 set of new mattresses, and I think we spent about $200, so they certainly weren’t of quality. A tempur pedic would make those sweet dreams come true….

  241. Debbie

I would spend the day catching my kids instead of chasing them around with a better nights sleep!

  242. Sherri f.

A better night’s sleep? I’ve been needing that for over a year now due to a mattress that is sagging! Would sleep well and my hip would stop aching! Would love this!

  243. Jeannine B.

I would wake up refreshed and ready to tackle my day! Can’t imagine all of the DIY projects I could accomplish!

  244. Debra C

With a better nights sleep I would have more energy and not wake up tired like I do now! Maybe I could get a lot more done. [email protected]

  245. Danise Jurado

A better night’s sleep… To feel completely restored and energized after long days of volunteering as a teacher and mentor for women in the inner city of Los Angeles. To feel my sore muscles rest and relax after working out six days a week on my journey to wellness. To wake up inspired after a good night’s sleep to be the wife, mom, friend, mentor… the woman I am meant to be.

  246. Stephanie Mejan

Hubs and I share a room with our 18-month-old daughter, so a good night’s sleep is rare around here! I’d love to have more energy for my 3 kids, plan ahead some family time and develop a small business–if only for regular sleep!

  247. Kristen

I would actually sleep with my husband! His poor back has been so bad lately on our mattress he tucks me in and then goes to sleep on the sofa. This would be a serious life changer!

  248. Heather

Winning a tempurpedic bed would be a dream come true for me, too. I have a painful back injury and have been on medical leave for a month stuck in bed with a surgery coming up soon. My bed is fine, but nothing like what a tempurpedic would be like. To be able to recover from surgery with that bed? It would make a HUGE Difference- I’d definitely get a better nights sleep which could help me heal fast. I need it, too. I get married in two months. I hope I win!!!

  249. Cyndia Montgomery

I’m a woman with fibromyalgia and arthritis. I rarely, if ever, get a full night’s sleep. More often than not, I awake after 5 hours of sleep in pain, and end up moving to the sofa or recliner to sleep a bit more.
If I were able to get a full night’s sleep, I’d move through my days with grace and purpose, rather than tired. I’d be able to accomplish many things on my to-do lists; the things that I would love to check off as “DONE”!
And I’d be able to have the energy to play with my 4 yo nephew, help take care of the new twins coming into our family this summer, and enjoy my husband more. I’d remember what it is like to LIVE, rather than just exist.

  250. Chelsea

I would be a much brighter and cheery person. I struggle sleeping at night because our current mattress is so worn out. A Tempurpedic would be a dream come true!

  251. Quincey Shelton

Thanks for such an awesome giveaway! I am in college, and the mattresses provided are very old and thin. I can’t even begin to guess how many other bodies have slept on it… I have not had a new mattress for the longest time! I have insomnia, so a Tempur-Pedic mattress would be such a blessing for me and my sleep!

  252. Megan

My husband and I have been sleeping on a lumpy old mattress since we’re in the military and move around a lot and I think MY lifelong dream is to have a tempurpedic replace it. Pure bliss!!!!

  253. Carol

Ah, I might actually sleep! I would not be writing this comment at 4:30 a.m. Excellent contest, by the way, not for something just pretty, but a contest for something that will enhance the well being of the person fortunate enough to reap the benefits!!

  254. Jamie

I would love to give this bed to my parents! They have both worked extremely hard all their lives, sacrificing so their children could have nice things. Their mattress is ancient, since they won’t spend the money on themselves to replace it. It would be a delight to surprise them with this and know that they’ll sleep better and their health will be positively impacted!

  255. Robert

My wife was awake most of the night last night. Maybe she would be able to sleep on this mattress! I know I would be a lot more energetic at work if I had a great night sleep!

  256. Doreen H

I would have more energy to go play with my grandchildren if I had a good night sleep on this mattress!

  257. Denise Wilson

If I had a good night’s sleep, I would be more ready for my days of homeschooling my children, playing with my children, and doing all of my chores around the house. :) Thank you for the giveaway! Would love to win!

  258. kathy olson

If I had a better night’s sleep, I would have enough energy to be a better mom the next day:)

  259. Shari

My husband might sleep better. The day spa/massage therapist, and my chiropractor might make a little less money. But best of all, I could get out of bed in the morning not hobbling around until the Aleve kicks in, and just maybe I would not feel like a somebodies grandmother (even though I am one).

Thanks to Tempur-Pedic for sponsoring such a great giveaway during these economic times!

  260. Anne Bethea

Maybe I could finally, FINALLY, sleep through the night!

  261. Carla

Just after finishing radiation therapy for Breast Cancer in January, my SO and I took a trip to Mexico to relax. The second day there, I slipped on a wet tile floor and broke the tibial plateau in my right knee. I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in months. A Tempur-Simplicity mattress could make a world of difference! I’m sure I’d have more energy for the dreaded physical therapy :-) Thanks!

  262. Brenda

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I would look forward to bedtime, knowing that I would sleep peacefully and comfortably through the nigh. I would sleep a deep, restful sleep full of dreams, while my body would relax and repair the aches and pains of the day. Having my head raised up, I would “hopefully” not awaken my dear hubby with my snoring, and would have the added benefit of awakening without a stuffy nose. I would wake each morning, looking forward to the new day, fresh and ready to face whatever came my way, because I was fully rested and full of energy. That’s what I would do with a better night’s sleep!

  263. Erin

I would sleep all weekend with a better night’s sleep!! thanks for the chance!

  264. Raine Raschiatore

A better nights sleep? Wow, that would be lovely, to actually fall into a deep, restorative sleep. Oh, to sleep like a baby, without a care in the world. And to wake up relaxed as if I had been on a long vacation!! Carpe Diem!!!! What couldn’t you, any of us do, after a good night’s rest!! The options are endless!! Have a great day Melissa and everyone!! :)

  265. Elizabeth S

With a good night’s sleep, I would have more positive energy to share with those around me. Being happy at work first thing in the morning… and being glad to do things with my husband after work instead of flopping on the couch to watch TV!

  266. Sara Baicker-McKee

With a better night’s sleep, I would give my poor, beaten snooze button a rest

  267. Marlene

This is just what I need, but my daughter needs it more…since she had my first grandson three years ago she haven’t been able to sleep through the night because he suffers from constant nightmares…most of the time she is walking around like a zombie and now she is pregnant again and can’t find a restful spot in her old mattress; no matter how many pillows she piles around herself. Because she works full time she really needs more restful nights and I think that a Tempurpedic bed will make her life better.

  268. Laura

I would get up earlier, which would make our morning routine of getting me off to work and two kids of fto school run so much smoother even when hubby is traveling for work and not there to help.

  269. Emily

With a better night’s sleep I would wake up to my newborn baby a refreshed and energetic mama!

  270. Michelle

I would hope to fall asleep easier so that I could start busy days refreshed and well-rested!

  271. Michelle V.

I’m actually writing on behalf of my mom. What would she do with a better night’s sleep? She is an amazing woman who does everything in her power to help those in need. Every weekend she works with a ministry that feeds the homeless. But her duties are more like a full time job. She’s constantly planning and gathering food items and pet food to feed not only the hungry people, but the hungry animals as well. Recently, though, she’s injured her back and in order to sleep at all, has been sleeping on our recliner sofa. It’s forced her to slow down quite a bit and I know she’d rather be firing on all cylinders. The Tempur-pedic bed and ergo base would be a true blessing for my mom. She’d be rested and ready to make her food pick-ups, plan for the next week, answer the endless phone calls, and still have energy to enjoy her family at home! Thanks for giving her the opportunity to have such a wonderful product!

  272. Donna Hollingsworth

If I had a better night’s sleep, I would not need my midday nap and I would be more productive for my family, job, and the world!

  273. Stacy

I would totally be a nicer person with a good night sleep on a good mattress. We don’t have any extra cash to get a new mattress so I’ve been loading up on good pillows. My husband wouldn’t be so crabby and might enjoy work more and I would feel more productive, because right now our sofa is a better night sleep. A tempur pedic would truly be a dream come true.

  274. Alyssa

With a better night’s sleep, I would be a better wife, a nicer sister, a more patient daughter, and a more cheerful co-worker! Thanks for the opportunity!

  275. Miriam ray

I would wake up soooo surprised!! Haven’t had a good night sleep in so long… I would be a new, brighter, more alert lady!

  276. Annette Arabasz

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I’d savor it! I’d savor the feeling of falling into a deep dream, of letting my body shed itself of the day’s stresses and of waking up the next morning renewed, happy and stretching out in the wonderful bed that’s going to make sure today an awesome day. :)

  277. Jolleen

With a better night’s sleep, I could conquer the world!!!

Well, probably not the whole wide world… But at least I could conquer my own personal world! I would have the stamina and patience that my beautiful children deserve from me. I would have the energy needed to start a morning exercise routine. I would probably not be so grouchy when my hubby sneaks into the shower that I was warming up for myself (seriously, he did that. So cruel, am I right?). I would be able to think more clearly and become a stronger contributor at work, leading to that promotion I have been hoping for.

One second thought, maybe I could conquer the whole wide world. And as conquerer of said world, I would make the punishment for my shower-stealing husband that he bring me breakfast in my brand new bed! Maybe I would let him sleep in there with me… Or not.

  278. Sherry Dickman

What would I do with a good night’s sleep? I would feel rested, ready to face my day of work filled with teenagers! I would have 5 nights of wonderful, restful sleep so that I will have more energy to play with my grandchildren on the weekend. I would feel like I could tackle my flower gardens. A good night’s sleep may make me feel like I am 40 again!

  279. Shari Schempp

I would be able to snuggle my husband at night because we wouldn’t be separated by the continental divide that is in our bed now! Would love a good nights sleep snuggled with my hubby!

  280. Tracy

I would be a better playmate to my two year old daughter. Sometimes I’m so tired that I have a hard time engaging and being an active playmate for her. With a good night sleep I’d have the energy to play dress-up, be the Prince to her Cinderella during make-believe time, and whip up all sorts of culinary masterpieces in her play kitchen. I currently sleep on a futon mattress so a new mattress would be a REALLY big treat for me and would benefit my entire family!

  281. Kim

I would love to get a good night’s sleep. I suffer with arthritis and I would love to try sleeping on this mattress! Thanks for a great giveaway.

  282. jane

Well my mattress is almost 20 years old! It was purchased right before the birth of my third child. My husband thinks that our current mattress is just fine. Seriously, how can a 20 year old mattress be fine? I just can’t convince him to purchase a new one. So what would I do with a better night’s sleep? Well I might feel like completing more projects….

  283. Liane Donohue

Ah sweet dreams in my sleep and smiles on my face throughout the beautiful day! Thanks for the opportunity

  284. Arianne

With a better nights sleep I would be in a lot less pain. I have chronic back pain from being hit by a drunk driver nearly 10 years ago (I was standing on the sidewalk when he hit me). I’ve heard great things about TempurPedic and would love to try it out. Thanks for this opportunity!!!

  285. Jacqueline Cohan

Instead of sheep I count Tempur-Pedics.
When I go to the nail salon I ask for a tempur pedi-cure.
If I get angry I have to say “So sorry I lost my tempur”.
I admit it I am obsessed.
I am longing for a home for my horizontal body and it’s name is Tempur-Pedic!
“What would I do with a better night’s sleep?”
I will wake up feeling the following:
    T…Thankful
    E…Energized
    M…Marvelous
    P…Positive
    U…Upbeat
    R…Refreshed

    P…Passionate
    E…Ecstatic
    D…Delirious
    I…Incredible
    C…Contented

  286. Sharon

What would I do if I won this bed?I’d elevate my feet,my head.My health at 50 is not so nifty. So please be kind and ease my mind and let me win this bed!~Sharon :)

  287. Sue M.

With a better nights sleep from TempurPedic I can put away those occassional “sleep aids” and just enjoy the benefits of a good nights sleep and waking up feeling refreshed, happy, and ready to start the day, the natural way .

  288. Becky E.

My joints would be singing the Temperpedic praises instead of the bedtime blues!!!

  289. Julie D

THIS IS THE COOLEST CONTEST EVER! I’m embarrassed to say that my husband and I have never purchased a new mattress for ourselves. We always take the hand-me-downs from my mother and mother-in-law (for which we are grateful!) There are so many things to buy, including mattresses for our children, that it just never seems like the right time to spend the money on ourselves. My husband especially needs this mattress. He has spent every other night of his adult life sleeping on the very thin twin mattress at the fire station where he works. What an improvement to this life this would be!

  290. Sylvia

My husband really needs this bed. He suffers from chronic pain and this would most likely be huge for him.

  291. Georgia MacDonald

My energy would soar!! Lookout world…I could tackle anything!

  292. monica

With a better nights sleep I would feel refreshed and have a nicer attitude and not be snappy from being sleep deprived!

  293. Monica Young

You have no idea how heavenly a new bed sounds. My daughter and I currently sleep on the old couch and I haven’t personally owned a new bed in like 10 years. I’d definitely sleep better and have the energy to keep up with my three kiddos, which includes one teenage daughter, one 11 year old video game fanatic son and my hyper 5 year old daughter who we suspect has Autism. You have no idea how much of a blessing this would be to win. Thank you so much for the giveaway and entry.

  294. Heather

I’d drag my husband’s 1980’s waterbed straight to the dump!
With better night’s sleep, I could exercise in the morning instead of grumbling over aches & pains. I’d love to have the energy to keep up with my kids. :)

  295. mia

With a better night’s sleep, I would probably try to stop taking muscle relaxers for my degenerative disc disease in my neck. The injury occurred when I was 23 (I’m only 28 now!), but it has affected my life in the most profound way. No more running, popping pills daily, lots of chiropractor visits. A tempur-pedic could help relieve some of the neck pain that I deal with daily.

  296. Gina F

Have more energy to chase my 2 year old.

  297. Priscilla

Oh my, what a wonderful thought – a good night’s sleep. What I miss most with my current sorry sleep is the time for reading.

I have a health problem that keeps me in constant pain, so I rarely get good sleep for even a few hours, much less for a night. Then I have to try to nap during the day because I run out of energy and alertness. I consequently feel that I must make productive use of my waking hours in order to fulfill my share of responsibilities. I can’t allow myself to sit and read when I think I should be working.

With a Tempur-Pedic mattress coddling my painful joints and sensitive muscles, I think I could rediscover the rejuvenation of a full night of deep sleep, the kind of sleep I last knew as a child. And, with that good sleep, I would also rediscover energy and optimism – and the joy of reading. Because that’s how I would celebrate the change in my life; I would READ!

  298. Rachel

With a better night’s sleep I would: Have the energy to get up earlier so my before work routine wasn’t a last minute throw-everything-in-the-briefcase/ workout bag melee and hope this time I didn’t forget my bra and soup. Take voice lessons because apparently no one at my gym enjoys my rendition of “Edge of Glory” by Lady GaGa. Organize my closet thus hopefully finding the matching shoe to a number of orphans that were buried about a year ago by a sweater avalanche. Prepare actual multi-faceted breakfasts on the weekends instead of throwing hard-boiled eggs and pop-tarts at my family. Plant a garden, not let it die, and reap the benefits of it all summer long. Volunteer at the local soup kitchen instead of purchasing canned goods and throwing the bags at the food bank as I drive by so I can get home to take a nap. All of this and more can be accomplished if only I could get a better night’s sleep!

  299. Fallon

hmmmm possibly more DIY projects on top of working my 50 hour work week! sigh what’s a girl to do!?

  300. Amy Chaffin

It’s not that I’m complaining for I am thankful to have a bed, but the thought of a new mattress would be so grand.
I could explain to you our terrible plight. My husband’s injuries, and headaches that keep him up at night. Tossing and turning never feeling at ease. Oh! A Temperpedic would give us some peace.
But I know that there is always someone more in need, but I am thankful for the opportunity to wait and see.
So for a good night’s rest what would I do? Thank the the good Lord above for always making a way, and getting us through.

  301. Laura

I would hopefully have more energy to chase my 15 month old son around!!

  302. maggie

Ohhhh I dream of getting a good night’s sleep! No, wait, I don’t sleep long enough to actually enter the dream stage. :( I have not been able to sleep comfortably for two and a half months since I fell and broke my elbow. In this state I’m not even able to toss and turn.
Last night in the middle of the night the thought came to me that turning over in bed has now become an Olympic event. An entire night’s restful sleep on a Tempur-Pedic mattress would be fabulous!
    Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  303. Leeanne

What would you do with a better nights sleep?
With a better nights sleep I would wake up refreshed, ready to start my day with a postive attitude and face that is capable of expressing joy. I would say, “good morning” to my children and confidently get them ready to start their days. I would work hard all day to accomplish all my tasks at hand and then put on my comfy jammies and retire to a relaxing tempurpedic mattress that would allow my body to truly rest, my mind to escape and all the bones and muscles in my tired body to ease into the most perfect nights sleep. I would continually be able to dream big dreams but have the energy to back up those dreams and watch them come to fruition. With a better nights sleep I will embrace life to its fullest and allow my actions to positively influence my family, friends and the many people in my community that also deserve the best night of sleep that they can get as well.

  304. Alissa A

I would get SO much more during the day! captainliss40(at)gmail(dot)com

  305. Tamera Peralez

A better nights sleep would allow me to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to play. I am pregnant and I have a toddle so good sleep is beneficial to my day. Sleeping better would help me to play and interact more with my son. This pregnant mama is in desperate need of better sleep!

  306. Zandra

    mmmmmm love my husband more…….
Ending those nights of I am just to tired because my mattress is so lousy and I cant sleep well excuse.

  307. Carrie

I’d cry, I know that. I’m tired of waking up tired! lol

  308. Linda V

Keep up with our girls without feeling tired. Mom time is when I get into bed and get to read, so a good mattress is a must to enjoy!

  309. Linda Mundell

Some days I wake up Grumpy and other days it’s best to let him sleep….. :-)
I know with a better night’s sleep, both Grumpy and Dopey are bound to wake up blissfully Happy!

  310. Ranelle

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I would kick that 2:30 feeling’s butt and accomplish so much more during my day!

  311. Ruth Cox

With four small children, one of whom has just topped a month old, my husband and I could definitely enjoy a better nights sleep than we currently achieve on our worn out bed–my sleep deprived self would be ecstatic to hear fewer complaints about neck and back pain from the hubby each morning, and the few hours I do spend in bed would serve me better from a Tempur-Pedic! Thanks

  312. Jennifer_Studio JRU

With a better night’s sleep I would be so thankful that my husband *finally* got a better night’s sleep! We have been enduring our mattress (what we could afford at the time) since we were first married almost 14 years ago!

  313. Andrea

I am thankful to have a job and the things that we have but oh to have a good night or day of sleep would be awesome! I’ve been working 12 hour shifts for 20+ years and the older I get the more difficult it is to feel rested. My schedule is 4 day shifts, 4 days off, 4 night shifts, 4 days off, 4 day shifts, 4 days off 4 night shifts and so on and so on. With a good night sleep I know I could get a lot more done in a day and I would not be so forgetful. Most of all, a good night sleep would be better for my overall health.
I know someone is in need more than I, but thanks for the opportunity…….

  314. Dawn

    Is it a little bit crazy that I can’t even envision a full night’s sleep and how it would feel? How about this: I’d sit up in bed and read before the kids get up and duty calls; I’d have the energy to cook and clean and listen and teach without tiring out or nodding off; and then I’d read myself to sleep again at the end of the day. {sigh of bliss}

  315. Michelle Small

With a better night’s sleep I would be able to accomplish so much more. Would wake up feeling refreshed for a change and deal with my family of six and my job each day.
    rsj2000mrs at gmail dot com

  316. Sharon Duke

I would stop depending on energy drinks to get me through the day!

  317. Rhondi Mullins

If I had a better night’s sleep I’d be more ready to go for an early morning walk on a more regular basis.

  318. Heather M.

With a better night’s sleep I would wake up BEFORE my 17 month old instead of her having to wait for me to drag myself out of bed. With a better night’s sleep I would have the energy to take her for a walk. With a better night’s sleep I wouldn’t need to take a nap with her. With a better night’s sleep I would have the stamina to chase and play, laugh and love, to be a better, happier, more activities mom.

  319. Jennifer from WI

What I’d do with a better night’s sleep is…function :-) I spend much of my night trying to crawl out of the crevice that is the center of our bed :-) While being close to my husband is important to me, bumping into him during the night has caused so much frustration that many nights one of us leaves and goes to the sofa downstairs. We would love to buy a quality mattress, and while we feel certain items of furniture are a necessity, things are always just a little bit too tight for a new mattress. While saying that we have “everything” to be thankful for…there are others that sleep on a sofa, the floor, or even outdoors EVERY night.

  320. Yvette Finlay

Well, it has been 21 years since my husband and I purchased a mattress for our 1 year anniversary. We are the proud parents of 6 daughters ranging from the ages of 21 yrs-12 yrs old. Needless to say, we need our rest to tackle the day- to- day onslaught of hormones and teenage angst. I think if I got a good nights rest I would wake up more alert and ready for the day. I would be a much better mother. Good rest would help me to be slow to anger, slow to speak and quick to listen. And although I may dreaming big…my husband may stop snoring!

  321. Tatum

Mile five of the New York Marathon,
My husband smiles, waving me on.
First stretch flies, how smooth it goes.
    Easy rhythms, heels to toes.
    The second ten, running fast,
It’s almost like no time has passed.
    Passing first, ready to win
    Hardly tired, then cheering begins
Fly by the last sign, finish ahead,
But the sky morphs from blue to red?
The word “FINISH” melts to say “BACKUP?”
Confused, then sad: I’m waking up.
The clock reads only 2 a.m.
Then I know: it’s happened again.
Another dream cut short. Ending untold
Because my mattress is so old.
The lumps and springs cause me stress.
I toss. I turn. Sleep’s done for; unless
I can squeeze my eyes shut, and maybe please
have ten more minutes to finish my dreams?
Now what could I do with a better night’s sleep?
What if I could dream long and deep?
I could finish that marathon, crowd cheering behind.
I could be bold and speak my mind.
I could be brave, and how does it sound
to eat chocolate cake without gaining a pound?
If my mattress was awesome, I could dream away
And wake up ready to face my real day.

  322. gayle martin

What can i do with a better nights sleep?

Just like lots of people i am able to accomplish so much more when i awaken refreshed and ready to go to work. I work in retail and stand on my feet all day long. I always try and give my customers a happy fun experience when they come to my store. I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to sleep on one of your beds in a hotel a few years ago and fell in love with your sleep system. There is nothing like the experience of a comfortable nights sleep and waking up feeling great. One of my plans was to eventually own a Temper Pedic bed. that dream still has not happened so this opportunity would be a great one. thanks, Gayle

  323. Liz B

If Tempur-Pedic promises a good night sleep, even with a 1-month-old, I’m going out to buy one right now (unless I win one)! Especially these days with a newborn, I KNOW how important a good night’s sleep really is. At this time in my life I’m excited if I get 4 hours in a row, and it’s important that those 4 hours really count. I think a Tempur-Pedic would promise just that. With a good, solid night’s rest I can just feel the range of motion in my neck and back returning to normal. I’d be happy to set my alarm to get an early start on the day since I know I’d be refreshed and ready. I’d start out with a morning jog. I could give you a run down of my ‘perfect’ day, but really I imagine I would feel energized and therefore productive and happy. My 18-month-old would be so excited to get to have a longer round of ‘chase’ and my husband would enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal. You can’t put a price on feeling great due to a good night’s rest!

  324. Karen

With a better nights sleep, I’d dance and sing with the children each day. I’ll laugh and teach them to play. I’d cajole and I’d whisper for it makes them listen better. These are the things I do each day but I’d be so much better with more sleep and they in turn will do even better and then rule the world with love, patience and kindness for they will have been taught with these gifts.

    Thanks!

  325. Patricia Christianson

    A better night’s sleep!
A better night’s sleep would make me dance more, sing more, smile more, listen more, work more, play more.
Oh! how I long for a better night’s sleep!

  326. Pamela Palmer

Oh, what I would give to get a better night sleep. I would hopefully have more energy to help the at-risk teenagers that I work with every day. Since I have gotten older in my 50’s, I don’t sleep all the night thru. I would love to win!

  327. Sally P

I’d love a better night’s sleep. Would use the extra energy to spend on my family :)

  328. Debra Hewitt

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I would wake up well rested ready to take care of my three children and work. I would no longer have an afternoon slump, and I would look forward to going to bed at night. Our current mattress is terrible, so it would be great to win.

  329. Denise V

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? Kiss the coffee machine and coffee stores good bye!

  330. Beckie M

Wow! Truthfully, it would be life changing. Our mattress is 20 years old! We don’t know how awesome it would be to get a better night sleep. For starters, my husband would have fewer neck and back pains. I would be happier because he would be happy. That would make everyone happy. Because if mom’s happy, everyone’s happy!

  331. Natalie W

Although I work overnights and could use an awesome bed like this, I would rather give it to my parents! My mother was in an accident years ago and she still has major lower back issues because of it. I hear her say all of the time how she would love one of these beds but is out of the budget. Most of the time my parents sleep in different beds because of my father’s tossing and turning which in turn wakes her up and hurts her back even more. Not only would this bed be a great to give them to sleep better but to also allow them to be able to sleep in the same bed again as a married couple. I would love to be able to tell them that I won this for them and see their smiling faces because of it. Thanks for this opportunity!

  332. Lori Halton

    The breeze from the fan
    tousles hair, otherwise still
    a warrior rests.
    The cadence of his
    rhythmic breath banishes all
    unquiet muses.
    Written word his sword
    slices cleanly through bramble.
    His rested mind soars.

  333. la-la-lisa

Oh my. What would I do? I’d probably drink less coffee and get more done!

  334. Adrion

Like Courtney, it has also been my dream to own a Tempur-Pedic bed. However, while it would both bring pain and joy, if I won the bed, I would give it to my mom. She suffers from a back disease that often wakes her in the middle of the night, leaves her in constant pain and prevents her from doing many of the things she loves. With a better night’s sleep she would be able to paint more pictures, go for more walks and spend more time in her garden making things grow; activities many people take for granted, myself included. Just knowing that my mom is sleeping more comfortably, will afford me peace of mind and a better night’s sleep. With no more “waking up on the wrong side of the bed,” I would spend more time appreciating the little things; I would paint more pictures with my mom, go for more walks with my mom and spend more time with my mom in her garden. We only have this one life, and a better night’s sleep would help my mom and I live it.

  335. Karen M.

Wow – I would feel so much better with a new temperpedic bed! My current bed is really old and with my psoriatic arthritis I need a better bed. Currently I don’t sleep well, and all day I am tired. Know I would have so much more energy with a good night’s sleep and I could get so much more done!

  336. tara clancy

I would be able to run after my toddler and clean the house at the same time!

  337. Jaimie

Amazing giveaway! I’ve been dreaming of getting a Tempur-Pedic mattress since I first heard of them. What would I do with a better night’s sleep? Well, I have an autoimmune disorder that is exacerbated by stress, and not sleeping well is a recipe for disaster for me. I’ve found that good sleep is the foundation for being able to stay healthy while managing all of life’s hurdles and responsibilities. I am nearly finished with my undergraduate degree in microbiology and hope to eventually get a PhD in immunology and do research, and that involves a lot of work and long hours, so good sleep will definitely help me accomplish that!

  338. Kara

Ahhhhh….. a new mattress. Our mattress is over 10 years old and has two valleys where we each sleep. We so need a new mattress but it is just not in the budget right now. With a new mattress I would attempt a cartwheel or a somersault as my shoulder and neck pain would hopefully disappear :-). I would have enough energy to be on top of my laundry, enough patience to be a better mother, and enough endurance to finally lose the last 10 pounds of baby weight that I keep talking about. And MAYBE I would even feel good enough to give up Dr. Pepper, cause we all know that stuff is terrible for you.

  339. Lori

Boy howdy, I’d love me a new bed! Great giveawAy!

  340. sheri

Let me just say that a Tempur-Pedic mattress would make our lives so much better! My husband and I currently sleep in a bed with what we affectionately called the 2 “ditches” made by the wear and tear of a mere 2 1/2 year usage on a bed with a pillow top and memory foam (a certain ditch is deeper on one side of the bed than the other, but I won’t name names). A Tempur-Pedic bed would help us wake up happier and more well-rested without any aches and pains from sleeping in potholes. Plus, we could roll off the bed when we get up instead of climbing a hill to get to the edge!

  341. Matt

With a new mattress I know that I wouldn’t wake up with the aches and pains that I currently do wake up with. No aches and pains would hopefully allow me to be more energetic in serving those that require my assistance.

  342. Tyler

My wife and I would start the day by saying “Thank you Tempur-Pedic”. And with a better quality of life I would be more effective at returning the favor to my patients. As a registered nurse I often teach my patients that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. One can not teach that principle with power unless they are living it themselves. Each activity during the day would be greatly enhanced with a fantastic night’s sleep on a Tempur-Pedic bed.

  343. Leslie Carbine

My mattress is so old and worn out that it takes me thirty minutes just to get comfortable at night. Curious, I wondered just how old this hand-me-down mattress really was. To my amazement, I found that the tag on the mattress had the actual delivery date… Brace yourself… September 1975! No wonder I get up feeling like I’ve been through crisis after crisis when I wake up!:)

I decided that this is my year. I need a new bed and I’d love to own one. I’ve been through alot in this lifetime and a good night’s sleep is a priority for me.. I’m a dance teacher and a writer and I want to be the best I can be. Nothing is more important than a good night’s rest on the best mattress there is… a Tempur- Pedic!

  344. Liz

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? Now that is the question I can only dream of answering. I’m not sure what it feels like to not wake up ten times a night…either because of the children or the terribly lumpy bed. With a better night’s sleep, I could be a better mom, wife and friend! I could feel good and not be grumpy. Please oh please pick me:)

  345. Wendi

I don’t get too many hours of sleep so quality of sleep is a blessing. With a better night sleep I would be able to keep ticking in the afternoon after I have homeschooled our two children, taken care of breakfast, lunch and needing to make dinner, done some laundry and cleaned up the house, run the kids to their activities, studied for my 2 small group Bible studies, been a Mom when called for, and taken care of the toddler from across the street while his mommy and daddy are off working, paid the bills and the multitude of other daily tasks. Because whatever doesn’t get done needs to get done after the kids go to bed so that means less sleep for this wife and mommy. What a blessing a better night sleep is.

  346. Tina Sawyer

with a better night’s sleep, i would be able to be a better mom!

  347. Kay taylor

Oh The things I could do … My husband and I are recently married and sharing a queen sized bed with a sunken middle – to which we roll into each night. To get out of bed, we have to climb UP to get to the edge!
We have actually talked about a temperpedic bed but we are building a house on our farm so talks have ceased about a bed.
Did you notice the word “farm”? Yep, a working farm….need I say more about what a good night’s sleep would do for both of us? We have acres of mowing, a large garden, animals to keep, fences to mend and lots of timber to cut. I’m tired just typing it all!

With a better night’s sleep I’d make sure to fit in as much as possible each day! Maybe cook a magnificent breakfast to start the day off right and then workout for over an hour without wishing I was still sleeping. After, I’d take my dog on a long walk around the neighborhood or on a nearby hiking trail to get him tired enough so he can enjoy a nice nap in my bed that afternoon (of course I would share the wealth of comfort with my best bud)! I would meet up with friends and enjoy the afternoon exploring my new neighborhood and city – possibly a museum, park or local white water rafting and zip-line adventure. Lastly, I would have enough energy for a nice, long meal with friends and family to enjoy their company and get their thoughts on what I should do with tomorrow. That night, I would lay in bed planning a trip to Europe with my two best friends until I fell asleep dreaming about that same adventure. The next day, I’d get up and do it all over – with no back aches and no nap needed!

  350. Suzanne

Have lots of back problems and my old mattress doesn’t help. Would love to have one that would let me sleep through the night!

  351. lindsey

My beautiful grandparents gave me a hand-me-down mattress when I was 16, and I have been sleeping on it for almost 16 years since. . .With a better nights sleep I would sleep earlier and wake up refreshed, no more springs pushing against me. When my daughter crawls into my bed at night I would not feel her tossing and turning. I would accomplish so much more during my day!! I have tested the tempurpedic mattresses but always feel there is something more important to spend my money on, I compromised and bought a tempurpedic pillow set. They are so amazing I had to give one to my best friend. Oh the multitude of things I could do with better sleep, the thought is so overwhelming.

  352. Josie Ramos

I would be SuperMom if I had a better night’s sleep. Well, not really SuperMom, but I’d have a clearer head to be able to reach out to each of my four children without confusing names, sport schedules, or, heck, even birthdays. I have four children in very different stages–teen, pre-teen, pre-school, and baby. At any given time I’m fetching anther glass of water for my pre-schooler’s bedtime, nursing my teething baby for the umpteenth time at night, helping my pre-teen with her homework before bed, or having long talks when I tuck my teen in for the night.
I can only imagine what sinking into a nice comfortable bed would be like after all that…maybe I’d stop confusing my children’s names in the morning at our breakfast table.

  353. Catherine

I would love to win the Tempur-pedic bed so that I can sleep a full night. I’ve been diagnosed with Lupus, arthritis and fibromyalgia. I sleep in a recliner, then the couch and finally move to the bed. I’ve heard it was amazing for people with the same medical problems as me. Oh, to have a good night’s sleep in one place.

  354. Sherry Daut

I’ve been known to frequent mattress stores to test drive. My husband will try a few out, give his opinion and move on. Wait! You can’t possibly judge a mattress by stretching out like a mummy on display! You have to really give that baby a workout. I’m a sleep on my stomach kind of gal, so I start there. Flipping to my side, I see if my sore hip can get some comfort. Yep, feels pretty comfy. I tell hubby to take a walk, or maybe browse sounds better. He knows the drill. First, explain to the salesperson hovering close by that I will be awhile, go ahead and take your lunch. I have extensive notes on many mattresses, I really don’t have any new questions. Hubby returns too soon, I give him the stink eye. I know he is hopeful I will make a decision today. So, I leave it in your hands. I know the perfect bedding I’ve had my eye on…..but, I need to shop around first.

  355. Nicole D.

I think, at this point, I would do ANYTHING for a good night sleep. I am 16 weeks pregnant with our first child and I am trying REALLY hard to have a good nights sleep, but the discomforts of pregnancy seem to be getting in the way. OH YEAH, and my husband and I are sleeping on a VERY old full size mattress. You see, my husbands father is a auctioneer and we got our bed from the house a woman who had just passed. Lucky me! So this bed is really old and kind of creeps me out! I would do anything to have the Ergo Adjustable Base so that I can stop sleeping with 10 pillows under my head to relieve the heartburn every night from the little baby. I know that in a few months sleep will be hard to come by, so a new tempur-pedic bed would help me dream a little easier and stop having nightmares about the sweet old woman that slept in the bed before me. :)

  356. janet

What i wouldnt give for a better nights sleep.I have been in two accidents and my spine is injured in many places throughout my spine. My husband is sick with a liver disease and he does not ever sleep well at all.Due to his illness his whole body hurts always. We can not afford a new bed.We have been in to the temper pedic store to test the beds and we loved the cloud surprem. But now you have the temper pedic simplicity and i am sure the soft one would be awsome also!!!I would love to win this bed for us.It would be awsome to tell my husband we won a temper pedic bed!!I would even give proof of my husbands illness just to win a new bed it would be so nice to see my husband get some good sleep.Hope to win. Thanks!!

  357. Shannon Russ

I would be a happier, more energized, less groggy person and probably wouldn’t have a backache all of the time like I do now. I wake up in the morning with very bad back pain every single day. Right now, our sleeping condition is not a good one.

Currently, my husband and I are sleeping on a mattress on the floor because when my daughter was a baby she had severe acid reflux and cried endlessly for hours all day and night and would not sleep in her crib. So, we ended up bed sharing with her and it was soothing for her to sleep next to me and for safety (so she didn’t roll off of the bed) we ended up taking our bed apart and giving the box springs, headboard & footboard to a friend who was moving and needed it more than we did at the time. Now, my daughter is 2 and just recently started sleeping in her own toddler bed, which is great!!

Unfortunately my husband and I are left with an old 16 year old mattress on the floor and it is extremely uncomfortable. I am a stay at home mom for now until my daughter goes to kindergarten so we are living off of one income and can’t afford to buy a new mattress right now. It would be a dream come true to have this and thank you for giving everyone a chance!

  358. Melissa

Just finishing off a two year mission in South America with my husband has meant that we’ve grown “accustomed” to the aches and pains of old dilapidated hand-me-down mattresses, fleas and mosquitoes running rampant, dogs barking and sirens flaring all through the night, giving us little to no sleep and definitely nothing near rest.
That said, we are so looking forward to changing this unfortunate custom of poor rest, and ready to be renewed by what a good night’s sleep can do, not only for the two of us, but also for the little bump on the way! With a better night’s sleep I can nurture this growing little one, and we as a family can continue our state-side ministry with even more fervor!

  359. Erica

I might just go to bed a little earlier to enjoy the amazing bed!! If I had more sleep, I would be more rested for all of the busy, busy days!!

What would I do with a better nights sleep? I can already tell you because I had the opportunity to get a tempurpedic a year ago. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and the doctor recommended a few things…meds, exercise and a new bed. Well, I didn’t want to do meds so the first thing I did was research new beds. I settled on a Tempurpedic. Best decision of my life. I went from sleeping two hours at a time to four hours and am now sleeping six hours. I do not wake up when my hubby gets up (the bed doesn’t even jiggle), and love the warm cuddly cocoon feeling I get when nestling in.

Now that I am more rested, I am exercising daily, able to complete projects such as painting my bathroom cabinets, and awake without a headache that I use to have daily!!

Some nights I want to read but my husband wants the lights out. I go into the spare room and after about 15 minutes my hips hurt. Oh how I’d love a Tempurpedic in the spare room. I’m sure then I’d have enough energy to redo that room too!!

  361. Angie

Omg…a better night’s sleep…that would be amazingggggg!!! I just graduated from law school last week and I’m getting ready to start studying for the bar. The stress alone has kept me up MANY MANY nights and is likely to keep me up many more, so I need this bed, lol!

The most important thing that I would get out of a better sleep is being able to get up earlier and get more things done in my day. I usually hit the snooze button a million times and then I’m rushing around to get out the door. I would like to be able to have good, relaxing sleep so I can get up, make a healthy breakfast, do some exercise, and then get my day going. I feel like this would help me deal with any craziness the day throws at me.

Regardless of who wins this contest, your blog and this giveaway are fantastic! My husband and I are trying to buy a house and I always read through your posts for design ideas. :)

  362. marjorie lavender

I would sleep so well that my bones wouldn’t hurt and I would be in a good mood and go to work happy.

  363. Judy

What would I do with a good night’s sleep? I’d wake up with a smile and all the optimism I’d need to take on the day <3

  364. Kim c

For me to get a good nights sleep all the planets must align. We all know how many roles we each have to cover in the care of our families, cook, housekeeper, career woman, accountant, financial manager, entertainer, wife, mother, daughter, aunt, niece, caregiver. Without a good nights sleep I am pretty useless……with a good nights sleep I am wonder woman!

  365. Deb Martell

Oh my bed my bed my bed!!! It is old!! I’ve put every possible combination of mattress pad on it to give some cush. We’re hanging in because it’s no where near the top of the list….4th kid going to college this fall, a limping refrigerator, peeling paint, vinyl floors that no longer come clean, yada, yada, yada! Having spent literally months in a hospital bed (but now I’m healthy, HALLELUJAH!), has made me grateful for any bed short of a pallet. But oh, to sink into a Tempur-Pedic, what rest for this weary body. What would I do with that you might ask? Wake up ready to love on this broken world. You see, mostly because of my cancer past, I come in contact with the hurting, cuz they know I’ve hurt. My desire is to hug and love and look into the eyes and give hope…hard to do if you can’t keep your own eyes open! So, you bet, I would love to sink into that sweet bed and get the best sleep of my life :) Besides, I turned 50 in January…nuf said.

  366. Stacy

With a new good nights sleep I would be able to leap out of bed each morning without pain in my back & legs. I have MS & also broke my back in 4 places & my neck in 2 places. Enjoying life would be new motto – enjoying life with a refreshing nights rest & energy in spades to get through the day. Thank you for hosting such a wonderful giveaway!

  367. Barbara H.

So many deserving people and only one Tempur-Pedic – it’s a sad tale. I dream of waking in the morning full of energy and with a spring in my step. It’s been a long, long time since that has happened. I’d keep my house clean and picked up and my gardens weeded, with energy to spare for interacting with my community. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  368. Lisa

I am only 27 with Fibromyalgia…yikes! Sleep is vital for this condition and my husband and I are sleeping on a mattress that is 15 years old (lol I’m really not kidding) I wake up and hurt every where! So what would I do with a good nights sleep and this fantastic bed? Prolly act like a 27 year old again!!! Oh- the endless energy and possibilities!!! Thanks for this opportunity!

  369. Sharon Fumia

I would still wake at 5:00 am, but with a been-cozying up-all-night-with-my-hubby-and-my-tempurpedic smile, instead of, “It’s morning…did I really sleep?” grimaces. And then I might actually exercise in the morning…instead of at night…tossing and turning to find that ever elusive comfortable position for sleeping bliss. After a nice brisk walk, I will breakfast with a smile…get in my car…with a smile…enter the school building with a smile…without coffee…sit at my student’s desks as I use to, and pray for each one to capture one great thing to use the rest of their lives. I would teach with more gusto and creativity and laughter. I would grade papers with more useful comments than, “You can do better” or “Good!” With a better night’s sleep…my day would only be HALF over after the school day is over…there would be so much more of me to spread around…at church, at home, more of me for my husband, my grandkids…Wow! Now that’s an amazing thought!

  370. Jen P.

What’s a good night sleep???!!!!! Let’s see. My oldest is 10, so that means a good nights sleep hasn’t happened in a very long time! I can’t imagine what would happen if I had a full night of slumber! Perhaps, I would wake up looking 10 years younger….or bust out singing “bluebird on my shoulder”! Maybe I would just skip around and whistle show tunes all day long.
I think everyone in my house hold would make an official holiday for the first night of real sleep that I receive…..peace would unfold!!!

  371. Susan

Oh wow, we have one and it is wonderful. I have back problems. We don’t have a good bed in our camper a new bed there would make our camping trips more enjoyable.

  372. Shari~Rain into Rainbows

With a better night’s sleep I’d be able to more easily manage my disease, and on the bad days when I can’t get out of bed, I’d be at least more comfortable.

  373. karen

I would hope I would be more productive!

  374. Laura

Rejuvenating sleep in a Tempur-Pedic bed would be such an investment in how I show up powerfully in the world.
I believe we are all here to contribute; and what I know about myself is that when I become tired and depleted, I survive rather than thrive. Being well-rested allows me to really LIVE: love, contribute, connect, be grateful. As a wife, daughter, sister, friend, soon-to-be auntie, non-profit executive, author and volunteer I expect a great deal from myself everyday. Having a new Tempur-Pedic bed is a way I could give to myself, so I have an abundance to give to my life.

  375. Kathy

I would be a better dinosaur. Without a good night’s sleep, when I am playing “dinosaur” with my children, I often give up the chase and retreat to my cave for a nap. As you can imagine, the prey are not satisfied with this storyline. But a tired dinosaur can only do so much. So with a better night’s sleep, I would roar, chase, and fight with the best of dinosaurs. And our cave would be a happier place.

  376. Matt

I would make some exciting biscuits. You see, breakfast in our home is cereal or frozen waffles nearly every day. And don’t get me wrong, this is good food and I am thankful. But when you wake up tired, there seem to be very few options for breakfast, and it can become a little monotonous. So with a better night’s sleep, I would wake up with the determination to take on the challenge of making a better and more exciting breakfast, starting with homemade biscuits. After that, the possibilities would be endless.

  377. Emily

I would be a better mom and wife with a better night’s sleep! :)

  378. dee schmidt

Winning a new bed would be a dream come true. Our old bed is so lumpy and uncomfortable I toss and turn all night. Had fractures in my spine 3 years ago and still in pain, A new bed would sure help. Thank you!

  379. MaryBeth

I would love to wake up at 7am and realize I had slept through out the night with out
waking at every toss and turn and also wake up at every toss and turn of my husband.
A complete nights rest is a long going dream!

  380. Margie Pousardien

Instead of counting sheep, I’d would talk to the Shepherd and fall fast asleep on your wonderful Tempur-Pedic bed!!!!! I’d wake up in the mornings refreshed and ready to start a new day!!!!!!
    Margie Pousardien

  381. Michele Laramay

My husband and I would stop complaining of aches and pains if we had a new bed. Ours is old and we hate it, but can’t really spring for a new one right now. What a blessing htis would be!

    • Michele Laramay

      *this….oops

  382. Courtney

Winning a new bed would be wonderful! My poor husband is a very light sleeper and doesn’t get much sleep each night. We currently have a full size bed that my husband has had WAY too long. Oh the things we could get done with a good night’s sleep! We would wake up refreshed and ready to go. There are always never-ending chores to do around the house and in the yard…or we could forget we are responsible adults and go away for the day without feeling tired mid-afternoon and having to come home. Basically we would feel our age instead of like our grandparents. : )

  383. Laura V.

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? I would use my new-found energy to embrace the most important things on my to-do list – the ones that usually get shoved to the bottom of the list because I’m so tired I can only deal with what I “have to” do each day. These are the things like having a tea party or a “makeover party” with my four-year old daughter, or taking a leisurely walk with my husband after dinner. For once, I wouldn’t fall asleep on the couch in the afternoon – I would be able to enjoy the special moments that make life so beautiful!

  384. Shiella

I would wake up refreshed and ready for the day! Out to the garden bright and early to hear the birds sing while pulling weeds and gathering produce for the day.

  385. Tricia harris

With a better night’s sleep, I could quite possibly change the world! Really, I could! Starting with my little corner of it, that is. The corner that currently holds my people, my home, and our dust mite-laden, skin cell-collected, lumpier than a load of rocks, mattress of ten years. You know. The one with the vertical speed bump that’s formed right down the middle, dividing us into right and left lanes. The one we merely dream of a good night’s sleep on, but sadly awaken to reality and achy backs. Maybe that ache is change a comin’ on! Beautiful, restful, uninterrupted Tempur-Pedic change! The change of a better night’s sleep that would put a spring in my step, a smile in my heart, and add an inch to my height since I’d be walking upright and pain-free! That kind of change could bring out the best in all of us! It would be contagious, unstoppable, global in fact! Think about it. More sleepers would want to seek this comfort than a Nike mob after shoes! After all, we are known to others, by the mattresses on which we sleep. Yes! With a better night’s sleep, I could change the world! Thank you, and may God bless sleepers everywhere!

  386. Doreen

    SLEEP!!

Tossing and turning all night make for no sleep. Add a snoring husband and two sets of twins…..well…..
    Thanks for this opportunity!

  387. Staci

What would I do with a better night’s sleep? Honestly, I don’t know. I have been living with an aching back and neck for so long I really don’t know how I would act with a better night’s sleep. I would hope it would give me more energy to create a warm and inviting place to come to. If I won this bed I would HAVE to decorate my bedroom so I could show it off to everyone that came to my home!!!! (And that is something I have put off for 10 years, because I don’t know how I want it decorated.)

  388. MJ

With a good night’s sleep? Well, I wouldn’t be able to complain to my husband every morning that I need a good night’s sleep. :) I am a notoriously light sleeper and EVERY sound wakes me up. Maybe I could reform my light-sleeping ways with one of these fantastic beds!

  389. Hilary

I’m an upcoming senior in college working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. A better night’s sleep would leave me feeling more refreshed and energized in the morning, allowing me to better take on my busy (and oftentimes stressful) schedule. Sleeping on a Tempur-Simplicity Mattress would provide me with great comfort and relief after those late nights of studying and working on homework.

When school starts back up in August, I will still be living on campus and let me tell you–the mattresses provided by my school are not the most comfortable. If I were to win a Tempur-Simplicity Mattress, not only could I use it in my dorm room, but I could continue to enjoy it wherever I end up after graduation. This would provide me with a better night’s sleep for years to come, affording me with the energy to achieve great success in school and eventually in the workforce.

  390. Beth

    What would I do
    with a better night’s sleep?
    I’d climb every mountain-
    No matter how steep

    Housework? No problem.
    Chores? Bring them on.
    I now wake refreshed.
    I sleep all night long.

    Tossing and turning,
    A thing of the past.
    My bed is a dream!
    Sweet slumber, at last!

    What would I do
    With a better night’s sleep?
    The answer is blissfully clear
I would laugh, I would smile
    then dance for a while
without backaches I’d be full of cheer!
    I’d do cartwheels, twirl round
I would jump up and down
The kids would think me quite funny
I wouldn’t care what they think
    cause without sleep life stinks
and who wants a life that is crummy?
    Get sleep!

I would spring off my side of the bed and skip merrily to the kitchen to make the morning Java. Of course, we would no longer require the morning caffeine because we would be all fueled up from the peaceful sleep that our new luxurious Tempur-Pedic bed provided. I would finish the chores in a matter of minutes. My hubby would happily tackle all of the items on his “To Do List”. This would allow us to have more recreation time. We would feel young and vibrant. We would start hiking, traveling, and even zip lining. Oh! What a nice dream!

If I could miraculously do anything I wanted with a good night’s sleep, I would give it to my husband! He doesn’t sleep much at all. He is a pastor with a pretty full plate. He tosses and turns all night and usually gets up to read, pray and think most nights. I’m not saying those aren’t good things to do but I feel like he wouldn’t have as much trouble staying asleep if he could just get comfortable enough to fall into a deep sleep. A new mattress would probably help!

Loosely to the tune of MJ’s “Beat It”:

I try to sleep but I don’t know if I can
I toss and turn all night – I’m tired, man!
    The fire in my back
Makes it hard to hit the sack
    Need a ‘Pedic
    (Tempur–Pedic)

What would I do if I could just sleep at night?
A rested body would be outta sight!
    This baby in my womb
    Would benefit so soon
    From a ‘Pedic

Oh – how much we could use a
    ‘Pediiiic (‘Pediiiic), ‘Pediiiic (‘Pediiiic)
    We would love a Tempur-Pedic!
    Waking up fresh and
    Feeling alright
    No more stiff neck or
    Leg cramps at night
    With a ‘Pedic

A good night’s sleep would help me get up at dawn –
Which means my boy will have a better mom!
    More able to rise
For the feedings and the cries
    With a ‘Pedic

Without a doubt, a bad night of sleep
Affects my pregnancy (I often weep!)
    Need energy to be
    A supermom indeed
    Need a ‘Pedic

Oh – how much we could use a
    ‘Pediiiic (‘Pediiiic), ‘Pediiiic (‘Pediiiic)
    We would love a Tempur-Pedic!
    Pregnancy’s crazy – more so when I
    Can’t sleep at night, so
    It’s time to try Tempur-Pedic. ☺

    With a better night’s sleep…
I could see the sun rise for the first time in years.
Feel refreshed and alive when my feet hit the floor
Ready to embrace, not dread, the new day
With all its opportunities and challenges
Eager to get up and begin again this amazing journey called life.
    With a better night’s sleep…
I could be more alert, more energetic, and more alive
    Be patient with my family
    Kinder to strangers
Laugh more readily and love more deeply.
A better night’s sleep really is a better life.

With a good night’s sleep I would know the joys of being a grandmother!

When I’ve slept badly and not had enough sleep I am tired, and therefore irritable. When I am irritable I tend to snap at my children. When I snap at my children they begin to believe it’s ok to snap at others. When my children believe it’s ok to snap at others they grow up to be bullies. As adult bullies they will be unable to hold a job, will be in and out of trouble, and will be unable to find suitable mates. With no mates, they will live in my basement, snap back at me, and live unproductive lives. As a result my life will end without ever having known the joys of being a grandmother. Tempur-Pedic, can you help? Grand-babies are high on my priority list!

Happy Wife = Happy Life!!! Yes , that’s right I would love to give a Tempur-Pedic bed to my wife! She has wanted a Tempur-Pedic bed FOREVER and almost bought the Cloud once she got her first job, but due to wedding and house expenses she held off. Since we were married two years ago we haven’t been able to save up for one (due to other expenses). She has always had a bad back, due to playing sports growing up. Then a couple years ago she had an accident to the face and now she now has TMJ which causes her pain in her jaw and neck during the night. So adding that along with her back problems she constantly tosses and turns in the middle of the night. Having a better bed would allow her to get a good night’s rest…..which in turn would allow me to sleep as well.  Another important reason is we want to start a family soon and a better bed will allow her comfort during pregnancy. Thanks for your consideration!

I dream of a good nights sleep on a Tempur-Pedic mattress… First of all, if I had one, I would NEVER, EVER leave me bed. EVER. Of course, this being the case, I would have to bring all of my creature comforts to my bedside, such as my desk, my hotplate, and all of my electronic devices. Out of necessity, I would need a way to make a living, and the next logical step would be to star in my very own reality television show, showing what else? Me living from my temper-Pedic bed!! Thank you, because now all the space I need is for my bed, and my mortgage will be VERY reasonable!
