Seasonal Holiday Ideas

Having a blog is kind of like having a house. It periodically needs housekeeping, organization and you have to clean out the closets. After over five years of blogging several times a week, I am realizing there is a lot of content in this blog that is challenging to find, even for me! So to start making things easier on all of us, my lovely daughter and assistant Kylee is putting together something new! We now have project galleries that will make searching for topics and and ideas much much easier.

YAY! They look mighty spiffy!

What is a project gallery? Well, I’m glad you asked! Basically a gallery is a page with thumbnail images featuring content that is related or grouped together. It looks almost like a linky party. You can see what it looks like in the photo above. If you hover over the thumbnail on the real project gallery (the one above is just a screen shot so it won’t work the same!), it will pop up a description of what the image links to. Then if that is what you are looking for or you want to see that post, you can click it and the post will open. And if that isn’t what you wanted, you can look for something else in the related gallery.

To start out, we put together a Seasonal & Holiday Gallery page with several galleries lined up on the page, including galleries for Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Winter related content. We’ll add posts and galleries over time. Soon we will also have other kinds of galleries as well! We are very excited about that!

For now you can find our first edition Seasonal & Holiday Gallery right here, or you can find it via a link in my sidebar. Once we get even more organized, I’ll fill you in on even more ways you can find content. Have fun checking out the new galleries!
