Coffee Table Styling with Emily Henderson

Thank you to One King’s Lane for sponsoring today’s post!

I love love love puttering around the house.

Mixing different accessories is so therapeutic —  you don’t have to take it too seriously since it isn’t something permanent! If you don’t like something, you can just move it around.

I was inspired to do a little coffee table styling this week after watching the great video above by fellow blogger and designer Emily Henderson! I had so much fun trying out various shapes and textures to see what unique things I could come up with for my table.

Emily has some helpful tips in the video and, of course, she is adorable so that makes the video extra fun to watch. She has partnered with One Kings Lane to host this exclusive video, “Secrets From a Stylist” that walks you through her recommendations on how to style up your coffee table, including tips for using different elements, shapes, and texture to create a unified look for your coffee table. The video is short, so take a peek!

If your table is normally filled with toys or just a place for your feet or newspaper, break out a bit from the norm and shop for something NEW!

I’ve been enjoying online shopping more and more, it is so much easier to find great accessories online than where I live locally. A One Kings Lane membership is FREE and you can do all your shopping while still in your jammies! I’m all over that, sipping coffee in my jammies and shopping? COOL.

Go see what YOU can find at OKL!

Hi! And Happy Friday! This was quite a helpful post. I would like to kind of understand the “rules.” Sometimes things I do work, and sometimes they don’t so seeing an expert telling you simple ideas… so helpful. I think my coffee table will look awesome by the end of the day. I have been collecting trays and now I know why. HA! But I do need the little box. Oh yeah, One King’s Lane.

I love puttering around the house and making it pretty too. Our coffee table is usually bare now with two young kids around, so thanks for the inspiration to make it functional and pretty today.

I love trays on coffee tables. My living room is too small to accommodate a coffee table. I’ll just ogle others’.

I love the idea of a tray to hide all of the “clutter”. Great idea!

Cute video. I use trays on my coffee table because then when someone wants to place a plate of food or their feet on the table, the tray can be moved easily. Great tips from Emily.

Our coffee table is my old hope chest I got when I turned 18. One day I will get a proper one. I also love trays on coffe tables. I have a flat wicker basket with ikea magazines. Boring!
