I love the coffee cup display holder! I have a lot of the pretty attingham cups from anthropologie and have been looking for something like that. Where did you get it? ebay also?

Yes, in the eBay article there is a link to a variety of mug trees! I got mine at World Market a couple of years ago!

Timely post! Need to at least decide on new floor color before I can make decisions about white paint color for cabinets and choice for countertop and that’s a way off. In the meantime, I’m constantly working to “happify” my oak cabinets sitting on peachy pink tile floors. Decided Monday I needed to move the coffeemaker back to the small counter between the range and the sink. Having it across the room on the long counter beside the fridge meant hefting a heavy pot of water with inevitable drips onto the floor. Only reason it was there was because it was black and figured I’d replace it eventually with a white one. Monday was my birthday and I figured I deserved to gift myself so now I have a cute little white one. On the search now for accessories.

Hi! Love the coffee station idea!! We are currently shopping for an espresso/coffee maker.
    Something under $1K. Any suggestions?
Also, we have white subway tile, what color grout did you use? It looks great!

Melissa, demolition will be starting in a couple weeks, of our kitchen. A requirement of the new kitchen is white subway tile, with gray grout. I think our one wall that sports two freestanding shelves will remain, and if we extend the subway tile to that area (we’ll see as we go along), your coffee station with shelving above raises the question: did you–or your builders–drill holes through the tile after tile was up? Or did you calculate precisely beforehand where screw/nail holes were needed and drill them into the tile so that if a tile cracked, another could be used? I’m concerned about the tiles cracking when drilled into. I do like your appealing coffee station!
