Have a great weekend!
Love these ideas and this idea for a post! :) Am painting my gourds this year! I just found some awesome street tacos I’m making tonight! We have food trucks here and I am obsessed with street tacos. My husband laughed when I went to Whole Foods and bought 50 corn tortillas. He’s like, “Fifty, really?” :)
Oh yum that sounds delicious!!! :-) I would eat a few of those fifty :-)
You can also make baked chips from the tortillas, if you have any left.
I’m so excited to paint some pumpkins and gourds!!! Love fall!!
WAIT a minute… Oh my Gourd! What a silly yet neat little idea! We have this weird bumpy squash thing on the kitchen counter… And I think I know what I plan to do to it this weekend :D
:-D
The pumpkin patches are starting to appear and they may have gourds to buy. If they are not dry, you can always leave them natural this year and paint them for next year. I’ll have to check my supply of gourds and paint to update my fall display.
One year I found some in the shape of very large apples – those were painted red, but it was a bit too bright, so I used brown shoe polish (the type dad always used) and buffed them up with the shoe brush.
Gourds are great. I like the turquoise and the cashew energy bites look delicious.
A hundred yrs ago when I was in school, haha, in El Paso, Tx every single day for lunch I would get a Burrito, they were not like you get these days, they were long and skinny and you could hold them easily in your hand to eat, not messy at all and you talk about flavor, but they came off a food truck. I have tried for yrs. to duplicate them, but no luck. The best Taco’s I ever had came from a little stand in Bakersfield, Ca. and no luck in duplicating those either, I have come close, but not quite. I’m like you I love Taco’s and Burritos from food trucks and little stands. Unfortunately no such thing where I now live
