Creating and keeping a home is a process of figuring out what works for you and finding contentment in the season (and home!) you are in. With fall schedules and back-to-school right around the corner, I thought I would share a few downloadable worksheets I put together to help you consider and achieve your goals for your home. Now is a great time to start getting organized! If you haven’t yet had a chance to read my first book Love the Home You Have, now might be a good time to pick up a copy as a companion to these worksheets and as a encouragement along the way.
You can find printable, downloadable copies of the worksheets via the links below:

Notice I mentioned the magical word, FALL? :) Are you looking forward to a return to fall routines or are you still enjoying summer too much to let it go?
Yes! Autumn!!! As much as I love love love summer – I have found myself running around much more and tending to the home much less. Autumn will be a good time for me to slow down and focus on the goodness of the indoors :)
Autumn is my favorite season!
Aaaaaah! The wonderful word FALL! I love fall, the smells, the food, the crispness of the air, the colors, the scarves, the feeling of thankfulness and harvest, pumpkin patches, hay rides, apple cider, pumpkin lattes…I love it all! In fact, I simply declared that it was fall mid-last week and started wearing scarves. (This works for me because i’m in an air-conditioned office. I did wear a fuzzy sweater today though, and that didn’t work so well when I found myself sweating walking from my car to the store on my lunch break grocery run.)
Forever an Autumn Lovin’ Girl!!
Summer is way too short — the fresh vegetables from the garden, relaxed schedule at work, house projects. I can wait for autumn. Jo @ Let’s Face the Music
I am still enjoying the summer as it has been a beautiful one at the NJ shore. But the last few days have been very hot and I do feel a longing for warm days and cool nights when I can open my windows once the sun goes down. The ads for fall decorating and back-to-school also have me thinking about refreshing my home well before the holidays.
The fall is beautiful here in Oregon, near the Columbia River Gorge. But this summer is wonderful with all our girls home, a new puppy, fresh blueberries, friends visiting, dinners on the deck, gorgeous sunsets, hikes in the gorge, farm fresh eggs from the neighbor kids. Fall….. can wait…. it will be lovely too!!
Thanks for the cute downloads.

I’m finding myself not quite ready to let go of summer yet – probably because we had so much rain this year, so there hasn’t been much outside time. However, fall has always been my favorite, so when it arrives, I won’t complain. We’re doing two big remodels this month (kitchen and main bath), which is keeping us busy inside, too. It’s the perfect time to start new organization/maintenance plans. We’re excited!
Never one to rush the seasons, I AM a fall lover! My absolute favorite time of the year…..somewhat summer- like during the day and a touch of foolish temps in the evening like winter with a different riot of colors than spring in summer and the coziness of winter. Best of all the seasons!
Yay! I’m on the Home Purpose Statement Challenge today so this is perfect! Thanks so much!
You are welcome :)!
Love, love, love autumn. No air conditioning, windows open, clean air with no humidity, windows open, brilliant blue sky, cool nights with windows open, fall colors, autumn leaves, windows open. You get the drift that I love having windows open?
I can’t wait! Summer has been a bit scary here in California with the drought. So as it eases into Autumn, my favorite season, I am also breathing a sigh of relief that summer is over and there is still water coming out of the tap. Looking forward to the days of orange and yellow.
