I‘ve really been in a cozy winter mode lately. Are you? As I said during my Christmas house tour, I think it’s all the remodeling going on around here and the cold temperature outside. But whatever it is, I just feel like at the end of every day lately I need to curl up in a really comfy spot with my furry blankie and take deep breath to relax (which I’ll be honest in the winter time it feels like I should be heading to bed about 4:45pm, ha).
I hope you’ll feel inspired, too, as you look through the cozy winter rooms in the post today. Light a fire, grab a blanket, turn on the Christmas lights. Cozy is always a good way to end the day.
Thank you all for the kind comments on my kitchen update post yesterday, I promise I’ll respond to all of your questions or comments as soon as I can. I can’t wait to fill you in on more of the progress, I love sharing this adventure with you!

I’d love to be getting into cozy winter mode…but it’s a little hard when the temps are in the 80’s here in south Florida! Although the neutral rooms are very beautiful, if I lived in an area with a gray winter, I’d need more color inside A LOT more color… but that’s probably just the Florida girl in me.
I too live in Florida, but I do love nesting this time of year. It may still be warm here but as it gets dark early it feels a little like winter. Trying to practice all things Hygee. I’ve changed out my curtains in the living room from white lacy ones to ones with a warm plaid color. Red plaid throws and pillows give it a cozy feel paired with the tree lights and other tiny white lights and candles throughout the house. I have soft flannel sheets on all the beds (LOL – but we do still run our air conditioner with temps in the 80s). My request for Christmas presents this year are for all things that will make me feel cozy like new PJ’s, fuzzy socks and a faux fur throw from Pottery Barn.
Gosh these rooms are all so gorgeous, and those bunk beds – I wouldn’t want to get out of bed!
Definitely feeling In the Cozy Mood! Temperatures here in Indiana are frigid, but there’s beautiful snow outside and moonlight shining white across the frozen silver lake. Perfect for a fire, a cozy throw, and some hot tea! It’s a marshmallow world in the winter….
I love the simplicity of it all! That’s my kind of decorating. Thank you for sharing…
