So many have asked me about our paint colors in our home that I realized it was time that I put together our paint color resource page.

I sometimes confuse myself trying to remember all the paint brands, colors and shades of whites or grays or blues we’ve used in different rooms over the years (or even in this house, ha!).

Hopefully this post will help ensure I give out the correct paint colors and make it easier for you to find colors when you need them.

Does selecting paint colors stress you out?

I know that picking out paint colors can be a challenge, but I don’t think it has to be overly intimidating. To try to ease some of the mystery and stress and give you more confidence in the selection process, I put together 5 Rules for Choosing Paint Colors. You can read the 5 Rules in my article on eBay here. Enjoy!

Scroll down on this page to find the specific paint color for each room (or door) in my house (so far)!

  1. this is great info.
I have another question, you have a leather sofa, and I would like to know
how it is having one with animals. I would dearly love to have one,
and am hesitant because of my pets.
    Any helpful advise is appreciated.

  2. EVERYTHING IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!! franki

  3. Love this post!! We are in the process of choosing an exterior color for our home and are caught between a softer blue and a deeper blue. Can I ask your advice on using darker, deeper colors on an exterior? That’s the color that is making me excited and happy, but I’m nervous to go bold. Thanks!

  4. Before we moved into our current house, I read in an out-of-print decorating book, that for choosing paint colors, it helps if you find something in your home that you love and pull colors from that. A favorite blanket, a painting, etc. I had a sunflower border in my kitchen that I loved so much that I also put it in the kitchen here. So the paint colors here are yellow, green, and a neutral brown. They all go together beautifully. For the particular colors, I prayed. Seriously! lol.

  5. great advice. You make it sound so easy. Thank you for the 5 rules!

Loved the post today, great info. Would you be able to tell me where the two large botanical prints near your Dutch door are from? Thx! I am enjoying your new book…..great coffee table book to browse through and pick up valuable tips!

  7. The most important part “Colors in photos can be misleading and hues can change drastically in different settings, so always test color in your own space.” We agree big time. Thanks for sharing!
