Create a Healthier Home

Hi, friends. I’m so glad that you found your way here. I have an important and truly life changing message share.

Our home is supposed to be our family’s refuge. It’s a place where we want to feel refreshed and reenergized. Yet while we all aspire to have a cleaner, safer, more beautiful place to live, studies have shown that the average household now contains over 62 known toxic chemicals due to products we bring into our home.

The products we may buy to help keep our kitchens and bathrooms clean, products we put on our bodies and use to wash our hands and clothes, are often full of toxins that can actually harm us.

Many products we purchase to clean our home or for personal care are linked to asthma, illnesses, cancer, hormone disruptions, reproductive issues and chemicals that harm babies’ developing brains. Yikes!

Recently a research study from George Washington University found that 45 toxic chemicals are commonly found in house dust! My goodness! If toxic chemicals are in our house dust, I can’t even imagine how many must be building up in our bodies. That might inspire us to dust more, but even more importantly, we need to feel inspired to get the chemicals out of our house.

Sadly, I know first hand the havoc and heartache chemicals can cause. From mystery symptoms to years of undiagnosed hypothyroidism, to depression, anxiety and panic attacks to miscarriages and food sensitivities, I’ve gone through some difficult times as a result of things I had no idea were impacting my health. Trying to regain health was frustrating.

I’m so happy to say that I finally feel better than I have in a long time! I am still learning and certainly don’t have it all together yet, but each baby step in the right direction has made a significant difference in our home.

This is why I am so passionate about sharing my story. I want to help people. I don’t want any other family to feel alone in this process.

These chemicals most certainly have an effect on our health, whether we realize it now or not. Fortunately there are things we can do right now to begin to eliminate the chemicals in our home and make it a safer place for our family.

It can feel overwhelming to even know where to start to get rid of all the unhealthy substances in a home, but what I’ve been working on and what I encourage you to do is to just dive in by replacing those chemical-filled every day products with cleaner alternatives.

The good news is that we do not need to live with fear or regret. There are many things we can do right now, today, to support our health. Each decision matters.

My family started using Young Living Essential Oils several years ago for to replace so many chemicals in our home. We have seen such a difference in our home. Now we use essential oils for everything from making own cleaners to immune and endocrine system support.

One-by-one we remove chemicals and toxins from our home and make daily decisions that can help our bodies start to function as they should. As we’ve seen an increase in our health and vitality, I’ve grown more passionate about sharing what works for me and for our family.
