Q. Do your Studio Taupe walls turn purple at all?
A. No, the gray walls (Studio Taupe) in my dining room do not appear purple to me in any light of the day. More often than not, they look greenish gray but they do change with the light. I always tell people to test your paint first in your own lighting. Paint can look entirely different in different parts of the country and in different homes, so don’t rush out and buy 10 gallons of paint just because a blogger recommended that color. Always test it first!
Q. Is all Antique White paint the same color no matter where you buy your paint?
A. Antique White is not the same wherever you buy it. In fact, it can be different EVEN from the same paint store if they have changed their formula over the years. If you want a specific color, it is best to use the paint formula from the can rather than the paint name. Refer to the question above on Studio Taupe, always test colors in your own home before you buy too much!
