Even though my 31 Days of Autumn Bliss is over doesn’t mean celebrating the season is over! There is always a new season to embrace! It is time to transition to Thanksgiving and the holidays! It is November! Yay!
So to kick off the Thanksgiving season here in the U.S., I’m excited to announce I will be guest judging over at The CSI Project this week! Now if you haven’t yet discovered this gem on the internet, let me tell you it is FUN! They post a creative challenge on a specific theme to readers each week. You have the first part of the week to create and link up a post on that theme. This week’s theme is Thanksgiving!
Need some inspiration for the upcoming Thanksgiving season? Me too! It is super rainy and gray around the NW this morning — so I’m curled up on the sofa with my coffee getting pumped up with ideas. It could be a long gray season around here but with fun inspiration and projects, I’m looking forward to it.
Thankful Garland
As I’ve mentioned. I love making simple garland for each season. When I saw Jen from Tatertots and Jello and The CSI Project’s Thankful garland, I was totally smitten. I love it. It is way fancier than I have attempted before but it is so stinkin’ adorable I might risk trying it. She has a garland tutorial here.
Note: These photos are Jen’s, not mine. But I will be copying her ideas because I love them.
Even more precious is that you can let the kids write what they are thankful for on the leaves! How adorable is that?

Chalkboard Chargers
And her chalkboard chargers, goodness! I love. My head started swirling with ideas when I saw them! Year round fun. Jen shares the how-to for the chalkboard chargers right here.
Now if these two projects don’t inspire you ladies for Thanksgiving, I don’t know what will!
I hope some of you will participate this week in The CSI Project! Head on over right now, look around, and see what this is all about!
