T his room, bath and patio is where I will be spending a lot of time in the coming days! It is sure nice being able to look outside and see the sunshine! Beats looking at a hospital parking lot.
You might recognize these as rooms from my old house. How observant of you! I am not in Washington. I was back in Portland so my son could go to his favorite day camp when the emergency room visit occurred. So, now I am confined to this house at least until my follow up visit at OHSU hospital next weekend. This is the only room in the house with a bed (since the house is for sale) so thank goodness I have at least one comfy spot to recuperate!
The rest of the house only has a random chair or two, but the rest of our belongings were moved out when we thought the house was sold in May. That means all of our kitchen utensils and other necessities of daily life are gone! It is strange being here without my things, but strangely familiar and comfortable.
My husband and kids will be back in Washington all week but my parents are staying with me (sleeping on a blow up bed — now that is a big sacrifice!) to watch over me and bring me food. I like being waited on hand and foot so I could get used to this!
As promised in the previous post, if you’d like to read more behind the scenes details, you can now click right here on the word INSPIRED! to read more! I didn’t make a button yet, but eventually there will be a button in the sidebar to read my random snippets of life. You can also find a link right now to the category at the top of my banner, the last button says “INSPIRED!”
Thanks again for all your well wishes! It means a lot to me.
