Nesting ...

Fall Nesting, Winston style.

Thanks for linking up to the Fall Nesting Party and checking out all the great links, 35,000 clicks on the links last time I checked! YAY! That is some serious clicking.

Did you see these ideas from the Fall Nesting Party { via The House of Belonging}? Covering a pumpkin with sheet music? {HEART that idea!}

Nesting ...

So clever and creative you all are! So many many ideas.

But I’m not going to talk about fall any more, until October. At least I don’t think I will.  I might. A little. But I’m going to pace myself. I will, however, be sharing a few of your inspiring ideas from this party during 31 Days of Autumn Bliss! So keep the ideas coming through the weekend!

I’ll be back with the Lisa Leonard giveaway winners, I haven’t forgotten! Be sure to check back later this weekend to see if you won!

What are you up to this weekend?

Oh that pic of the snuggly dog, just makes me want to snuggle up under a blanket and read a book with a cup of tea. I just might do that! Football starts here with USC playing. “LIFE” has begun for the men in my family. :)

Winston is sooooooo sweet all snuggled up! I hate I missed the party, but I’ll sure enjoy grabbing a Diet Coke and browsing all the links!

Can’t wait for October to see what you ladies have got in store for those 31 days!

awww Winston looks so yummy & cozy. My little westie like to snuggle down like that too. But her favorite position is on her back with all four legs sticking straight up- she looks like road kill-its hilarious!

Winston is a smart dog. Gotta love an intelligent canine.

If he just had a book snuggled next to him, it would be perfection. There’s nothing I like better in Fall than to take a short walk or hike and then just sit in the crisp, sunny weather reading for a while. That’s what I’d like to be doing this weekend but, rather, I’ll be snack mom for my son’s soccer team, giving a little service on a church project, and trying to put my dining room and living room back together since they are finally painted (well, SHOULD be after touch-ups today).

    *sigh*

    Enjoy the Fall blissdom everyone!

2nd coat of paint to the lake house greatroom. And, if there’s time… sewing a new curtain for the kitchen door. Must keep busy! Getting things done makes me feel good.

I love that pumpkin!!! What a great idea!!! I have to go and see how she did it.

Anyway…what am I doing this weekend? Great question!!! LOL I am starting my Fall nesting today and steal a few moments to take a peek at some of the posts in your Fall Nesting Party!! Maybe I’ll take a few pictures and add my own! Hmmm…Thanks for the “permission” to start Autumn early, Melissa! LOL I love it!

Then tomorrow our little family is going to “Patriot Day” at one of the parks in town…there will be great speakers, the giant blow up bouncers for the kids, music, we’ll have a picnic dinner and then enjoy the fireworks display.

Praying the rain stops so that “Patriot Day” doesn’t get rained out!

Oh my gosh, what a cutie pie Winston is!! We have something similar happening at the house, only it is in the shape of a wheaten Cairn Terrier! I keep campaigning for a Westie brother for her, but the husband is not budging.

That dog is adorable! I’ve resisted my children’s plea for a dog for almost a year (we’ve been in a townhome–no yard) but now I want one–exactly like Winston! ~K
