Inspired Christmas {Decorating With Green}

Green is my favorite color around the holidays. Adding a little touch here and there, whether through greenery or accessories, makes everything feel so warm and festive!

Inspired Christmas {Decorating With Green}

Our latest green addition to our home is our Christmas tree! We took Jack and Lily with us to pick one out this week. They had a blast sniffing every tree while wearing their festive sweaters.

Today I rounded up a bit of green Christmas decor inspiration!

    I am still in love with my Red, Silver, Green and White color scheme. I’ve used plaid for years too, and find that this year, finally, I’m on trend! (grin)

    I mostly love to use greenery and lights and some plaid. It all works together beautifully.

    I think the green looks especially pretty against white and brown. These images are so inviting… I especially like the green at the base of the white candles. Classy!

    I love the green plates on the wall and in the hutch! Green is my favorite color, so I am kind of loving your whole post! By the way, I am unable to comment on your post from Chrome (which is primarily what I use), I have to switch and open your page in Safari.

    I love using pinkish reds and spring greens. I love your Joy to the World print. Where did you get it?

    I love the different ways you have used greens for Christmas. A few years ago I incorporated the bright line green into my traditional Christmas reds and greens. I love the updated and cheerful look it gave everything. One year however, I set my table with a forest green tablecloth and couldn’t stand it! I had to immediately change it as it felt and looked so dreary to me. Perhaps I needed to work with the other elements to make it look more elegant. Everything can be improved on.

    Green is my favorite color as well. The pic with the pears is my favorite because that’s in the range of my favorite shade of green, but all the pix are fresh and inviting. Jack and Lily are super cool even if the only green in that pic is the tree.

    I seem to be adding more green to the home this year, but I’ll add red, silver and gold accents.

    I found a new tree – a skinny, green tinsel, prelit tree. It came in a flat box and is a long spiral that was a breeze to assemble and I hope I can collapse it and store it in the same box. It’s in the kitchen and I’m decorating it with mini lace coasters, different colored teabags and mini kitchen utensils.

    I love what you’ve done. Green is my favorite color, too! I love the banner garlands! So simple and effective! I also love your black & white floors. The little pots you have the candles in are so pretty. Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas!

    I try to use red, white and green. I stay traditional with my colors and add to my decor every year. Eventually the whole house will be decorated.

    Having just repainted my dining room in a neutral shade, I decided to stay with “woodland” colors- especially a rich, chocolatey brown. Seems so warm and cozy.

    I’m just a traditional girl. I love to see how others use non-traditional colors in their homes for the holidays, but I just can’t seem to move away from red, green, black, and white myself. Yesterday I went out in our yard and cut a bunch of pine branches and I’ve been decorating with them liberally.

    I use the color green as an accent during the holidays mainly in wreaths and garlands. My holiday color scheme changes every year but the one accent color that stays constant is the color green. By the way, the holiday pictures are so inspiring. Thanks for sharing Melissa and have a wonderful and blessed holiday season!
