I L-O-V-E this list!!! I’ve started doing many of these over the past few years and it has taken just about that long to make them become actual habits that I do without thinking now, but the piling of papers to be shredded “later” is one of those things I just can’t seem to get around! Thanks for the great ideas!!!
Now- If I can just get my husband to start doing them too… ;P
Thank you! :) (I know the feeling hahah!)
I’m almost done reading “The life-changing magic of tidying up-The Japanese art of decluttering and organizing.” It reads like a story and is amazing and funny in parts. You do this once and you will never have to tidy up again. You just put back what you use. I plan on doing it as soon as I finish the book. The author, Marie Kondo, actually got into this when she was a kid in school.
Awesome tips! I definitely agree with you on filing paperwork. I always make sure to organize my papers before I get too lazy.

Great post! I despise decluttering, I love it when it’s done, but getting started sends me spiraling!
Number 14 is my personal favorite. I stay pretty decluttered everywhere but my office — I seem to be incapable of de-piling my desk once and for all!
