53 Ways to Eliminate Clutter and Chaos

53 Ways to Eliminate Clutter and Chaos

Ya’ll, my favorite season is getting so close! :-D I can’t hardly wait! I’ve always been a HUGE fan of fall because it’s a perfect season for all things home, and particularly a really good time for decluttering and getting organized before the holidays.

It feels so great to LET THINGS GO! Today I’m over at Life Storage (the new name Uncle Bob’s Self Storage) with a round up of some of my favorite motivational tips for decluttering and eliminating chaos around the home.

I hope you’ll feel inspired and encouraged. Read my post here.

Have a great day!

Love your blog but sometimes there are just too many click troughs. This one was a bridge too far!

  2. Great timing! When the kids head back to school, my goal is to take a chunk of days and pretend I am moving. I want to empty out EVERY cupboard, closet, chest, etc. and really clean out! We’ve been in the same home for 15 years now and I’m starting to feel the effects of ‘collecting and keeping’ for so long! Your article is good motivation!

    • That’s so great, I’m glad. You can do it! I’ve moved a zillion times and that’s been my excuse for clutter (changing houses means I’ve collected so many different things from different homes that don’t necessarily end up working in the next house!). It takes determination to learn to JUST LET GO!

    • @Kelsey. BRAVO!! De-cluttering once a year is a great way to keep the storage monsters away.

  3. Hi Melissa! Perfect timing for me as we are getting ready to move in less than two months. We are downsizing, so I will be letting go of a lot of things as I’m packing. I’m pretty much of a minimalist, so it’s not so hard for me. My husband, though, needs a little more convincing that less is more. :) Thanks for all the tips!

  4. It’s so easy for clutter to sneak up that it can be overwhelming. Instead of letting it stress you out, consider using a few of these strategies to get the situation under control! It’s the best way to feel at home in your apartment.
