One easy way to mix patterns and have flexibility with your style is to use reversible bedding! That way you get the fun of having a new look for your bedroom, without another purchase.
I have a reversible duvet cover I often use in my bedroom as well as reversible Euro shams. I’m always so delighted when I can just switch sides for an entirely different look.
Reversible patterns offer versatility in other ways, too. Often there is a larger scale pattern on one side with a smaller on the other, or a solid on one side with a pattern on the reverse. It’s nice to sometimes see both designs together, so try casually folding or layering a reversible quilt on the bed so you can show off both sides at once!
By combining coordinating duvets and shams with fun sheets and throw pillows, you can effortlessly achieve a layered bedding / mixed pattern look that can change according to your mood every day.
Why get stuck in a design rut when you can mix up your style with ease?
