If there was one room that I could design over and over again…it would be kitchens. They’re my favorite! I love looking through kitchen inspiration photos and focusing on every little detail of what the designer chose for the cabinet designs, the lighting, the countertops, the ceilings, tile, flooring, the layout, accessories…all of these elements combined can create such beautiful unique spaces!
Whenever I’m hunting for design inspiration, it doesn’t matter to me the size of the room, or if I think it’s more “grand” than I can achieve with my own home or budget. I gather up inspiration from all kinds of places and find ways to incorporate what I love into my own home! Even if at first glance I don’t love every detail of a space, I like to look closer and analyze what isn’t my favorite and what I’d do differently if it was my home. That practice has helped me to better hone in on my own personal style over the years.
