Hello world!

Hello! My name is Melissa, and I am a wife, mom of three, and I am an interior design addict. To support my addiction, er, passion, and allow me frequent access to other people’s decorating dilemmas, I created The Inspired Room™.

This is both the name of my decorating consulting business and my blog. It will also be the title of my book in 2008. Maybe after that I will think of other titles for new ventures, but for now, The Inspired Room™ seems to suit everything I want to do.

I have to admit I have never blogged in my life. Never! I am a first-timer. So, please forgive me as I am sure to fumble my way through these early posts as I learn the ropes.
