Sweet Escape: Little Glass Houses For You And For Me

by Melissa @ The Inspired Room on May 30, 2008

Another super busy week has come and gone! Eek, how time flies! I am always SO READY for my escape on Fridays! So for today, in my dream world I am escaping to a little glass house. Is that a fairytale or what? I’d sit out there every morning, sipping my coffee, feet up on a footstool. BLISS! Ok, who am I fooling with the “every morning” thing. I could LIVE in this house ALL DAY. Who needs a main residence if you have something this adorable in your backyard?

Have a beautiful and relaxing weekend, dear friends!

Oh, and if you have a chance, do a drive by for us so we can see all the loveliness in your world!

Oh my goodness. That is the epitome of total bliss. You and I are feeling the same groove.

I’ll have my coffee strong and black. And, maybe a croissant and fresh blackberries.

Is there anything I can get for you? Maybe you would like a chocolate croissant.

I saw this in the magazine yesterday. I was standing in the middle of GagMart and I said OUT LOUD….”Omigosh, I could live in this thing.” It could be my own biosphere!

Love it, love it, love it.

You guys are cracking me up! If ONLY we could hang out by that glass house and the pool this weekend. All we need is the glass house and the pool. Well, and some fruity drinks with umbrellas. UGH, IF ONLY!!!

Hi my sweet friend! Janet, at Housepeepers, told me that you were doing a drive by feature. I just so happened to do a post today about one of our towns’ oldest neighborhoods with some homes being registered as Historic Homes of our town. So check it out and you can link this post if you’d like. It will be fun to see homes around the world on Tuesday!!

I love this glass house. Dontchaknow I’d have a huge surplus of Windex on hand! Oh, and don’t throw any stones either!

Have a great weekend! Our son is coming home tonight so we will be having a blast for the next three weeks!!!!! yahooooo!!!

xoxo

Hi Melissa,

I truly cannot complain about where I am right now, as I gaze out upon the majestic Pacific ocean, but that pool house is gorgeous! Let me know when you will be hanging out there for the day;) I’ll bring the stack of magazines and a box of yummy chocolates, and we can sit and giggle all day long.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Hugs and lots of love,
Debbie

I have always had a fascination with conservatories– the old, English, Victorian kind… and this would do quite nicely, thank-you! My favourite building at WDW is the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom. Architectural bliss. (Everyone else loves the Castle, but the CP is where it’s at for me!!)
Hope you’ve had a restful weekend, Melissa!
