Beautiful Giveaway

I have always admired Lisa Leonard’s beautiful jewelry. I’ve seen it all over blogland and have been smitten by it every time. I’m one of those frugal girls who doesn’t spend much on jewelry for myself, but the thought of having a very special keepsake with my kids names imprinted on it just makes my heart melt.

Beautiful Giveaway

A personalized piece of jewelry like this would be such a special gift for any mom, grandma, friend, wife or YOURSELF! Every time you’d run your fingers over those names or special words you’d be reminded of someone or something you treasure.

Today Lisa (who is also one of the contributors to (in)courage) is giving away THREE $50 Gift Certificates to three lucky winners for Beautiful Life Friday! What a happy surprise to get to do a giveaway for you all today! It just feels like Christmas!

All you have to do is leave me a comment here telling me which piece you’d choose from Lisa’s website if you won and if you’d keep it or give it away as a gift! And you can add up to three extra comments if you mention the giveaway on your blog, twitter or facebook.

Hello! This jewelry is lovely- I think I actually remember seeing an article on Lisa in an old “Victoria” magazine, and that was years ago. I would get the “thin sterling cuff” for my mom and have my siblings and my name engraved. With all of us kids generally going to the four corners of the earth these days, it would give her a sense of our love always near her.
    .-= Sarah´s last blog ..Enjoy =-.

  7. Angela Kerr

Hi Melissa. What a great giveway. I love the family tree necklace and I would definitely keep it for myself. I am really into family trees and genealogy, so I would love one like this with the names of my hubby & I, and our 2 kids on it.

All so beautiful! I would choose the Forever Necklace, and engrave it with my mom’s name…she passed away when I was 12, but this would be a great way to keep her close always! (I’d obviously keep it for myself!)

Totally selfish and a bracelet gal…I want the first piece above with all 4 of my boys’ names engraved.

Thanks for the giveaway. I love Lisa’s jewelry.

  23. Lindsey

    Oh, pick me, please!

My favorite is the little birdie one. So cute!

  24. Cathy B

How beautiful! thank you so much for the review and the giveaway. It is appreciated much! She has some beautiful designs. I would definitely choose the thin sterling cuff and have my nickname for grandma put on the inside(for when I pass it on to the little ones), but on the outside put words of inspiration. I would also love to get one for my grown son. My prognosis isn’t good from an inoperable spinal tumor, so I have been looking for something simple like that to leave in remembrance.( of course I pray for healing moment by moment, but I also want to have Gods wisdom as I walk forward believing God for His healing touch.)…I think a mans solid thin silver bracelet like the ladies would be a great gift. ( or silver dog tag type inspirational one!)

  25. Jeana

I love the “Mama” necklace. I love the inscription and even though I am 37 I still call her that. I would give it to her as a gift. She pushes me to be my best everyday! No one believes in me more!

  26. tammy

oh my she is an artist, many of her pieces really touched my heart, while I’d love any of them for myself, I’d chose the sterling ring for my sweet husband. It’s been so long since I’ve had the money to give him anything, and last year his wedding ring had to be cut off of his hand and it was ruined. This month will mark our 20th anniversary, and I’d love to gift it to him.

thanks for a chance to win

  27. joanne

Beautiful…thank you Lisa! I would l.o.v.e. the bracelet and I would wear it non-stop. A bracelet is the only piece of jewelry that I wear as I cannot wear rings due to a kidney problem, so I don’t wear a wedding ring. I would love a special bracelet with my hubs/my name on it to have and to hold on to our special day…36years ago!

.-= Debbie´s last blog ..Pray for My Sister =-.

I have no chance of winning this; I love so many pieces, I can’t even decide which I’d choose! I’m a life coach and linguist, and believe with all my heart in the power of words to shape and empower our lives. I adore symbols, too – my home is full of hearts and birds. I’d want to customise something to make the piece a powerful symbol of all my values and everything that matters most to me.

I turned 50 a few weeks ago and my husband and I celebrate 25 years together next year. We’d planned on a US tour to celebrate both events but the credit crunch has changed the flow of things. Instead, my husband stuck some rolled up bank notes onto a card spelling out the word LOVE. He told me to spend it on something that made my heart sing. I’ve bookmarked Lisa’s site as I think I just found the perfect site to buy something with LOVE as well as money!

Thanks for showcasing Lisa’s art, Melissa.

Maybe order a second one for me—the grandma?? Sounds like a good idea….

  42. Heather

I’ve adored Lisa’s work also….it’s so simple, timeles and poignant. I would love the have the “open circle bracelet”, add my son, his wife and their two boys to it and give it to my daughter-in-law for her birthday. She’s gone through a rough time and they don’t have alot of money so that she can’t buy beautiful things for herself. She’s an amazing mother and I would like to honour her that way.

It’s my link to my absolute favorite people in the world and I’ve been looking for a way to represent that on a daily basis. I think this would be the perfect way to represent my family!

  111. Teri

I love her jewelry. I gave one of her necklaces to a friend after the death of her daughter, it was beautiful.

If I was to get something, for me, I really like the open circle bracelet. That and a few of the necklaces ;)

  112. Melissa

Love so many-that sweet daisy cuff is amazing!

  113. Danielle

I adore all her work. If I had I my pick, I would choose the teeny tiny initials necklace. It would be a beautiful way to represent my family…

  114. christine

cream freshwater pearl earrings and the baby’s first spoon would probably what I’d pick.

  123. Jenn

Would give it to my mom, as a grandmother’s necklace. She is way to hip for the traditional ones. I think I would choose the itty bitty heart necklace… but it is so hard to choose.

Either way I am sending a link to my husband so he will know I want one for Christmas!!!

I just found her site the other day and spent forever just admiring her work! I would have to say that It would be a tough choice between the Fly Free necklace and the Mama necklace.

I’ve spent far too much time ooh’ing and ah’ing over Lisa’s designs this morning. Wonderful stuff!! How can you choose just one thing?

I suppose I’d want to get the Sweet Sister necklace for my baby sister – we’re 12 yrs apart in age, but close as can be, despite the nearly 600 miles separating us.

I LOVE the Open Circle Necklace. She does absolutley amazing work!! I bought a necklace for my mom this past mother’s day and it turned out gorgeous. Thanks!

  135. Cella

I would pick the “jumble of charms” necklace. My friend recently lost her 21 year old son in an accident. This is the second child she has lost, as her first born died from complications at birth. I would give the necklace to her with names of all five of her children, to include the precious 2 who are no longer with her and her husband.

Honestly I would have to pick several and just keep breaking it down until I got to one because her designs I have been “hearting” for some time and never felt I could justify spending the money on myself, so I would be selfish and keep it for me. Oh yes I would.

Love Love Love the open circle necklace!! I would love to have one with my kids on it!

  142. Andrea

It is so hard to choose. And I think I may give it to my MIL. They just decided to move closer to us so she can get to know our kids better. I love that and would love to give her something with their names on it. I am thinking the Thin Sterling Cuff bracelet or the Oval Monogram necklace.

  143. Kerry

I think I would get the open circle bracelet and greedily keep it for myself. I’m not a Mother’s Ring fan, and this is WAY more my style!!

  144. The Lady of the House

OOoh! I would choose the initial (“M” for our last name) necklace. We are just starting our family – we have one boy and one on the way so maybe later I could get their names added or do a different piece but WOW! what a treasure.

  152. Wendy

I love everything! The standard necklace is still a favorite. Ü

This is beautiful jewelry! I would choose the “mama necklace” to give my daughter and perhaps for my granddaughters. Our family has been shaken with the death of my husband–and I am searching for a special remembrance of some kind–something tangible that they can hold on to. The family searched everywhere for any little remembrance of his. I would want them to have something of mine.

  157. Heather

I love Lisa’s Jewelry! I have a couple of her necklaces and they’re beautiful, and so wearable! I blogged about this, so here’s comment #1. :)

For giving one away, I’m torn between the “Friendship” necklace, which I would give away to my dearest, closest friend, who has been having a bit of a difficult time lately, and the “Little Feet” necklace, which I would have to decide which of my other two closest friends I would give it to – one is expecting a baby girl, the other is a midwife.

  158. Shannon Strong

Oh – how to choose just one? I love them all, but would probably choose the initial necklace. Love it!!

  159. Rachel

I really like Lisa’s jewerly. I like the open circle bracelet. I would keep the bracelet and put my children’s names on it.

  160. Eileen

I would choose the starry hearts necklace. It is beautiful. But, it was hard to decide because they are all so pretty.

  161. Alyce

Oh I adore the “Mama” necklace! Its a great reminder of all I am on days when I am just struggling as a mom!

  162. Heather

For my first choice for something for myself, it’s definitely the Leather Cuff bracelet. For some time now, I’ve wanted a leather cuff bracelet, that I could have text added to it, and this bracelet is almost exactly what I envisioned. The problem is that I haven’t been able to decide what words I want to put on it. I’m terribly indecisive, and the word needs to be “just right”.
.-= Heather´s last blog ..(All photos by Lisa Leonard Designs.)For almost two years I… =-.

  163. Heather

My second choice is the “Fly Free” necklace! I’ve loved it since she first introduced it. I love the bird, the birdcage, and everything that it symbolizes. It’s beautiful!

  164. Amanda

I love the baby spoon, and the engraved ring. It is all beautiful though!!
    .-= Amanda´s last blog .. =-.

  165. Becci

I’d give the single tag necklace to a cousin that just lost her mom to a 3-year battle with ovarian cancer.

  166. Suzanne

I’d be happy with anything she’s made. Really. But I think I’d want a keychain for my husband. Or the family crest necklace.

  167. Arielle

Those are absolutely beautiful necklaces, I can’t believe I’ve never seen them!

I would choose the ‘itty bitty hearts necklace’ with the initials ‘s’ and ‘l’ in honour of my wonderful parents.

  168. Heather

The third one to decide between would be the “Family Crest” necklace. As soon as she posted it, I thought it would make a lovely setting as a necklace for my characters from my fantasy story. I’d probably customize it with an “L” because both of my main characters first names start with “L”. I love the way the crest is so delicate.

(I hope I read the post right, that you would get 4 comments total if you blogged about it? I’m quite tired at the moment, so hopefully this is all okay.)

  175. Dee

Wow – so many to choose from. I would get the Family Tree – both of my daughters got a tatoo of a small tree ( I wish they had just gotten a necklace!!!) after the deaths of their grandfather and great-grandfather to remind them of their heritage.

I adore Lisa Leonard’s jewelry and have have been dreaming of owning a piece for a while now. I would love any of her items, but if I were to win this contest I would have to choose something for a friend whose mother is dying. My favorite is the sterling ring with my daughter’s name in it. She is in first grade…all day. For six years she has been my constant companion, lunch date and shopping buddy so I’m not quite used to doing those things solo. The ring would be a reminder that she will come home and I’ll be able to hold her little hand just a while longer. Thanks for the chance to win.

  182. Sunny

I would choose the family crest necklace, I just love it.

  183. Autumn

Her designs are so lovely and sweet. I really adore the “sweetheart tree” necklace, the “fly free” necklace, and the necklace with the heart and the words from the ee cummings poem: “i hold your heart in mine.” Beautiful!

  187. Roz

I’d chose the thin sterling sliver bracelet. I seem to keep losing my silver bracelets so I’d keep this one for myself. Then in the best of all worlds. I’d buy the open circle bracelet for my daughter and also one for myselg

  188. Kristi

I love all of her stuff, but I think the sister necklace would be great for my sister’s birthday this month. I also love the new friendship necklace. Too sweet!

  224. kathy

I would love to have the family tree necklace with my children’s names ,Kaylee & Patrick. My son, Patrick, was named after my dear grandfather whom I miss dearly and my daughter was named after my husband’s grandmother. This way I would always have the grandparents with the great-grandchildren they never had the chance to meet. And we all know how special grandparents are!

  227. Lauren

It was very difficult to chose one piece, everything is beautiful. However, I would love the jumble of charms necklace. We have a daughter and twin boys on the way. We lost a baby boy about 2 years ago, and so often it is difficult sharing this with people I meet for the first time. If I had his name around my neck with my other children, it would be a way for me to share his short but wonderful story with others. Also, a way for me to always keep his memory close to my heart.

  228. julie

I think I would choose a necklace for myself… but deciding would be difficult! I’ve always admired Lisa’s beautiful jewelry too!

  235. Pakou

I would choose the “be still” necklace. As a necklace for me, this will be a great reminder for me to slow down or just enjoy the moments. It’s so beautiful in it’s simplicity.

  236. Susan Howe

I must confess I already have Lisa’s “By Grace Alone” necklace (which is now sold out) and LOVE it! I can’t tell you how many times my hand goes to my neck and just rubs those words as a reminder that God’s grace is sufficient.

To be able to get another piece with a gift certificate would definitely mean I can give it away to someone special… and that special person would get the “Sweet Sister” necklace.

  237. Mandy

What a difficult choice! I love the “be still” necklace and the family tree one too, but I would probably choose the “mama” necklace and keep it for myself. My husband gets upset with me because I “mama” extra kids besides our three. I don’t have a day care or anything, I just sort of end up with everybody’s kids somehow. I explained to him that it is my god-given job. Really. Just like some are called to be missionaries and some pastors, this is my calling. He sarcastically asked me, “so what’s YOUR title”. I told him that most of us don’t get fancy titles but “love giver” would suit me just fine if he really needed a formal title. :) When I saw that necklace it really made me smile. It’s got my “title” right on it!
    .-= Mandy´s last blog ..Sturgeon Fishing =-.

  238. Corinne

I would choose the little feet necklace or another custom necklace or bracelet to engrave the name of my one and only grandchild; Ezekiel. He was born on July 13, and went to be with Jesus on July 15th. It was a shock to us all, including the doctor who had not detected any problems. Every day is still a struggle. I have been searching for some kind of jewelry to remember and honor our precious Ezekiel. Lisa’s work is beautiful.

  239. Sharon Jenkins

I luuuvvvrreeee the petite original necklace – for me, of course. :D

  240. sherri

This is so hard because all of Lisa’s designs are so lovely. If pressed to choose, I guess I’d go with the original necklace with “hope” embossed on the disc. I’d give it to my mom who is recovering from stage 4 breast cancer and needs all the hope she can get.

Thanks for hosting this most generous give away.

  241. Melissa

I would love to have the thin stirling cuff. My mom has one similar to this and I wore it on my wedding day. I would love to have this one engraved with my name and my mom’s name!

I would love entered in the the jewelry giveaway contest. I love the Mama Necklace and would give it as a gift to my daughter who is a great mother to a 3 yr old and a 3 mo. old. Actually, she is an amazing mother who like most moms does not buy for herself often but instead for her children. I think she would love wearing this necklace and the words inscribed. And it is so beautiful.

    Blessings to you,

And I love the bracelet on this post as well!

  274. Dayna Argall

I would feel lucky to have any of those beautiful pieces of jewelry. However, I would pick the first bracelet and keep it for myself. I would put my husband and my name on it. This year, on Sept 13, was our 12th wedding anniversary. My husband had been a full time student for the past 2 and 1/2 years, so budget has been tight in our “starving student” family. Although my husband has graduated, and just started his new job on Mon, it was going to be a while before the first paycheck rolled in. Point is, he “couldn’t afford to get me anything nice for the third year in a row” (his words). I was content with a day full of hugs and kisses, however, he planned a special day up on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was free but rich with beauty. He packed a pic-nic lunch he made from home, and we spent the most glorious, the most meaningful, and the most love packed anniversary~~which money can not buy. So the reason why I’d love that simple bracelet is just to remember this wonderful 12th anniversary. Just like our little road trip, the bracelet is simple, beautiful, and made by hands of love. Good Morning – What beautiful jewelry! I love sterling silver :)
If I had to choose one I think I would pick the very first bracelet you feature…for some reason I seem to wear bracelets more than necklaces. Thanks for the chance to win! Enjoy your autumn :)

I actually came accross her designs at “Life in the Fun Lane” Blog and I love the one with the different charms of laundry clothes, they r perfect if you have more then one child!!!

  379. Abbie

I love the Be Still necklace. I think I would keep it – and try to practice that each and every day.

I love the Be Still and the Friendship designs. I absolute love the cream freshwater pearl earrings and the aqua stone earrings. Beautiful and so classic elegance.

Pick just one??? So hard! I drool over many, many things on Lisa’s site! I love her stuff. ~sigh~ Soooo, if I could choose only 1, I’d pick her Sweetheart Tree necklace BECAUSE (and this is important!) my husband is a forester so how perfect to have this necklace with our initials carved in the trunk? I think she designed that with us in mind! :)

(also love the Dewdrops necklace, the banner necklace, the petite original necklace, the bronze freshwater pearl earrings & the cream freshwater pearl earrings! Don’t ask for much, do I?)

So hard to pick one thing, but, I think it would be the cuff bracelet with all the kiddo’s names on it. For me! :-)

  385. Suzanne B

I love the rectangle keychain! I’d love to get it engraved for my guy.

Everything is so beautiful — I especially love the open circle necklace, as well as the tiny squares necklace. Wonderful giveaway!!

  387. Lynn Baugh

After struggling with infertility and being told I would never have children I found myself suddenly pregnant. My little miracle is now 3. When I saw the jewelry it seriously brought a tear to my eye. I would love anything that would represent my son.

The be still necklace is just adorable. It would be hard to pick one thing!

  389. Holly

Love this – I would get the “original necklace” and give it to my best friend, amy. I would love one for myself but our family is still growing! :)

  391. Laurie

I really love the original necklace! And since I’ve been hinting for months about one like this to my husband, I would definitely keep it for myself!

  392. Kyleen

I love the be still and the open circle necklaces. I would keep the necklace b/c I would want to have my family’s name on it.

  393. carol grady

I like the thin silver cuff, I would keep it for myself, it’s very pretty.

  394. kaykup

I like the true love hearts necklace,
The baby’s first spoon is cute, too.

I’m not sure what I’d do if I won!
    They’re so precious (:

  395. Laura Zamore

I would choose the family crest necklace! and selfishly keep it for myself!
