Inspired, Wonderful & Most Fabulous Christmas Homes

by Melissa @ The Inspired Room on December 17, 2009

Life in Grace

O h my, SO MUCH creativity in blogland. I’ve been touring everyone’s links and ideas this past week and it is just spectacular out there! You are all amazing.

If you missed it, here is the link to my own home tour and hundreds of others holiday homes & ideas…

I’d be completely jealous and depressed (ok, I am a little bit) except you are all so darn nice and humble about it. I just bask in your awesomeness. Seriously, how do you do it all?

Funky Junk Interiors

These are just two of the photos I swooned over and the links to their Christmas ideas, there were hundreds more. Really. I’d share them all except all you have to do is look at the links on Fridays or any of the home tours around blogland to see exactly what I mean. FABULOUS. You will not be disappointed.

The thing that stands out to me even more than the beautiful ideas, though, is the heart of your Christmas homes. You know what matters most, and you are creating a home that is a beautiful place to live and create memories with your families, not just a beautiful room to look at.

You know what this season is all about. It is not a competition to have the most beautiful Christmas decorations. You have all shared generously, it is not easy to open up your homes, so thank you for inviting us in! You ALL win the prize for the most inspired, wonderful & most fabulous Christmas homes.

In case you didn’t know, once again it is Holiday Linky Friday! If you want to share more of your amazing homes or ideas or traditions or plans for the holidays this year, I’m opening up this post again for more fabulous holiday links!

And don’t forget to check out last weeks links for more home tours!

SO true about it not being a competition – we all just love sharing our homes, and in my case today, my Mum’s special recipe!

Thanks for providing us all with a place to connect.

You are such a talented homemaker, designer and blogger!
When I read your blog and see what you do, I ask myself the same question you ask to your linkers “how does she do it all?” :) You are not alone in your jealousy and depression, how can we not have at least a hint of it looking at all the talent in you links??
The main emotion it creates in me, though, is pride. I am proud, seeing so many women use their gifts and talents to create a beautiful home for their loved ones.

I have to say that I have loved the home tours but more so because I didn’t decorate this year. We just moved from Florida to northern Kentucky 6 weeks ago and I could NOT even think of getting out a tree and decorations while I was still unpacking. I know that this Christmas will not feel like Christmas but we will be together as a family (my husband & son) enjoying a great meal and watching football. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.
