The rug in the first picture made me wish for hardwood floors in my hallway. I actually have hardwood floors but we haven’t ripped up the carpet over the hallway floor yet. This makes me want to get in there and start ripping away! : )

The hallway in our beach cottage is TINY – no room for any furniture, although I would love to add a little more character/color
I have some shabby hooks, a couple of signs (“Bless this home” and “Home Sweet Home”, and some vintage postcards. The walls are cream.
Any other suggestions?
