Inspired By: Heirloom White Spray Paint

There is nothing more exhilarating and refreshing in the summer than a can of spray paint.

Well, except for maybe this.

Inspired By: Heirloom White Spray Paint

What have you been spray painting lately?

So far, I’ve sprayed chairs, candlesticks and tables. No pictures of my progress yet, but we’ll get to that.

But perhaps more importantly, what ice cream have you diggin’ lately?

I’m IN LOVE with Haagen-Daz java chip.

Which probably explains why I am also on day four of the 30 day shred.

Jillian is totally trying to kill me.

But if I can look like her in 30 days, it will all be worth it.

No one has paid me to endorse any of these products, but I did just add the 30 day shred to my amazon.com shop.

It is time for INSPIRED BY FRIDAY!

Let’s share our spray painting summer madness and other inspiring posts (whatever inspired you this week), shall we? Link up girls. Let’s share the inspiration far and wide!

Did you see who won the frame giveaway? Maybe it was YOU!

I love me some Haagen Dazs rocky road! They use ribbons of marshmallow cream instead of hardened little stale marshmallows! Delectable!

this was my first experience (http://www.flufflefritz.com/2010/07/potted-garden.html) with spray painting – well since I spray painted my doc martins silver in high school… but I am really happy how my little potting shelf turned out, and I have a whole slew of things lined up to spray paint next :)

and I’m definitely a Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk kinda girl!

Thanks so much for hosting….ice cream is a major food group for me…and I will stay on a “kick” until forced to withdraw…Blue Bunny use to make this ice cream called bunny tracks, chocolate covered peanut butter things, with a ribbon of fudge, in chocolate ice cream, but they stopped making it! The gall! I still dream about it.

I was going to use spray paint for my chair re-do, had it in my hand even, but because of the “spray” and no place to do it, I switched to painting it by brush.
I just finished Chocolate Macadamia by B&J, sooo delicious!

Isn’t “The Shred” the best? I seriously couldn’t walk down the stairs for a week. No Joke… I would stand at the top of the stairs nd contemplate how bad I really needed to go down. I just about rolled myself down a few times. Jillian is the best!

Ha, I cannot go down the stairs. I cannot get out of the chair. Heck, I cannot get off the floor when Jillian tells me to get up.

Well THANK YOU Melissa, as if I needed images of delicious ice cream in my face this morning. I need to shred some body clutter too!!
Kidding, kudos to you for taking the challenge!
And the last thing I spray painted was a serving tree, just two days ago.

I spray painted the rattan chairs on our porch. Went from natural rattan to a gorgeous black! Ok…if you have a Super Target near you run don’t walk and get the store brand..Archer Farms Belgian Chocolate Chip…eeegads! They do have the light version which is just as tasty. You will thank me!

Coffee + ice cream = perfection. I’m with you on the flavor. This week I shared funky old lamps from the Re-Store that were rescued with spray paint.

    Enjoy your weekend.

I don’t think a weekend goes by where I don’t spray paint something! As for ice cream – I have to say the Coffee Fudge from Breyer’s is pretty tasty. Little fudge chunks in it! And it supposedly has half the calories and fat – win win I say!

I’ve gone through dozens of cans of Heirloom white! Painted 6 ladderback chairs for my kitchen that I got at a yardsale for $20…..not each, $20 for all six!…best yardsale find ever. But I say that every week :)
We keep Heirloom white around like most people keep milk in the fridge…it’s a staple:)

Well, let’s see…I’ve just painted (and repainted, and painted a third time!) my mudroom and mudroom bathroom. Finally I have a good color (Windsor Haze by Behr). GORGEOUS and makes the trim *pop*!

I’ve also spray painted a light fixture, two wall shelves, hardware for the mudroom bathroom, a thread rack for my sewing area, a small corner wall shelf for the bedroom, some picture frames…yeah, I’ve been a bit paint happy. And I’m almost done with painting my family room walls, but I’m still going to have to paint the trim (for some reason, even though it is open to a number of other rooms with white trim, the family room has natural oak finished trim. Cannot stand the stuff).

I just bought a qt of the heirloom white from HD off of their “oops” shelf–for $5. Yeppers…like I’m going to pass *that* up! That will go on a desk or a bedframe, it just depends on which of those DH pulls from storage first! LOL

Yesterday I spray painted a picture frame, and a lid to my candy jar. Flat black. LOVE a can of spray paint. I went all over Joann’s trying to find SOMETHING to do… and left with two spools of thread and a can of my lovely black.
Favorite Ice Cream? Try Googoo cluster, safeway brand. I could eat it by the gallon. And sometimes I do! Maybe I should try working out with Jillian….

Happy Shredding! That’s an intense 20 minutes for sure-worth it! And that kind of work makes me happy to eat my favorite summer treats, if I could eat ice cream I’d be sticking to my classic mint chip. Loved that!

What would we do without heirloom white or ice cream? I love them both. My current favorite ice cream is Ben & Jerry’s Everything But The… It’s amazing and will make you have to do 2mths of Jillian. But I think it’s worth it. Okay, maybe not, but I’m not exercising at all so it’s easy for me to say!

I’ve recently spray painted an old 80’s bright brass lamp black. Added a crisp white shade for a nice facelift. Am spray painting some honey colored wood barstools black. Am spray painting a little step stool for my kids bath – not sure what color yet!

Love your blog!! Well the last spray paint can that I held in my hand was when I painted the “rock” at school for my daughter’s 8th birthday (my fingers hurt just thinking about it!). One of my clients painted all her switchplates with one of those effect paints and it looks really good! Last week I found myself in the kitchen eating the last of B&Js smores. Good stuff. Thanks for the fun post! xxj

I just spray painted an old tea cart! I painted the bottom part blue (not too sure about the shade of blue yet… there aren’t many color options in the spray paint isle! ) and the top trays are sprayed with chalkboard paint! I love this because I can write in chalk and draw arrows pointing to different food and drinks I place on the cart!

I just knew you were a girl after my own heart! I keep a stash of Heirloom White in the garage at all times. Never know what I’m going to bring home that needs a spray of that oh so perfect color. Tables, vases, frames have all been adorned with Heirloom White. Next in line: dining chairs I just picked up on Craig’s List. I just love the way that little can of paint transforms trash into treasure every time!
