So I should have me kids help me clean? Just joking – they are pretty nice about it -but they DO act like I am torturing them! Cute command center!

Loved it. Perfect. That was just what I needed!

I realized that in the new (old) house that we bought, that we would be entering through the back door 90% of the time because of the garage/driveway/back door configuration. I told DH that we need to consider that when talking with the architect about renovation plans.

So… we now have a mud-room-of-sorts hidden behind a door. It will make a great place for a Family command Center because it’s not out in the open, but it is still (sorta) central.

    thanks for sharing the link!

I don’t have any kids, but maybe I could make a command center for my dogs (chuckle chuckle). Lemhi : stop barking, clean the living room. Franconia : walk Lemhi, pick up all your hair off the rug.

This is such a great idea! I particularly like that it appears it’s not in the traditional “mudroom” space, but rather, on a chosen wall in the house. We don’t have a mudroom, although I wish we did, so I am always interested to see ways to create the effect and purpose of a mudroom without having the traditional space of one. Thanks for passing this along, Melissa!

I love this command center! I live in an antique home where space is a luxury. We just don have the extras that newer homes have like laundry rooms, mud rooms. So anything that provides ideas for small spaces I love!!!

    Thanks for the idea!
