Raise your hand if you’re ready for spring to arrive! I’m sooo ready for sunshine and blue skies in Seattle. I’ve been thinking maybe picking up a fresh new doormat will help speed it along? :)

How cute are all the doormats in this post? Which is your favorite? I’m still deciding which one is coming home with me!

Love the cat face, but we’re dog people, so I’d probably go with the doggie one. Cute options!

Yes, bring on spring. I have started dabbling in my flowers outside. I love the doggie one. IT should serve as a warning that 2 lovable barking pets are about to greet you.

I love the “yay, it’s you” one. I was wondering though, do you find those mats hold up for you? I’ve always had terrible luck with coir mats. They start shedding and lose the lettering after a couple of weeks. Of course, we have two huge dogs running over them multiple times each day. I do use the mats under a covered area. Anyhoo, just thought I’d ask if you’d used the actual company for any of these mats and what your experience was. Have a great weekend!

Yeah, doormats definitely don’t last a super long time, do they? Grrr. I wish they did but they just don’t. I prefer a doormat to be crisp and clean looking so I just buy new for the season when I can, or even get a new one once a year. :) I usually rotate them to the back door once they look a little shabbier so I can use them a little longer, without being ashamed, hahah.

Surprise! Opened up The Cottage Journal on our Kindle and there you were! The photos are lovely. Of course they are because your home is lovely. Thank you for sharing your home and insights. You continue to inspire.
