Decorating the Anthropologie Way
This quilt made my mouth drop to the floor.
Fabulously unique and fresh and wonderful.
And those pillows? I’m in love.
Even the simple iron bed itself gave me a new appreciation for my own classic iron bed, something I already have!
Anthropologie always reminds me that there are many creative options for how to decorate your home, when you open your mind to see them. You might even have just the right piece in your own home or linen closet if you look around at not only what is popular, but create what is POSSIBLE!

When I was poking around Anthropologie online looking at all the wonderful bedding, I stumbled across a fun new game. It is a mix and match bedding tool. Kind of like a game.
Oh dear, they know me so well!

Anthropologie always lures me in…one way or another and before I know it, I’m IN, drowning in the wonder and beauty of what might be, if I look past what IS to what might be created if I picked up this and put it with that.

So I’ll admit, I played with the Anthropologie bedding game for quite awhile. Click, click, click … every time the combinations looked deliciously different. Textures and colors and patterns, oh my!
And each time I clicked, I was reminded that this decorating process, this mixing and matching and finding your own unique style, isn’t really any more difficult than being brave and fearless enough to try something you haven’t seen before or to put things together in a fresh new way.
It might take a little more time to wander through shops mixing and matching on a budget, you might have to patiently collect unique things you find over time, you might even have to dig into your own linen closet or your grandma’s cedar chest rather than shopping online or in your local stores.
You can create a style all your own and mix and match with any budget or no budget at all.
You just have to be brave enough to try something different.
Go play the Anthopologie game. You’ll see how much fun it is!
Do you embrace creativity and personal style as a fun challenge, or does the idea of trying something unique scare you?
PS. My blog is undergoing a little spring makeover so I do apologize if things are a bit wonky for a bit …
