The rug in the first picture made me wish for hardwood floors in my hallway. I actually have hardwood floors but we haven’t ripped up the carpet over the hallway floor yet. This makes me want to get in there and start ripping away! : )

I love that fist picture! Where is that rug from? I love it, I wonder if that’s something you could make? Or buy, I just think it’s beautiful.

These made me happy, too! You have such an artist’s eye for grouping photos to make a mosaic. The first one is just one of those photos that makes your heart sing; imagine what the rest of the house must be like!

Those are beautiful! So colorful, yet light and airy. I personally believe a window seat can pretty much make any room :)

    Great inspiration.

The hallway in our beach cottage is TINY – no room for any furniture, although I would love to add a little more character/color

I have some shabby hooks, a couple of signs (“Bless this home” and “Home Sweet Home”, and some vintage postcards. The walls are cream.

    Any other suggestions?

Can anyone tell me what kind of rug that is in the first pic? It looks like a rag rug that isn’t woven – I’d love to buy or make one.
    Help!
