Thanksgiving Greetings

From our snowy storm-messed yard in Washington…(where Winston LOVES traipsing through the snow and having outdoor adventures, even though he is 15 and a half years old!)

Happy Thanksgiving from Winston and our family to you and yours!

I’m so thankful for all of you, you give me reasons to be thankful every day.

Decorative Idea for Christmas <br> {using bits and pieces}

Here is a super easy idea for creating something new with some random Christmas decorations! Be fearless about mixing things that look pretty together, you don’t have to limit yourself to only “Christmas” items. And your traditional Christmas balls do not have to be limited to being hung on the tree!

Here I have everything from shells and starfish, to green and silver holiday balls and even an upside down mercury glass candle holder!

Group your items together in a bowl or other container.

I like the contrast of the warm and dark wood bowl with the bright white shells and shiny mercury glass balls.

This makes a great centerpiece that is low enough it won’t interfere with your conversations! It would also make a lovely holiday accent on a coffee or entry table!
