Surprise! I have a “newly reformatted” book coming out mid-August called Simply Home. Simply Home is two books in one! My popular original paperback books, Simple Organizing and Simple Decorating, are now combined into a hardback version called Simply Home! You can pre-order it now (Amazon or Barnes and Noble!) and it officially releases August 15!

One of the neat things I’ve learned from being an author with a publisher is that they think about different formats of books they can create for various markets, price points and purposes. My original publishing contract was for eight books (and more books were added over time). Some were hardbacks, some paperbacks, some bigger, some smaller. Some of you have asked me why they didn’t make them all the same format and size for collectors :)….I love that idea, perhaps that is an option for the future! But my publisher is also thinking about their current markets and how to make my books accessible to more people. I love that, too!

My publisher Harvest House approached me last year with an idea to put together a book that would combine TWO of my original popular paperback books (Simple Decorating and Simple Organizing) into one new hardback book called Simply Home.

This book is so fun, if you turn it one way, it’s Simple Organizing. Flip it upside down and it’s Simple Decorating!

If you have either or both of those original books, you will find most of the same photos and tips (with a few new ones and other updates!) in this hardback version.

Even if you already have the paperbacks, Simply Home is still a really fun book for gift giving (or if you want a hardback version for your shelves!). It would make a lovely housewarming gift for a new homeowner or anyone moving to a new home. Realtors may even want to give them to their clients!
