Every spring brings a familiar, hopeful feeling. The days grow a little brighter, the air feels lighter, and we start dreaming about a fresh start at home. Maybe you feel the urge to declutter a little, refresh a room, or add a few simple touches that make your home feel ready for spring.
But if you’re anything like me, it can also feel a little overwhelming to know where to begin.
Maybe it’s seeing the sun shine through the dirty windows and across the dusty surfaces.
Or the dishes that always seem to be piled up in the sink.
Maybe spring reminds you that you haven’t seen the bottom of the laundry pile in a very long time.
Perhaps the clutter or pileups from winter are still sitting there on the floor.
Your home to-do list might be growing faster than you can check things off.
You may even have decorating projects you started last year that are now at a standstill.
I’ve been there.
But here’s what changed everything for me.
(Spoiler alert: It wasn’t about finding more hours in the day or trying to make everything perfect!)

What I eventually realized was this:
I didn’t need a better routine, more time, or another project list.
I needed a way to bring everything together—so my home felt less like a never-ending project and more like the sanctuary I wanted it to be.
A way to help my home feel calm, welcoming, and ready for the day and the season ahead.

Caring for my home needed to feel more like therapy for me… and less like another chore I didn’t have time for.
I needed a simple place to begin each day and each season—and a rhythm I could actually follow.
When I began practicing what I came to think of as Home Therapy, something shifted.
Not only in my home, but in me.
The small, ordinary rhythms of tending to my home started to feel calming instead of overwhelming.
It took me years to find a way of caring for my home that actually felt peaceful.
And that’s what led me to create what I now call The HomeBody Method:
a thoughtful, practical approach built on three simple rhythms that help you create more peace in your daily life and more beauty in your home.

Inside The HomeBody House, you’ll learn how to practice this method in your own home—little by little—so creating a sanctuary becomes more enjoyable, more meaningful, and more like a way of life.
Together, these rhythms help you know what to focus on first, what can wait, and how to keep moving forward without going in circles.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
Our three rhythms work together throughout the year, so you can begin where you are and build from there.
Once you experience these rhythms, caring for your home starts to feel less overwhelming and more like Home Therapy for every season.

In The HomeBody House, we begin every season with intention.
I walk you through our Rhythm to Welcome a New Season—a simple way to know where to begin and how to move through the season without overwhelm.
You’ll start there…
and then continue through the season guided by simple home rhythms and a decorating recipe that help everything come together.
A calm, cozy and welcoming home isn’t created all at once.
A sanctuary grows through small rhythms, thoughtful choices, and seasons of care.
If you’d love a little guidance, encouragement, and a peaceful rhythm to follow this season, you can begin today inside The HomeBody House.
