20 Days Left Until Christmas
Help Us Mr. Linky!

by Melissa @ The Inspired Room on December 5, 2008

Hi friends! How are you? Have I told you lately how how much I appreciate all of your comments? I’ve been out of town this past week and without reliable internet, trying to settle some of the details of our move (like that pesky detail of WHERE we will live in January). I’ll update you all soon on the progress, I promise.

But being out of town, every time I was able to pop in to check my emails or comments, I was so happy to see you all here. You are the best, thank you! It means a lot! I’ve been meeting some wonderful new people lately, so thanks again for your support in the comments. It is great to get to meet you all.

SOMETHING NEW!

The amazing Tsh from Simplemom had a great idea, sharing links via Tumblr. So, now if you want to see any posts I want to share, you can click here and see them! I am new to this so I haven’t added very many yet, but I’ll get the hang of it soon! It is great to be able to add links with a click of a button!

HOLIDAY MR. LINKY

Speaking of links, Mr. Linky was being a pest earlier this week and causing some havoc, so hopefully he will behave this time for our Friday Holiday Linky! Feel free to link directly to your holiday posts from this week! Thanks for sharing your inspiration with all of us, I really enjoy checking out all of your holiday happenings. Mr. Linky will be at the bottom of this post!

Are you all going to BlissDom?

You might want to check it out, just in case there was anyone going that you might recognize or want to hang out with. Like, Simplemom, Nester or me or Shannon or Meredith or … wait, ME? {faints}. Sign up now for the early bird discount!

Today I am including all of the buttons from our wonderful Moms Unite members. I want to encourage everyone to visit them from time to time, they are all great ladies.

Well, I am full throttle ready to deck the halls & bake the goods! After mentally taking a year off from the bustle last year (just not up to it with the passing of my dad), I am happy to say this year is full of joy.

And a lot of it is due to the kindness & inspiration I have found here in blogland!!

Thanks!

Hi Melissa!

I am lovin’ those sweater stockings! Fabulous!

I put 2 links in for two different Christmas posts, from this week, but my the link title shows autumn, for some reason. The links actually go to my Christmas posts, though. Don’t know why.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks for hosting, Melissa. I added a link to a wonderful easy to make snowman ornament that uses a child’s handprint for the snowmen … very cute and easy, and perfect for the grandparents! Today I’m majorly cleaning my closet and doing laundry, taking occasional breaks for some bloggy eye candy, and packing for a 2 week trip to Canada. No holiday decor up at my house yet, it won’t happen until we’re back from our trip … unless, of course, the kids surprise me.

Whew! It’s been a busy holiday season already and we aren’t even to Christmas yet. I’ve been enjoying celebrating a handmade Christmas this year. Lots of crafting, sewing, and hanging out. My favorite project so far is the one I linked to above. I made matching Christmas scarves for me and my girls from about 2.50 of remnant fabric. They turned out so cute and the girls love that we all match. Me too!!
