A Beautiful Life Friday

Check out the gardens and outdoor rooms over at View from the Pines (sorry! the blog seems to have moved and the link no longer works!) I’m hooked and inspired! The outdoor room above is from Brenda’s yard! I spent some time drooling over her creative outdoor rooms and gardening spaces on her blog and thought you’d all enjoy visiting Brenda! Such lovely photos for inspiration — I enjoyed looking through her archives!

For more gardening ideas, check out yesterday’s post and all the comments..and if you have some tips or links to share, head over to my Small Space Gardening post to add your own ideas! Thanks to all of you who shared ideas for me! I’ll be studying them!

I won’t take up any more of your time today with more my words, just enjoy everyone’s beautiful life links as well as all the amazing links left here for our Procrasinator’s Party and the links in the comments on every post (via commentluv!). You are all so inspiring to me!

Have a wonderful three day weekend!

PS. There are more amazing ideas and places to visit on my Inspiring Finds tumblr if you have some extra time on your hands!

A Beautiful Life Friday

Beautiful Life Friday is a once weekly post to reflect on the small moments of beauty we found or created. A beautiful life is right in front of us!

Mr. Linky Rules (stolen from Julia’s blog Hooked on Houses, thank you Julia.)

  1. Add the permalink to the specific blog post, not your general blog address.
  2. Include what your post is about in parentheses after your blog name. Ex: The Red Cottage (antiques)
  3. Link back to the party from your post so that your readers can come and see how everyone else found beauty where they were this week!
  4. Visit as many of the other participants as possible and leave comments! That’s what a blog party is all about!
  5. Double-check to make sure your link works and goes to the right page so it doesn’t get deleted! If you come back and see your link is gone, re-read these rules and try again next week.

(Also check out Fifi’s Fashionable Friday and Hooked on Fridays parties, happening today!)

Mr. Linky is misbehaving {again} so if he isn’t there, add your link in the comments or just pop back in later…

I don’t think I’ve seen that blog (View from the Pines) before, so I’ll have to check it out. I could always use outdoor inspiration!

    Have a beautiful three-day weekend! :-)

(Let’s hope Mr. Linky makes it through the day. Got my fingers crossed that he doesn’t “crash” the party! I hear he’s been having some issues.)

    Hi Melissa,

Yea, its Friday. My post today is titled “Here’s Some Good Advice” and it’s just was one of those silly ” round robin” emails that landed in my email box that a girlfriend sent to me that I enjoyed reading. Thank goodness for three day weekends because I’m really looking forward to having some summer fun with family this Memorial day!

It’s wonderful and so inspiring to see all these outdoor spaces that are truly living rooms without walls, and so connected to nature. Just love them all (even if they’re not coastal)!

I really enjoy your blog. This week I decided to share my morning away from “everyday life”. We have to do that every now and then to make a “beautiful life” for ourselves! Thanks for letting me join the party.

I loved your gardening post this week (and thanks for stopping by mine!) It always seems like such a guess-and-by-golly thing when I go to plant in the Spring…so nice to see I’m not alone!

For some reason, I don’t see Mr. Linky, but here’s my post for today:

Well, who knew? I just met a blogger online today, and she mentioned that you recommended my View From The Pines blog here. She said she recognized Robert the carpenter from the window, and just knew she’d seen him before. He was on both my blogs. She thought she had deja vu, and then figured it out! Here it is almost 7 p.m. and I’m just figuring it out! I thank you mightily. As soon as Robert gets that deck finished, I’ll be decorating up a storm! I love your blog, by the way. And today I see you have a button, of which I figured just this week how to add to my sidebar. So I’m taking it with me as I go, if you don’t mind. Have a wonderful weekend!

This is the first year I’ve ever planted flowers, and I am starting with annuals (mostly pansies). It just took a small amount of space and wasn’t real expensive. This week has been an emotionally hard week, so I wanted to surround myself with some beauty to lift my mood…thanks so much for your blog, I love reading all the creative ideas!
