I‘m always a sucker for those little quizzes that help you figure out your decorating style. Maybe it is because I love so many styles. It is always fun to see which ones capture the real you! I think I mentioned this last week, but HomeGoods has a fun & quick little quiz on their site right now. I just took it myself and I think it came out pretty much like me, what do you think?!

It was an interesting quiz. I found that I picked things I might not have expected picking. When I really thought about it I picked the less stark options – true modern might not be what I really am comfortable with. Which I never really thought about. I really considered that I was entirely retro modern and in the end, I dont think I am.

Love your articles! I love these quizes too! I’m “Bohemian Classic” which sounds right on for the most part! Would have thought I was country though, but the description for this sounds more “me”. My biggest challenge is organization. That’s the truth!

Hi Melissa. I’m Earthy Casual which doesn’t surprise me at all. But now what? lol. My “beloved” (51 and 54 I just can’t call him my boyfriend) have decided to live together. His home is 1970′s College Dorm Room and I brought virtually nothing with me. A story that doesn’t belong here…lol. Where do I begin to make this a home that we can both love? I have to work around big screen TV’s and man who could live in a cave..lol. I also wanted to mention that with all of the demands of daily life, I always feel a little more at peace after reading your blog. Thank you Melissa. Happy fall to you and yours.
