I could barely contain my glee when I was introduced (by a blog reader) to these absolutely beautiful frames (Thank you Lisa!). I love when blog readers know just what I would like!

I have always loved having framed art and photos on my wall, but honestly I never really paid much attention to what they were framed with. Well, now that I have laid my eyes on these beautiful frames I realize what I have been missing in my wall arrangements — the unique, authentic special look of a handcrafted frame. I cannot believe what a difference it makes! There is just no comparison in how charming these are, I have a hard time looking at my cheap mass produced ones now.

These frames are hand made to order, meaning, they are not churned out by the thousands on a machine and sold to discount stores. They aren’t cheaply made, ugly, or typical.

They really make a statement and add such amazing character to a wall! Not to mention how they elevate the importance of a very special photo!

I adore the first one – it’s so fresh and different. They’re all lovely though – you’re right – we should shun the mass-produced frames and pay more attention to how we display photographs which are presumably on display in the first place because they mean something special to us.

You are SO right about cheap, mass produced frames. I look around and nowhere else do I have such a collction of “Made in China”… I loved all the frames but I think the Nostalgic Picture Frame – 10.5 inch round would fit perfectly the place I have in mind. Thanks for the info!

I would pick the cottage frame and give it to my best friend who has all her grandchildren framed in similar frames. She puts black and whites or sepia pics in them and they are so cute. She also has a lot of close-ups like yours. Never thought to photograph like that but it is really charming.

Oh, I love all of those frames, but I think I’d have to choose the first one. It reminds me of beadboard, and I love all things beadboard.
