I am a big fan of fresh spring flowers but I also love having realistic faux options for those times when you need some cheery flowers and you don’t have the real deal. I love these faux tulips I got recently! They look and even feel so realistic.

It’s wonderful to putter in the garden and have flowers to bring in, but if you don’t have what you want, faux can be a perfectly acceptable stand in. And since faux will stay perfectly persevered, you’ll never have to go through the droopy phase! You can also mix in real with faux and no one needs to know.

I got several bunches of tulips for spring, and I also just ordered some peonies for summer from the same brand! I chose the spring orange color, and the light pink. I’ll be sure to show you those too when they arrive. Maybe they’ll even come in handy for Courtney’s wedding this summer! Did you see her wedding mood board and some of her plans? Of course, I can’t wait to plant REAL spring and summer flowers! Puttering around the yard is one of my most favorite activities this time of year, so I’m so excited to begin planning our garden spaces. We have the perfect yard for this phase of our life, it’s already got a great head start with mature bushes and trees, and it’s compact so it will be manageable to design, plant and care for. I can already picture the end result, it will be so charming!
