Decorating for spring should be fun! Do you think so? I think my bunny candleholder probably says how I feel about that! It’s been a long winter, so I want to savor and celebrate the arrival of spring! I enjoy decorating with some of the classic seasonal items this time of year, like birds, the tulips, the green and blossoming branches, and of course, it’s the perfect time of year to add a bit of whimsy, so my bunnies get to have their big moment in my home :).

I found this adorable brass bunny candleholder holder recently. I fell in love with him so I knew he belonged with me! If you’ve been here at The Inspired Room for awhile, you might remember how much I love incorporating unexpected whimsical touches like this bunny candle holder (and other quirky animal decor) not just in spring but throughout my home all year round. I try to keep the look subtle and classy so I don’t go too overboard with it, but I do want our home to feel happy, relaxed and lighthearted.

While I have always felt autumn was my favorite season at home, spring and summer are beautiful here in the NW, too. After several long months of thoroughly enjoying the cozy layers and holidays (all of which I LOVE!), spring feels particularly refreshing to me. Celebrating the subtle evolution through each of the seasons by creating a home that is personal and meaningful is what makes our home a reflection of our family.
