Hi friends! Kylee here (Melissa’s daughter) — and today I’m so excited to finally share my daughter Lila’s completed nursery!

Sharing with you has been on my to-do list for quite some time (Lila is almost one now — how did that happen?). I’m thrilled to have pulled everything together and captured it in photos to show you!

Similar Rug

If you’ve been following along, you might remember this space as my former home office/guest room. While the function has changed, many elements have stayed the same! We kept the original wall color and window treatments, and leaned into the botanical, garden-inspired feel. Think butterflies, birds, and lots of floral touches.

A lot of what I used is stuff I had or got secondhand, but I’ve linked sources where I could (or found similar items!), and you’ll find a full shop roundup at the end of this post — plus a few links sprinkled throughout.

Animal Mobile // Crib // Scalloped Crib Skirt // Crib Sheet (also sold here) // Similar Rattan Wall Flowers
Green Gingham Ruffle Pillow

The crib was one of the only new major purchases we made for the space, and it was a gift from my mom. I absolutely fell in love with its vintage-meets-modern look and soft cream color (not super bright white!).

The wall color is Benjamin Moore Louisburg Green. It’s a soft, serene gray-green and very calming.

This vintage dresser has been in my family for decades — it belonged to my grandma, then my parents, and now to us. When my husband and I got it in 2009, we saw a near identical one in an Anthropologie catalog in a light, white-washed finish. So we DIY’d the look by watering down white paint and wiping it back with a cloth. It hasn’t been touched since and it’s gotten a bit scuffed since then, but I like to think the wear adds character!

The artwork around the dresser is from pages of an old calendar! These [similar prints] would give a nearly identical feel.

Don’t look too closely at the pink lamp. I attempted to DIY a pleated shade with hot glue…and wow, it was way harder than the tutorials made it look. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Ticking Striped Changing Pad Cover

The linen curtains we have in here are sadly no longer available, but these ones or these ones are very similar. The Roman shades are blackout lined ones from Select Blinds.

Bow Hook Rack

I love having a couple of hook rails on the walls — they’re great for displaying favorite outfits or keeping everyday essentials within reach. And the wall shelf, I really wanted a display spot I could switch up seasonally. Ours is from West Elm, but unfortunately, it’s no longer available. This one has a similar vibe if you’re looking! These are the bow hooks.

Lamp // Glider

If you’re on the fence about whether you really need a good quality glider, I understand as I wasn’t sure either. But let me tell you: it has been essential. It’s my go-to for feedings, contact naps, story time, and winding down at bedtime. Ten months in and I’m still using it daily. It’s so comfortable!

Our Favorite Children’s Books // Wood Blocks // Stacking Rings
Gold Butterfly Picture Frame (found ours at Home Goods!)

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at Lila’s room. I hope it offers a little inspiration for your own nursery — or just a pretty moment in your day!

Beautiful room. She can grow with that room. My only concern was the open outlets. Please use outlet covers to protect little ones!

I think so too, it’s a room to grow with! And yes baby proofing underway (she’s currently not left alone! )
