A gift for moms at church.

{My girls}

The best daughters a mom could ever dream of.

{Luke, modeling his band concert attire — first tie ever}.

When I found out I was having a boy after two girls, I had only one prayer (besides wanting him to be healthy, of course). I prayed he’d be cute. Yes, I did. I was so nervous to be a boy mom and I figured cute boys would be easier to deal with. Prayers answered. Haaaa!  Blessed to be his mama. Yes, he is lounging in the Tempur-Pedic bed again.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and find many blessings to be thankful for!

    This was so sweet. I can see you in all of your children. That is too funny about praying for a cute boy! But he is, and your girls are beautiful. (and their drinks look divine!) I hope your day is a good one. We’ll be at college graduation for this Mother’s Day, so that accomplishment makes me a blessed mom!

    The world is your oyster when you are well rested and you got a wonderful nights sleep. I would fill my day with smiles, open doors with kindness and create beauty with my intentions.

    Melissa, you have lovely daughters, and the first thing I thought of when I saw your son is, he’s awfully cute. Haha! I felt the same way after having 3 girls, then my son. And thank goodness he is cute because 13 year old boys are a handful.
    Enjoy your Mother’s Day with your family!

    Do you ever call your son Lukey (or Lukie)? Our firstborn is Luke, and when I would insert his name into songs, I usually needed a 2 syllable name, so even though he is 18 and graduating in 2 weeks, he is still “Lukey” in the bedtime song we sing with all of the kids every night!

    He is more than cute. Seriously.
    I think girls are great… but boys… gosh, there’s just something so great about them. Maybe it’s just mine… he is attentive, respectful and a delight!
