Cozy evening winter scene with a candle and treats on a kitchen counter

There is something so comforting about what I call The Winter House. It doesn’t ask you to rush away the season we’re in now or wait for a date on the calendar when it’s socially permissible to create and feel something — The Winter House knows what it’s for, it’s a place of peace for you and the people you invite in.

It’s a feeling of comfort, a place to bring light and warmth to the darkness and illuminate the simple pleasures of life, a cozy nest where you can celebrate the joys and embrace the traditions of your family, faith and season, and a place to make yourself cozier and more at peace right now, in the season you’re in. It’s your sanctuary.

When you join HomeBody Gathering Place, I guide you each month to create a home that will care for you now, and in every season. One that can carry you through the ups and downs, the sunny days and through dark nights, too.

From November through the end of the year we’re walking through The Winter House together and exploring what this season at home can offer us: shelter, comfort, tradition, presence, and togetherness.

If this sounds like the kind of home you want to create, come join us.
