Sometimes in uncertain times, you just need to focus on finding daily doses of joy. This bunny pitcher definitely made me smile this week, especially because when I impulse bought him online I definitely thought I was buying a small creamer! He turned out to be much larger in stature than I anticipated, but that doesn’t make me love him any less! He makes a statement and I love him for it.
I mean, look at him!
It’s the little things. Er, the bigger statement pieces. One of my first posts on this blog thirteen years ago was a design lesson about how tiny bunnies won’t make a design statement in a big room. It was kind of a funny post. Ha! I think my new statement bunny is perfectly proportioned for this room!
And how cute is he with tulip hair as an Easter centerpiece?! I mean. If a bunny with tulip hair doesn’t bring joy right now, I don’t know what will. It’s the simple things.
What could you do this week to bring yourself a daily dose of joy?

Thank you for your “daily dose of joy” in the time of Corona.
Home and not too creative because of the flu, I am searching for joy online, watching church services on line and creating the joy of Lent!
Oh friend, I’m so sorry! Take care! xoxo
Love the “funny” bunnies! Just the bit of fun I need to see as I take a break from teaching on line to high school students! Keep sharing! Thank you!
I hope it’s going well, what a crazy season for students and teachers!
I love it! The bunny with tulips is adorable!
I am definitely going to have to get some tulips!!
Thank you for your post! Your cute bunny brought a smile to my face!
Does make you smile thats for sure!
You’re welcome, thank you for stopping by! It always makes me happy to hear from my friends in the computer!
Thank you for joy! I love bunnies, and this one is so sweet I couldn’t help but smile!
He’s a joy bringer!! :-D
I planted 3 new evergreens in my front yard garden this week, and that brought me joy. I can’t wait for spring to get here so the stores will have more shrubs and perennial choices. I am happiest in the garden in springtime!
Me, too…it just can’t come soon enough this year! Although we have sun all week so I’m not complaining!
Thanks for the great happy bunny post! A bunny creamer would make for a nice touch to your tea tray for sure but this guy is more of a flower pot..Lol! which is nice too:0)
I’m online shopping too but for a mother-in-law birthday gift..sigh..as I am struggling with that. I keep finding myself on the garden sites instead..oh goodness!
LOL, he is! I’m totally going to get him some flowers for his hair. :-D I’m with you, all I can think about it being outside right now!
Love it! And Melissa, thanks for continuing to encourage us…..
You’re welcome! Thank you for visiting me! :)
I absolutely love the bunny. I have old and poorly house bunnies from rescues and love everything bunny related. This bunny is perfect. For health reasons, I am self isolating and I am afraid and very worried. It’s just me and my animals, with no family nearby and not a big friend network either. I am relying on help from neighbour’s relatives. I have poor mental health and this is very hard for me. I can’t see my CPN or psychiatrist and that really worried me. I feel so alone and vulnerable. I really appreciate your positive posts and the comments others are making, but this is hard. Everyone, please take care and keep safe. x

I love that bunny! He makes me happy, too. He looks vintage, which makes me like it even more
He really does, it’s such a sweetie! Ha!
Oh my word! So very cute!
I pulled my bunny collection out as well; 2 lefton bunnies in the china closet, 3 prints scattered about (Durer “Hare,” a small pen and ink sketch, and a larger watercolor) 3 fist size pottery bunnies grouped together in my L.R., some misc. smaller bunnies scattered about, and a big bouquet of daffodils. Spring even when it doesn’t feel like it.
